“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! “Definitely and interesting spin on Austrian food, some dishes are more accurate then other but in general I would say they have a decent collection and get quite a few things right. Moreover they have a great aekactik. Of imported Austrian and German beers.
The service was really good and friendly.
Definitely worth to visit if you are looking for something different.“

“Had a great time at Guy Fieri’s Dive & Taco Joint while enjoying the soccer atmosphere at Kansas City’s Power & Light District. We ordered the carne asada tacos and the carne asada fries, and both were delicious. The carne asada was flavorful, and the fries were loaded and perfect for sharing.
The service was friendly and the atmosphere was lively with lots of fans around. Great food, great energy, and a fun place to hang out while watching soccer. We would definitely come back next time we’re in Kansas City! ⚽🌮😊🔥“

“I love kitties hamburgers, and have highly reviewed them in the past. I was really looking forward to today to one this Friday afternoon and I have memorized their hours.
Behold, they’re closed until the end of February. Was a very small faded cardboard sign on the door.
If they really cared about their customers, they’d have a big one that you could see from the street without having to park and walk um readable one .
And they would at least update their website.
Guess I’ll have to go to Shake shack this afternoon.“

“Jim and the team there care, a rare commodity in this day and age. A friend of mine accidentally left behind his son’s teddy bear, 6 waitresses and Jim studied the picture and took down our numbers. Jim was in the back, one of the waitresses (wish I knew her name) said to hold on that Jim would want to be involved. Think about that, a waitress willingly involving a manager, and the manager CARED. 10/10 would recommend, good food, better people. I wish this business nothing but the best. 🙏“

“This place is consistently great! The same woman is there to take out order with welcoming kindness and a smile. The food is wonderful! It can be quite crowded because it’s no secret how great it is. This is one of my favorite places to eat when I’m in the mood for Mediterranean style food. I love the market just outside as well.“

They have fun and easy going servers, the food is terrific and diverse enough to please a large group of diners, and it’s all in a really nice environment that balances decor and vibe with practicality and ease of business. Take advantage of their happy hour when you can those deals are great, you won’t generally eat a meal here for under $30, but the price is well worth the taste and quality of your meal.“

“We LOVE Milwaukee Deli to the point where we knew we had to have it as a late night snack at our wedding! We worked out a catering order with Jon who was so great at assisting us and making sure what we ordered showed up at our venue at the requested time! We didn't have to worry about a thing on the day and just got the glorious news from our venue coordinator that the pizza had arrived! Our guests DEVOURED this pizza. This place has it all! 🏈 🎯 🕹️I got a mouth-watering sandwich, The Bandit! Roast beef, smokey cheddar, red onion, raspberry jam and horseradish all on a delicious Dutch crunch roll! 🐶💚🥪 The atmosphere was high-energy and just felt less like strangers, and more like your own pack. “My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at The Melting Pot, and the staff was amazing and the service was great! They made our anniversary so special!! I can not thank them enough. The manager surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries, our table decorated with roses, and gave me a rose! Our hostess made us a special two year plate with a delicious raspberry sauce. “The Town Topic Hamburgers early morning 5am crowd is truly one of the last great American dining experiences. The three egg cheese omelet with shatteringly crispy perfectly cooked hash browns was a transcendent experience, and I wasn’t even hungover. “We visited Akoya Omakase to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The chef’s counter experience was top notch. Chef Peter was engaging and provided thoughtful notes on each item served. We also enjoyed engaging with Josh and admired his careful and skilled approach to ensuring that tables received the same beautiful plating and food. Allowing for Chef Peter to select our menu created a fun and delightful dining experience. This place is a 1/1 on the Kansas City food scene in our opinions, and we are already looking ahead to find a time to come back.“

“We went here three times yesterday. Yes, three times. We were at an event around the corner and were able to walk over. We ate at 5 of the venders. All were fabulous. Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.“
