“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! “The Blattsalate was the taste of spring in a salad. The greens & radishes were crispy and flavorful. I hadn't had Frittatensuppe before but I would order this soup again. It was enjoyable. The bauernschmaus was smoked perfectly. Hungarian gulasch is a crowd pleaser. It was fork tender and paired perfectly with Spätzle. The attention and service but the wait staff was impeccable. The restaurant was Saturday night busy but the staff met the challenge with ease.“

“Really fun atmosphere, great service and great food. The Al Pastor tacos were my favorite blending unique flavors of sweet fruits with small pieces spicy jalapeno peppers. A real treat for the taste buds. We went on a Tuesday night which was Taco Tuesday. They had $3 tacos (you can pick from four options) and discounts in drinks. I tried the Al Pastor, Cheeseburger Taco, Buffalo Cauliflower, and Chicken Tinga. All four were very good.“

“Went to Cliff’s last night while in KC for a volleyball tournament for our granddaughter. She has celiac disease.
They were accommodating with a broad GF menu and ALL of the food was fantastic!
Best wings I’ve had in years, the corn chowder soup was amazing, the pasta and sandwiches were all wonderful!

“We went here three times yesterday. Yes, three times. We were at an event around the corner and were able to walk over. We ate at 5 of the venders. All were fabulous. Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.“

“Ordered the sushi Bento with pork gyoza, miso soup, and Chinese jasmine tea. My sister and I left stuffed! There was not a single thing we got with our boxes that missed. The interior lighting is perfect and location is in a fun part of the city. The staff is very welcoming and professional. Highly recommend for tasty Japanese food in downtown KC. I'm on the fence if I wanna order the ice cream mochi as I write this. Maybe next time... this place claps.“

“Los Alamos Cocina is easily the best authentic Mexican food in KC. The menudo and pozole is best ive ever had and the chili rolo and verde are both outstanding, tastes exactly like homemade because they are. Wonderful family owned stop in a historic area of KC. oh and dont forget to treat yourself to the best chillaquiles and eggs you'll ever have. Delicious! The catering we got for our New Years feast was a huge hit as well: tamales, pork verde and menudo. EXCELLENTE!“
