“Tacos we're very good, they were street size. Service from Ashlyn was top notch. We also other the trash can nachos. If you're have ever seen them on Guys show, they are HUGE.. Here they are small and really made for just one person. They are not made to share.“

“It had been a while since we ventured into downtown KCMO, and we genuinely enjoyed the atmosphere. Overall, the food was good, though not quite at the level we expected for the price. One clear takeaway: avoid the fried items. We wish we had read the negative reviews beforehand, because the wings were unfortunately the worst we’ve ever had overly oily and lacking flavor. As a big wings fan, the execution was especially frustrating: the batter wasn’t right, the texture was greasy, and the seasoning simply missed the mark. The shrimp toasts were also disappointing—very soggy bread to the point that I felt it wasn't cooked in the middle.
That said, the “Japanese‑style” dishes featuring raw fish were much better. The sushi taco was a standout, and my friends really enjoyed the bone marrow beef tartare. For the main course, the scallop pasta had great potential, but the salt was heavy—particularly on the scallops and toward the bottom of the bowl, even after mixing.
On a positive note, the drinks, desserts and service were excellent, easily deserving five stars.“

“I had the most relaxing (the atmosphere and ambiance) and most delicious experience here! Collin (I hope that’s how he spells it)was amazing and attentive, I ordered the steak bowl and the steak was cooked to perfection (medium) and the Cherry Margarita was amazing!!!!! I then ordered a side of fries because why not!!! They were fresh and delicious!!!! 10/10 I highly recommend!“

“Tonight we went to celebrate an accomplishment by my teenage daughter. I am a member of a Northland restaurant group and I was told to ask for Jamie because she is highly recommended. She was our server and my gosh, she went above and beyond. She mad our night wonderful and my daughter could NOT have been happier. Absolutely beaming. “We chose to dine at Grand Street - Plaza on a recent Tuesday due to good experiences in past years, close to KC Rep theatre where we were going afterwards, and convenient, free parking. Though their normal parking lot is torn up, we had the choice of attached parking garage (very convenient after entrance is found) or parking on the other side of the building. We enjoyed house salads, the trout and salmon main dishes, and house drinks (happy hour prices). The lady who served us did a great job.“

“I wish I could say that I had been able to go here. I bought my tickets and then realized that we could not make it on that night. Yes...I get it. You don't generally get a refund or exchange for a show. But. I tried for an entire week just to get a reply to my emails and voicemails that I left. I even called the front desk of the hotel who said that they would pass along g my request to reschedule. Don't get me wrong...I get that they may not be able to do that.. but a simpme reply of maybe.. sorry. Or..thank you for your interest. But absolute silence. I hope the show was good. I hear nice things about it“

“I'm not so sure about the Westport location after witnessing an employee kind of heavy set with dreads died at the tips snorting cocaine in the back by the dumpsters and selling drugs he had to be the cook and I just do not want any fairy dust on my waffles or my chicken I rather go braid water or bite the curb that is not what I expected to see when pulling up and I definitely don't want to spend my money with an establishment that knowingly hires drug addicts“

“We were staying overnight at The Fairfield Inn, and The Summit Grill was recommended to us for a dinner location. We were pleasantly surprised at the deliciously amazing food, quick service, and also our attentive waiter, Travis. I highly recommend the Traditional Pot Roast, and my husband recommends the Chicken-Fried Chicken. If we are in Gladstone again, we will defintely return.“

“The food was great, and our waitress, Nicole, was great at giving service with a smile and good attitude. The only issue was that one of us ordered breakfast potatoes but got hashbrowns instead, though that seems to have been a kitchen mistake since the ticket still had potatoes when we paid. My family member didn’t mind the mistake though. My family and I had never been here before today, but we’ll definitely want to come back again.“

“Jim and the team there care, a rare commodity in this day and age. A friend of mine accidentally left behind his son’s teddy bear, 6 waitresses and Jim studied the picture and took down our numbers. Jim was in the back, one of the waitresses (wish I knew her name) said to hold on that Jim would want to be involved. Think about that, a waitress willingly involving a manager, and the manager CARED. 10/10 would recommend, good food, better people. I wish this business nothing but the best. 🙏“

“My husband and I drive from Omaha at least twice a year for date weekend and we always dine at Stock Hill. We love love love the ambience, service, food, all of it. It hits the mark for that dreamy, darkish, amber glow ambience, especially in the later months. This past weekend we went to KC on a whim and knew they were booked and decided we would be fine with a seat at the bar. When we inquired about a table for 2, the hostess explained that they were booked and could sit at the bar. We were totally great with that! But the “head honcho” came out of nowhere and told us he actually had a table for 2. The cherry on top? He proceeded to seat us at the table we first sat at when we went there for date weekend years ago. Thank you! 🥰“
