“Decided to give this place a shot before heading in to pay the light bills at the casino. We were pleasantly surprised. We shared cheese curds and the chicken tenders with French fries. I had already read some poor reviews but we thought we'd see for ourselves and maybe these reviews were given on off days because we enjoyed the food. The curds were great, I mean fried cheese... What's not to love and the tenders were perfectly crisp. Not to much batter and seasoned nicely. The fries were hot and delicious. The bartender let my husband try as many beers as he wanted to choose the right one and I had a glass of wine. I was pleased they had Moscato, not many restaurants do. Really, no complaints here, we'd definitely try them again when we're out at the casino. If you're staying or dropping in to gamble give them a chance and don't sleep on this spot.“

“Visited from STL this past weekend and this place blew me and my friends away. I had ordered the Q burger with a side of macaroni and it was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten, period. It was so good that despite only being in town for the weekend, we considered eating there again right before we had to drive back but ultimately left it at 1 visit. This just gives me something to look forward to the next time I decide to visit KC, and I’d say it’s a must-try restaurant for anyone passing through.“

“Lonnie's Reno Club serves up fantastic jazz with great food and a positive vibe. The staff is super friendly, and the food is top-notch. Trust me, you won't find an experience like this anywhere, and Lonnie's talent is unmatched. Definitely worth going – you won't be let down. We have been 4 times and will be back again soon. Every time is such a different experience. I really can't say enough great things about this show, it is my favorite and I have been to a lot of shows :)“

“We love Scott's Kitchen! Everything we have eaten has been delicious - tacos, bowls, beef, chicken, turkey - all of it! They have a variety of heat levels so everyone can find what suits them. Staff is friendly, patient, and helpful in answering questions and serving. The temperature in the dining area is really cold (in my opinion) and the chairs are metal. If we are eating in, I need to remember to take something to sit on just to warm it up! There are outside seating options if the weather is good, as well as carryout.“

“A typical, quick, breakfast place with the usual selection of breakfast fare except no hashbrowns offered.Service was excellent - staff asked if I was new to the area as "it's usually a local spot".Wheelchair accessibility: Normal sized doorways, however not sure if automatic doors openers were present.“

“11/10. Incredible experience from start to finish. Food: Phenomenal. The ingredients are mainly locally sourced and the menu is Missouri farm-to-table concept essentially - SO well executed. The menu is elevated, unique & cool, yet *totally* accessible to those who may be less adventurous eaters, etc. Perfect balance. Appetizers: we had the Housemade rolls & chili butter, the smoked ricotta spread topped w/ sweet cherry & red pepper jelly w/ fried saltine crackers (my fav!), and the country ham and rice arancini - all amazing. Entrees: We had the pasta with house made Ricotta cappelletti braised Rabbit (we ordered a half-size portion, might have been my fav dish of the night!), rainbow trout, Pickled chicken thighs & tenderloins, and Pork chop. All were PERFECT, our table was raving. The cocktail menu: Delicious, we all had different house specialty cocktails and loved them all.Service: Knocked it out of the park. They were very busy and had a minor delayed start to service, and without prompting they came to our table with several beautiful, complimentary appetizers “for our trouble” for the initially slightly delayed service which was SO generous, extremely classy and unexpected. ❤️ Their waitstaff was so knowledgeable, attentive/above and beyond, and just lovely.Price: SO reasonable for the level of fine dining, quality, and portions they serve. Yes, you can get a pricey (but exquisite looking) dry-aged steak & expensive bottle of wine if you’re looking for a $$$ experience, but you can have an absolutely accessibly-priced upscale dinner here as well, easily.Highly Recommend this place for any special occasion, date night, dinner with friends, or just anytime you want a guaranteed amazing meal. Thank you to the Chef, and their whole staff! We will be back for sure.“

“We (Me, wife, and daughter) were there for lunch. My wife and I shared The Pig Flatbread and ordered my daughter fries and chicken tenders. We flatbread was delicious! My daughter normally doesn’t eat anything from a restaurant except fries or bread. We tried the chicken tenders just in case she changed her mind. She tried the chicken along with their housemade ketchup, which she typically rejects sauce, and she loved it. We ordered drinks and they were good too. The chef/owner greeted us at the end which was a nice end to lunch. Our waiter and hostess were great as well. Overall, it was a five star experience!“

“We had only been to Rockhille Grilel once before and didn't have a great experience. Buuuut, we decided to give it another try during their Happy Hour. I got their Bruschetta and it was the BEST I've ever eaten and so delightfully plated. Simple, yet classic. Our server, Trevor was EXCELLENT. The Rockhill Grille will DEFINITELY be on our, "regular" list“

“My grandmother and I came in early in the evening. We were guided to a table almost immediately despite not having a reservation and the seat was nice because we got a good view of everything happening around us. Our server went above and beyond: constantly checking in if we needed anything and asking how the food tasted as well as boxing up our food for us. The food was extraordinarily delicious, definitely not store bought sauce! I kept thinking how I’d love to bring more of my family in the future. Thank you for a great meal and excellent service!“

“The other BK as we call it. Love it. We had brunch this morning and it was wonderful. Our server Paul was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Been here for dinner several times and it's always great. Will definitely be back for brunch! Sorry I forgot to take photos of our food at restaurant. I'm posting what's left of my delicious breakfast sandwich. Husband had an omelette.Btw be careful what ketchup you choose. They have 3 different flavors.“

“Nick and Jake’s was amazing! The food was awesome but their customer service was top notch. You just don’t find that anymore and they were great. The check in staff, server and management (Jake) were all awesome! Thank you for a great experience, we will definitely be back!“

“Food was really good. Service was quirky and attentive. My only complaint about anything was the lighting. They have weird blue lights that (see picture) make it difficult to read the menu and see the food. I had to guess a lot about the flavors. This was on the back patio. I'll be back but I'm bringing my glasses next time.“

“I wish I could give this place 6 stars. They deserve it. Me and the wife tried the one down in Dallas and loved it so when we found out there was one closer. We wanted to try it too, and today was the day. They was extremely flexible with our reservation (originally made for 730, they us change it to 6.)The server was great, friendly and professional and made awesome suggestions. The manager came out to let us know that one of the meals was over done, so it was going to be a few more minutes, and offered us free salads or soups. My wife had the lamb, which we both would recommend 100% I had the filet this time which was equally good. I had the Asparagus soup, which reminded me of a richer broccoli and cheese soup. We also had the Ahi Tartare, normally not my thing, but wanted to try something different, it didn't disappoint, if you like Ahi, I'd recommend.“

“Lily was a great server from the time we walked in and made sure that our party of 4 large firefighters got sat at a table instead of the booth that the hostess was taking us to. Then she kept our drinks full, was very attentive with food in every detail. Thanks for caring about your customers Lily, keep up the good work!“

“In the city's heart lies a gem where cuisine is elevated to art. The restaurant, with its modern, clean lines, exudes confidence and sophistication, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. Our journey here was remarkable, thanks to the kitchen's inventive use of ingredients, turning each dish into a visually stunning and deliciously surprising masterpiece. The service was another highlight, with attentive staff enhancing our enjoyment and making us feel part of the restaurant's family. A special mention goes to our second night at the Chef's counter, where friendly banter and culinary insights enriched our meal. This isn't just a place to eat; it's where food becomes an experience, blending taste, presentation, and warmth into something unforgettable. If you're looking for a vegetarian meal that will impress and delight, this restaurant is your destination.“

“Very cool room hidden off the alley. Had an Italian Beef (Jim's Beef) and had low expectations. Being from Chicago I was a bit snobby about anyone else outside of the Windy City doing an IB right. My apologies. Great sandwich. The bread was perfect. Tender, juicy meat. Giardiniera nice and spicy. My only gripe would be the lack of fries as a side. I had the jalepeno slaw and it was good, but fries are the natural side to a lovely beef. Will be back.“

“Absolutely love Brewers Kitchen. Staff is extremely friendly, local beer selection is fantastic and the food is nothing short of amazing. Ive had just about every thing on the menu in the last 6 months of visiting and have never been disappointed. Their house made Honey Mustard is exceptional and wish I could buy gallons of it for back home it's that good. The food really is the star of the show, you can tell nothing is frozen and everything is fresh and made to order. If you want the best burger in KC, you need to come in to Brewers Kitchen.“

“Found Sunrise on a map search for "brunch," and so glad it turned up! The modest fare is super delish, and the laid-back atmosphere is perfect for a chill midday meal. Our server Angel was the most impressive part though. He is passionate about the place and its menu, checked in on us at magical just-right intervals, and even wrapped up our leftovers himself. Seriously grateful for his recommendations and obvious enthusiasm for his workplace! We will 100% go back regularly. Pic of the veggie burrito that I had with perfectly-roasted potatoes. My guy is a big fan of bloody Marys and says that they are simple but tasty.“

“I really love this restaurant! There's usually always good service whenever I have come here. Sometimes it can get pretty busy, but there are enough waiters to balance the rush. The ambiance is lowkey and even intimate, but comfortable and not too presumptuous. It is a nice place to enjoy a meal with another person or a small group of people, like family. The food is amazing, I have never eaten a bad meal here. I especially love the Cajun Tortellini, I could never get tired of that delectable flavor! The salmon was fantastic as well. Perfect texture and a great side of garlic whipped potatoes. Delicious! I wish I came here more often, honestly.“

“You know this is my favorite place. But Ubering or calling in really sucks. I ordered a BLT and got a really thin piece of lettuce. Whenever o order extra stuff. I never get my moneys worth. Except 1 time. I ordered fruit with the kids meal. I got holindaise sauce. IJS. I probably should just dine in. I can’t get the order taken right or my food prepared right. If so just do order anything extra. Especially through Uber or Dood dash. 5 ⭐️ if eating in.Vegetarian options: There are options“

“Great dining experience! We sat at the chef’s counter and it was so cool to sit in front of the fire and watch all the food being made. The waitress was friendly and professional and made some great recommendations. She recommended 5-6 plates for the two of us. I highly recommend starting with the Clara Bow rolls. They are as good as everyone says they are. The croquettes and the bone marrow were also two of our favorites, but every dish was amazing and well presented. Overall, we may have found a new favorite restaurant in KC. Can’t wait to go back. Be sure to makes reservations as the place was quite busy. Also, check out the hotel bar if you have some time before or after.Update: We’ve been back several times now. You can’t go wrong here. Everything is amazing! Highly recommend!“
“My husband and I, along with four friends, enjoyed an evening at The Puttery on Saturday and weren't disappointed. It is well executed, and we were greeted immediately by our Concierge, David, who was superb at making sure we had everything we needed. He checked on us frequently. The ambience is very cool with spectacular lighting, artwork and dark wood. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into it, and expense seemed to be no problem. We ordered chips and dips and a charcuterie board, which were filling and delicious. The charcuterie board, in particular, was five star and plentiful for six people. Drinks were very good too. Hats off to the kitchen and the bartender. They definitely know what they're doing. We had a blast playing miniature golf...some courses are more interesting than others, but hearing the crowd hooting and hollering by a missed putt or a hole-in-one added to the excitement of the evening. We'd definitely go back. It's such a great addition to Kansas City.“

“The atmosphere catches your attention right as you come in. Very unique. The staff are really nice, smiling, well informed and attentive. The food is excellent. We had the CA roll which was nicely done. The tartare was very unique. Yummy but a little messy to wrap your own. The cod is one of the best I've ever eaten in KC. That alone will bring me back. We all shared the brownie, crispy outside, gooey in. Warm and yummy. Their wine list is paired very nicely with their menu. Lots of trendy restaurants in KC lately that are just so so, this one is a keeper.Parking: They have their own lot next to their building“

“The hype is real, people!!! Best burger in Kansas City…? ABSOLUTELY! Tuesday is the best day to go, they have a 2-for-1 deal on the mini market burger (which is a 5.5 oz burger). It’s a nice, decently thick patty, cooked to order, add the cheese, add the bacon, and when you pick it up at the counter, you put on all the fixins. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very chill. They’ve got a bunch of games: pool, pinball, etc. Very, VERY awesome place. **CASH ONLY**“

“We were staying at the Hampton Inn downtown and were looking for a good restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. The city market area has about a dozen restaurants to choose from, so we chose this one. It was an excellent choice. The restaurant is very bright due to having a lot of windows, as well as many light fixtures inside. We started with the shrimp toast appetizer, and it was outstanding. It contained toasted pieces of baguette covered in gold shrimp, moray, chives, Sriracha, nuox Cham cauliflower, and sesame crunch. I could just eat that dish again for my dinner. For entrees, we had the Bahn MI sandwich and the grilled quail. The Bahn MI consisted of pork meatballs, bacon pate, pickled vegetables, chili aioli, banana ketchup, chili oil and cilantro. It was very flavorful but a little spicy. My husband had the grilled quail. He loved it. It was accompanied by ginger-lime fried rice. We would definitely return.“

“I was in downtown yesterday and had to try something different, and so I opted to try this KC Mac place. I looked at the menu and the siracha mac and cheese with honey sounded really good and it was. I was not disappointed with my choice. I did only pick up from this store. The store itself is very small and I don't believe it's ideal to sit and eat. This is definitely a good option for people who work downtown and want a hearty lunch.“
