“Y’all, this place has the best prime rib in town. It’s a fair price with a good portion. Cooked and seasoned to perfect perfection. The little Switzerland Cafe has found their niche. The service has gotten so much better. I also love that they support our local musicians and artist. It’s just a great place to be. Give it a try if you haven’t. Oh don’t forget the tomato basil soup it is also perfection. You all can thank me later :)”

“Countryside is one of our favorite restaurants in Marion! We moved here last winter and every time we visit, the service is quick and the food is hot and fresh. We love that we never have to wait or ask for the check, they leave it every single time on the table so you can check out up front whenever you’re done eating. They always check on us when our food is delivered to make sure we have everything we need and often the servers are mind readers and bring a side of ranch and gravy when they deliver my chicken tenders & ask if I’d like either. I don’t have to ask them and wait for them to bring it to me. Not often do many restaurant do this so it stood out to me! I also love that they leave a pitcher of the beverage you order on the table so that if you’re engaging with friends or family, we can help ourselves to refills and they don’t have to worry about interrupting a party or neglecting them. As a couple who has spent years in hospitality and the service industry, we absolutely appreciate all of the thoughtfulness that goes into their day to day and will always keep coming back for the great food & service!”

“We had the absolute best experience at Keeper’s Cut Meadery in Marion. Kathryn and the entire team were so welcoming, kind, and accommodating to our women’s networking group. They allowed us to truly take over the evening, and everything was handled with such warmth, professionalism, and hospitality.
The mead tasting was fantastic. They did an excellent job explaining the history of mead, the different flavors, and the process behind everything, all while keeping the atmosphere lighthearted and fun with great humor throughout the evening.
The venue itself is absolutely beautiful — warm, inviting, and full of character. It created the perfect setting for meaningful conversations and connection.
We are so appreciative of the generosity they showed our group, and we will absolutely be back. Highly recommend visiting Keeper’s Cut Meadery if you are anywhere near Marion, NC.”

“Nice place for breakfast with some unique, homemade Mexican items that you don’t normally see on the menu. My wife and I stuck to the traditional breakfast foods (pancakes with bacon, omelette and hash browns) and they were delicious! Our waitress was also exceptional - she knew it was our first time there and she spent the time to explain everything. Definitely will be on our regular breakfast stops!”

“First time visit on Saturday. Deciding factor was to see my ole boss Bob Frisbee and here the music. I am not much on Coffee, but my friend John Owen is. However, I could get addicted to the frozen coffee drink I had x 2. And John enjoyed the chocolate flavored coffee. We will be back for the coffee and more of the entertainment. Nice surroundings. Friendly staff. Definitely a plus for the city of Marion!”

“We ate here for the first time traveling through the area, and it did not disappoint. We came hungry after hiking nearby Catawba Falls, and left looking forward to the next visit! Excellent creole pasta (added shrimp) and chicken alfredo, both were perfect! Extremely friendly staff and the owners visited the table three times during the visit to check on us. Get there early, the line of dedicated customers was forming quickly when we left (6:30’ish).”

“I had never eaten at Godfather's Pizza because there is not one in my city. I found out there is one in a town about 20 miles from my home. Yesterday I went directly there after church. I am originally from NYC and a huge pizza snob. I have to tell you that Godfather's Pizza is a contender! Try it! You'll LOVE it.”

“Just a fantastic place. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Kyle was hanging up lights during our visit. He really cared a lot about the place. You can see he loves to host events for his customers and wants every experience to be a five start experience. Ashley was kind also she was great at quickly delivering our food and the drinks were great. Bobby in the back making the food maintained a clean appearance and perfectly delivered meals quickly in a brick stone oven for our pizza. 10/10 experience.”

“I recommend eating at Japanese Express. The restaurant has many delicious food choices. For example, the chicken fried rice is the best in Marion! Also, the servers are very nice. They are very friendly to everyone. The restaurant offers easy online ordering. You can use Door Dash to have your food delivered.
For these reasons, I think Japanese Express is a restaurant you should try.”

“From the moment I walked in I was welcomed in by the DM Caleb (hope I got the name right) and instantly greeted by Matt the store manager. We were traveling from Asheville they corrected our previous drink problem from another store no questions asked. The entire staff went above and beyond to connect and chat with me. Superb service making sure I left with the drink I ordered and uplifted my mood to truly make my day better going forward. Highly reccommend this store as a stop on your trip through the area of if you're lucky enough to live in this area make this your go to coffee stop! Love meeting good poeple who take pride in what they do and make it about more than just good coffee. They earned a return customer in me.”

“I love this restaurant!! More than anything in specific the cashier on morning shift (I believe) , she’s always so sweet , wears glasses , always has the prettiest eyelashes. Not only is her hospitality sweet, there’s been times where I’ve placed a take out with the afternoon shift and it’s not the same..
The girl on morning shift always makes sure we have utensils, napkins and makes sure our food is nice and neat.. as to where afternoon shift the food is messy and seems like it’s been swung around , also never get utensils.. Also whenever I come in and Dine In she’s always very nice seating and checking out. If service is not good that day she definitely makes up for it .. Not talking bad about anyone just giving recognition the girl deserves 👍. Asides the food being amazing the music and atmosphere is always very home style. Nice job everyone”

“The best compliment I can give is this Marion Zaxbys doesn’t look or feel like a fast food restaurant. The manager and staff were incredibly friendly and professional (both in how they conversed but also appearance) and the food was great. The restaurant was also also very clean!”

“There’s this girl that works there that makes the most exquisite, bodacious, outstanding drinks I have ever had! Her name was corry, if you go there request for corry to make your drink. That’s the only way it’s good. Everytime I go into Ingles, corrys smile is contagious. I’ve even learned her hours so i can only get good drinks. Please train all workers to be like corry ♥️♥️.”
