“Today we had a hard/stressful day my whole family of 5 were starving and decided to stop in for food. The lady at counter was nice and caring, treating us as if we were her own family. Everyone else made sure we were being helped and so friendly. It was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. Best part was the food. Everything we got was delicious but the BBQ Fries were on point, none left just empty trays. We will be making more trips back just to eat at the Switzerland Cafe and it’s over an hour drive but worth it. Also we had our dog and they offered a water bowl for him as well as 2 medium dog biscuits. 5 Stars all the way!”

“I’m probably a little biased, but this is “the best” little diner around!! Great food, great service, sure!! But, what makes it “the best” is the people!! They make you feel like “family” (even if it’s your first time there), everybody knows everybody!! It’s a great place to just slow down relax and enjoy a few minutes of great food and “small town” hospitality!!”

“We stopped at Eddie's close to closing and they cheerfully welcomed us in. The service was fantastic and the food was even better! The family that owns and operates Eddie's introduced themselves and were very down-to-earth and pleasant to talk to. The warm bread was amazing, each pasta dish we tried was excellent, and our salads were crisp and fresh. This place just went to the top of my list for favorite Italian places. I can't wait to try more of the menu!”

“Countryside is one of our favorite restaurants in Marion! We moved here last winter and every time we visit, the service is quick and the food is hot and fresh. We love that we never have to wait or ask for the check, they leave it every single time on the table so you can check out up front whenever you’re done eating. They always check on us when our food is delivered to make sure we have everything we need and often the servers are mind readers and bring a side of ranch and gravy when they deliver my chicken tenders & ask if I’d like either. I don’t have to ask them and wait for them to bring it to me. Not often do many restaurant do this so it stood out to me! I also love that they leave a pitcher of the beverage you order on the table so that if you’re engaging with friends or family, we can help ourselves to refills and they don’t have to worry about interrupting a party or neglecting them. As a couple who has spent years in hospitality and the service industry, we absolutely appreciate all of the thoughtfulness that goes into their day to day and will always keep coming back for the great food & service!”

“Normally very good food, and service but tonight ordered my useual pineapple acp to go, it was late granted about 9:15 but took the food home and not even one chunk of pineapple! it ruined my meal!”

“What a relaxing place to enjoy a Mead Tasting! Anthony was very informative as he served our tasting. We stayed for a Mediterranean wrap and a Turkey sandwich both served with pasta salad! Everything was delicious and the environment was very peaceful. Thanks for a great experience!”

“First time visit on Saturday. Deciding factor was to see my ole boss Bob Frisbee and here the music. I am not much on Coffee, but my friend John Owen is. However, I could get addicted to the frozen coffee drink I had x 2. And John enjoyed the chocolate flavored coffee. We will be back for the coffee and more of the entertainment. Nice surroundings. Friendly staff. Definitely a plus for the city of Marion!”

“This place is a cute little casual restaurant that serves simple food. I got the taco salad for lunch and it was quite good. I will definitely try other things on the menu. My only criticism is that the hours are hard to keep track of, especially on Google. They also don’t have any updated online menus. I took some pics of the food and the menu.”

“We ate here for the first time traveling through the area, and it did not disappoint. We came hungry after hiking nearby Catawba Falls, and left looking forward to the next visit! Excellent creole pasta (added shrimp) and chicken alfredo, both were perfect! Extremely friendly staff and the owners visited the table three times during the visit to check on us. Get there early, the line of dedicated customers was forming quickly when we left (6:30’ish).”

“One of the best burgers you will eat! We regularly travel from Bakersville just to come there to eat. They give you a large portion of french fries as well. The only pet peve is they are VERY stingy with the ketchup, i got 1 pack with my meal and i asked for some extra,,,, they gave 2 extra packets, thats about 6 packets short for the amount of fries you get, i understand that some people are wasteful but I guess I'm going to have to bring my own bottle with me. Overall a great place to eat and will continue making the trip when I'm craving a great burger.”

“I had never eaten at Godfather's Pizza because there is not one in my city. I found out there is one in a town about 20 miles from my home. Yesterday I went directly there after church. I am originally from NYC and a huge pizza snob. I have to tell you that Godfather's Pizza is a contender! Try it! You'll LOVE it.”

“I go out of my way to stop at Mica town every time I drive past Marion. The fun vibe and constantly rotating selections makes it a great stop for any beer enjoyer. The space is small enough to be intimate but open enough to be welcoming. If you like beer and small town vibes you'd be hard-pressed to find a better brewery”

“I recommend eating at Japanese Express. The restaurant has many delicious food choices. For example, the chicken fried rice is the best in Marion! Also, the servers are very nice. They are very friendly to everyone. The restaurant offers easy online ordering. You can use Door Dash to have your food delivered.
For these reasons, I think Japanese Express is a restaurant you should try.”

“From the moment I walked in I was welcomed in by the DM Caleb (hope I got the name right) and instantly greeted by Matt the store manager. We were traveling from Asheville they corrected our previous drink problem from another store no questions asked. The entire staff went above and beyond to connect and chat with me. Superb service making sure I left with the drink I ordered and uplifted my mood to truly make my day better going forward. Highly reccommend this store as a stop on your trip through the area of if you're lucky enough to live in this area make this your go to coffee stop! Love meeting good poeple who take pride in what they do and make it about more than just good coffee. They earned a return customer in me.”

The best always there food is delicious never once disappointed in any thing I have eaten there and I think I have tried just about everything especially the breakfasts. The gravy is to die for absolutely home made just the way my mother and grandmother made there's. Pricing is really good not expensive. The waitress know you when you come in the door. Very very nice people thatvwork there. I will not eat breakfast anywhere else.”

“I love the shrimp fajitas (dinner size). I pick up food to-go a lot and have been for 5 years. My orders are always right and big portions, they always remember plastic forks, napkins ect and they’re happy to let you get salsa from the salsa bar.”

“There’s this girl that works there that makes the most exquisite, bodacious, outstanding drinks I have ever had! Her name was corry, if you go there request for corry to make your drink. That’s the only way it’s good. Everytime I go into Ingles, corrys smile is contagious. I’ve even learned her hours so i can only get good drinks. Please train all workers to be like corry ♥️♥️.”
