Jasmine and her entire crew are absolutely phenomenal—not only is the food incredible, but the hospitality is second to none. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family and can tell they truly care about their customers and the community.

The burgers are out of this world. Honestly, they’ll make a cheeseburger so good it could make a vegetarian jealous. And if you are vegetarian, they’ve got fantastic options for you too. Every meal is made with care, packed with flavor, and served with a smile.

If you’re looking for amazing burgers, great beer, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back, Barcelona Burger is the place to be. Winston-Salem is lucky to have them. I can’t recommend them enough—do yourself a favor and stop by Bailey Park for an unforgettable experience thought that I thought that was the one that you get would”

“I have now eaten at New Sichuan three times. My opinion is that New Sichuan is the best authentic and Americanized Chinese food in Winston-Salem and I have tried lots. The place is spotless with a near perfect sanitation record. The service is quick and friendly. The food is served quickly. On our most recent visit my son had Beef with Diced Hot pepper which he judged to be very good. If you like Americanized Chinese food I can highly recommend their General Tso's Chicken. It is a huge portion and it is likely the best that I have ever eaten. The egg rolls are served piping hot. General's Chicken, an egg roll, water and tip comes to just over $20.00. I highly recommend New Sichuan. The rice even sticks together so you can eat it with a chopstick.”

“Me and my husband ordered the tikka biryani and combo over rice. The food was amazing; We’ve been to all the halal food trucks in the triad and this is by far the best. Would definitely recommend.

I sent my husband back for more. The biryani taste totally different. You can’t take a bite without biting into a “whole spice.” While it’s traditional; the first time it was not packed with spices. It has a very bitter taste today. I would not recommend due to inconsistency.”

BethAnn, was the main bartender and she was great! 10/10 recommend sitting at the bar seats with her.. I didn’t catch the trainee’s name but she was older twenties, dark hair…she was equally as nice and funny. They were the best part of our experience the good food was just a plus.”

The owners of What Da Pho opened Xia’s about a year ago, and so far, it’s demonstrated staying power. It’s a handsome space inside and out. As expected given its origins, Xia’s menu skews Vietnamese (pho, banh mi, fresh rolls, and lettuce wraps), but there are Chinese influences as well. That menu isn’t terribly large, but it does offer a good deal of versatility, including vegetarian options.

My wife and I went with steamed dumplings followed by short ribs and garlic green beans with beef and rice. The flavors were excellent across the board. The green beans were sharply garlicky without overwhelming the palate while the ribs offered lemongrass notes and a hint of sweetness. The dumplings will make it hard to go back to the frozen version any time soon.

Service was friendly and generally attentive. Our group of four ended up receiving dishes at different times, a possible product of the “small plates” concept blurring the distinction between courses. Speaking of which, expect small portions, especially for the near-entree prices paid. Nothing was outrageous, but a “come hungry and fill up” joint this is not.

If you can look past that limitation, Xia’s Asian Tapas offers tasty food in an attractive location. Provided you aren’t famished, it’s worth checking out.”

“My husband and I love Indian food. We are new to town and was told Nawab was the place to go! It exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back. The staff was the friendliest we have ever seen, the food had beautiful presentation and was delicious. We will be back again and again!”

“Pretty solid stuff. I ordered the sirloin and it was basically perfect. Fried green tomatoes were perfect… and I’m not even a huge fan of tomatoes in the first place. Attentive staff, great drinks, and good atmosphere.

The only reason I’m taking off one star is due to whatever happened with a couple of our dishes that had scallops in them. I’m not sure if the scallops went bad or had some sort of food-grade additive on them, but the scallops tasted like rubbing alcohol. Not an exaggeration. When we mentioned this to our server, the managers were very attentive and took a sample of both scallop dishes to test them out, and offered a replacement of either the entire dish or more shrimp to replace the scallops. Never figured out what was wrong with them in the end but the rest of the dish was just fine. I’m not saying to avoid the scallops, as it was likely just a bad batch! It was a great show of care from the restaurant and I would recommend this place regardless.”

I had the 14oz ribeye cooked medium. Cooked perfectly... I had the asparagus also with a side of Brussel sprouts. Everything was good. Will be wifey and I date night spot. If you’re not in a hurry and you don’t care how your eggs are cooked or how long it is between the arrival of your eggs and hash browns until your ham shows up or your waffle makes it to the table then this is the place for you - but not at the bar counter because it hasn’t been wiped since the morning shift cleared out and the waitress isn’t happy about being asked to clean it. The food was good even though it came in shifts, the service was minimal as was the server’s personality and the prices were reasonable.”

I had one yesterday afternoon as I have been waiting for the release of this new burger (as a burger connoisseur) ☺️. It exceeded my expectations. The burger patties were seasoned just right. The buns were soft. The tangy sauce, crispy onions, and white cheddar took this over the edge! I would definitely have another one in the near future. However, it is such a huge burger that once you eat one, you will not eat anything else for the remainder of the day 😂 McDonalds needs to keep this iconic burger on the menu indefinitely!!”

This bakery does ‘Amish style’ baked goods so I was really looking forward to trying them but also peeking inside of their culture a bit while in the store. Although the staff is friendly, no one seemed to explain the menu items, greet customers, and so forth. Even though the owners were there, they didn’t engage with customers or create the sense of community I thought they would have. The food is good, but the atmosphere is a little uncertain and uncomfortable, esp if you’re by yourself. I recommend this place to try, but it’s no where I would go twice.”

My only complain is the garlic knots; I’ve never had wetter garlic knots, it was like biting into a sponge soaked in old garlic butter. My family loves any type of buttery bread anything but none of us found these palatable. I’d never order the garlic knots again, but the pizza is delicious with exciting topping combinations that are hard to find elsewhere.”

“We’ve eaten at taco mama numerous times ,they’re a little on pricey side but good! Never had problem until yesterday, we waited for them to open so we could place a Togo order for lunch. Ordered barbecue burrito meal , meat was over cooked ,dry had nothing but meat and a lot of meat in burrito they left everything else off that was supposed to be in burrito. Chips were soggy ,no salsa and no guacamole . Ordered shrimp soft & hard tacos they were soggy had two pieces shrimp in each taco no sauce ,they left off guacamole, rice was dry and plain. Idk if they just weren’t ready when they opened but food was not up to there normal standards! Not sure if we will be back for money spent for lunch def not worth it.”

“Had the waiter from hell! 6/10 about 7:30/8pm. had the nerve to ask if I had ever eaten out before young curly haired guy with a diva attitude. The waiter mentioned he was having a bad day after the "Shelby came out of me"...I guess a bad day was what he was serving as well even if we just wanted shrimp tacos....I didn't get the tacos...I just got a bad day...then went to Burger King 👑 had it my way. I'll cook my own tacos tomorrow! Don't eat at Mi Pueblo on Stratford road. We couldn't even complain because the manager had to get translation from Lucifer....our waiter.... eat popcorn PBJ sandwich even if you're allergic to PBJ just don't go there.”

“Place is solid. Small downtown spot so parking can be difficult to figure out but when you finally make it in the interior is bright and relaxed. Food is great and I can't praise it enough. Everything from the burgers, subs, and shakes are completely vegan so please don't waste time asking if any single ingredient is vegan. They have various house made lemonades available and, while the food is pricey, they have a March special of a specific burger, fries, drink, and two cookies for 15 bucks. Makes it easier to be a regular with deals like that. Rewards program too for regulars.
Only consistent gripe is the floor is always sticky. Just a sensory thing for me but I still come anyway.”

I never tried Boba before but after coming here? It’s my favorite! Nita is an absolute sweetheart here. She is so kind, friendly, and you can't help but feel happy when talking with her. I HIGHLY recommend this place, especially their macaroons. My favorite is the chocolate.”

They consistently have themed days (video games, vinyl, May Day, watch parties etc...). Family friendly - great place to meet up with old friends or meet new ones. Overall, a great place to relax with a variety of food truck selections each day. Hard to find any other places like this! (Oh...and they have a revolving tap and cans of delicious alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks haha)”
