“I had the pleasure of visiting for the first time for brunch today, and I can confidently say the service was amazing! Our waitress was phenomenal—I'm so sorry I don’t remember your name, but I truly owe you more for making the experience so memorable. Highly, highly recommend this place! The food was absolutely astronomical, and the drinks were perfect. The coffee was out of this world, too—hands down the best meal I've had in a long time. The overall atmosphere was so comfy, cozy, and relaxed—it’s the perfect spot to unwind. I’ll definitely be back!”
“Don’t get here too much but every time it’s always so good. Always try to taste something new!”
“I have been here twice and each time the food has been to die for! The atmosphere is very sexy, the bar is stunning with the ginkgo tree and the service is impeccable! I will be back with my husband soon!”
“My fiancé made reservations for my birthday! It was super special! We sat at the bar until our table was ready! The bartender was awesome! Super knowledgeable and it was apparent she loved her job! When we were seated at our table, we were seated at the Brother’s table room. Each room has a different theme. The setting was very intimate and romantic. I ordered the Filet Sebastian and Jeremy ordered the New York Pepper Strip. The meals were AMAZING! The adult drinks were yummy and for dessert, we ordered the flamming baked Alaska! Everything was perfect and our waitress was super friendly! It was the best Birthday dinner I ever had! I would recommend this restaurant a million times over! You will not be disappointed! Thank you to all of the staff that made my birthday dinner special!”

“Meticulously crafted for the perfect experience. Every time I come to Yoshitomo I am blown away by incredible food, excellent service, and a setting that takes you far away from the humdrum of Omaha. If you get the chance, sit at the bar to watch the most beautiful of the dishes be prepared, and don’t miss the phenomenal KV kama or the Royale roll.”
“Fresh ingredients, lovely atmosphere, very nice waitstaff. We had a group of six for lunch and everything was delicious. We ordered the spread plate (yum), just about all of the mezzes (super yum) and the salmon to share (divine)! Every bite was flavorful and each dish was beautifully plated. The beef dumplings, eggplant, and beets were all favorites. Tequila cocktail with pomegranate was just lovely. Everything was just SO good. Will be returning.”

“This was the best restaurant from our vacation to the Omaha area. It started with walking in and immediately being greeted with menus. The food was phenomenal but the customer service was even better (if that’s possible). We were so pleased with the family owned business and chatting with the owner. I loved how she came and talked to every table that was here. My son and boyfriend highly recommend the brisket.”
“ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We visited from out-of-state. If we lived closer we would be eating there often!!!!! The owner is such a great cook and so kind.”
“Delicious food even togo. Cashew chicken, 7 spice.”
“Celebrated my birthday here this year . The Hunter duckling was fabulous! Tender and crispy . Very large portion as well. I would definitely return”
“I ran across talk about izzys and had been wanting to try it. I finally had the chance to do so today. The pizza was delicious and even after a 2.5 hour car ride home, the crust was still as crispy as it was in store. They make a quality pizza and I got the feeling that they genuinely care about their product and the customers. I don't think it will be long and they will outgrow the current building.”
“Our first trip to Gather couldn’t have gone better. The host, Steve was super accommodating in seating us. I appreciated the table farther away from the majority of the business as it was quieter and more intimate. Our waitress, Cathleen was extremely helpful and super friendly, even giving our oldest daughter individualized attention without being annoying like a lot of servers are when we are trying to enjoy a night out as a family. The brussel sprouts were fantastic. I don’t know if I’ll ever eat them without cranberries again; who would have known. They added such a pop of brightness to the dish. My wife had the pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Wagyu flat iron with Chimichurri, and where so many restaurants fail, they succeeded in having a well-balanced sauce that wasn’t overly acidic and provided a welcomed heat to the dish. Loved the elote corn which was kept warm the entire meal having been served in its own skillet. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which was very good, and even the chicken strips we ordered for our daughter was a shelf above any other restaurant. My daughter loved the donut holes and the birthday cake they prepared, although simple, was surprisingly delicious. They even do the simple things well! By far, the best dessert was the Strawberry-Basil sorbet; such a fresh and delightful way to end the meal. One of the things that stuck out to me most was the attention we got from the manager, Tony. Most of the time you see managers walking around, it feels like they are just “doing their job,” but this guy was bringing food out to customers, checking in with tables, assisting in any way he could, and genuinely looked liked he loved being there. He checked on a few questions we had about the food and he also gave special attention to our daughter which definitely elevated her experience. The service, food, atmosphere and getting to see their Hydroponic garden make this a must visit! Will definitely be back.”

“That was completely unexpected and just DELICIOUS. We went on a Saturday evening based on fantastic Google reviews and they were NOT WRONG! Mexican street food with global influences. Elote corn, Ramen Fries, Asado and Chilango Burrito. The Chilango burrito was the front runner but everything was soo flavorful. It isb ocated on the north side of the strip mall on the northwest side of 50th and L. It is not easily visible from the street. They apparently will be expanding into the next bay. It is very casual (order at the counter) but very clean. It is easily accessible with only a threshold and a swinging door. We spent $40 for 2 apps, two entrees, a soda and a beer. If I thought I could eat more food and live, I would have gotten the Tres Leches Cake. Strongly recommend!”

“Took my wife here for our anniversary. Food was awesome, service was incredible! Only problem was they ran out of the chocolate cake! Lol, we’ll definitely be back!”
“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Le Voltaire last night. It was our first time at the restaurant. We WILL be going back! The food was insanely delicious. When we took the first bites of our dishes (appetizers and entrees), my husband and I both closed our eyes and chewed in silence. Ha! Sadly, we couldn't stay for dessert as we didn't have enough time before our next scheduled event. The whole staff was genuinely welcoming. But our server, Lisa, was the absolute best! She was friendly and downright adorable. I'm sure all the other servers are great, but I would ask for Lisa when we go back. She helped make our experience that much more enjoyable.”
“Picture it. Omaha. 2004. A young couple enjoying a late-evening dinner, on a beautiful patio, at a restaurant in Dundee. She's enjoying the mac n cheese. He, the smoked chicken lasagna. Together, they enjoy three bottles of riesling, one chocolate dessert, and (because why not), a couple of cigars they purchased at a nearby shop. As you can guess, that "he", was ME. Twenty-one years later, I heard about "Ooh De Lally" opening in the same location. I perused the online menu, and was thrilled to see that they serve our favorite dishes from when it was the last place (Mark's Mac n Cheese, and the Smoked Chicken Lasagna). As you can imagine, it was a no-brainer to set up a surprise date night, with that same beautiful lady (now my wife of 19 years), on that same beautiful patio. Her Mark's Mac n Cheese, and my Smoked Chicken Lasagna were even more delicious then we remember. We each enjoyed the same house cocktail, "Tiki Me Away" (Planteray Pineapple Rum, Banana, Orgeat, Lime, Dark Rum Float & Firewater Bitters). For dessert, the love of my life enjoyed the Key Lime Tart, and I jammed on the whiskey bread pudding. Now here's where the restaurant hit the third part of the trifecta (food, atmosphere, & service). Our server, Kristin (aka, The Bob Ross of Sauce) took, what was already a wonderful evening, to a whole new level, with her charisma & personality. And it wasn't just Kristin, the entire staff took care of us and made us feel so welcome. This place is a gem. Patronize it often. Tell your friends about it. Put the word out on social media. Keep this place open. Read about it's mission, and you'll see it's good for the community, and it's good for humanity.”

“Bre was very patient, kind and helpful with us. She heard our grandson repeat crackers when she was talking to another person at the table who need crackers for their crab legs and when she brought those she also brought our grandson some crackers to eat. It was very sweet of her.
Parking: Plenty of parking
Kid-friendliness: Our waitress Bre was very helpful by bringing a bowl of cherries for our grandson. She spent time talking to him. She did a great job.”
“Can’t say enough good things about The Boiler Room! Such a beautiful, intimate environment with the friendliest servers and unbelievably talented staff. The presentation of each plate is like a piece of art. The chef and team’s food is some of the most mouthwatering, flavorful food you will ever eat!! Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Omaha. Can’t wait to go back again!!”
“Thank you to the staff at Carrabbas in Omaha for a memorable evening during the Director's Cut wine dinner! Angelica, Sam and Christina along with the pink cap chefs combined to ensure a great experience. Of particular excellence in addition to the wines, was the steak course. The filets were cooked to a perfect mid-rare and tender to the point of not needing a knife. Delicious!!”
“Absolutely delicious meal and excellent service! The bread was fabulous! I had the scallops and my hubs had the tenderloin. DELICIOUS and such a nice romantic atmosphere. Cocktails were amazing too!”

“Derrick at the Perkins located on 2545 Abbott Plaza is the reason we travel from west Omaha to eat out. His professional and customer service skills are consistent every time. These qualities coupled with his friendly, welcoming nature is the best I've seen in a long time in the many restaurants we frequent in the Omaha area. And it's apparent that his staff respects him with high regard. The food quality is also exceptional and adds to our great experience every single time. Thank you Derrick for everything you do.”
“I placed an order for birthday donuts for my son. I spoke with Lindsey who was extremely friendly and helpful. When I picked the donuts up the night before my son’s birthday (at a different Hurts donut location) they were not what I expected. I called Lindsey as I thought maybe there was confusion with the order. She went above and beyond and not only replaced the donuts but had them brought directly to us (and we aren’t located close to the store). When I opened the new box of donuts I cried because I was so overwhelmed with her and her staff doing everything they could to make the situation right and to ensure my kiddo woke up to some amazing personalized donuts.”
“If you want a Smash burger go here late at night when Zack and Maria are managing and working the grill. If Sonic wants to teach other stores how to do this burger right talk to these two!!!! I go to other sonics even this sonic and every time I'm disappointed. But man!!!! When Maria makes our Smash Burgers they are Amazing.”
“I’m not normally out at 2am and buying fast food, but staying in the Comfort Inn has my schedule a little off this week. So when I woke up I wasn’t sure what I was going to do, or where I was going to go, and I went next door to Burger King on a whim (at 2:30am on December 19th). I had the best interaction with the young man working the window. His attitude was outstanding, and should be the standard by which all your other employees work your windows. Seriously, that part is lacking in most of my other Burger King experiences during the day, and it was notable enough to type out a review for him at 3am before I go back to sleep! My best advice to you is to promote that man, and pay him well.”
“I want to say thank you to E the manager for having great customer service and showing my children that there is very nice people out there in the world. This gentlemen was very respectful, food was served quickly and he went beyond his duties to make sure my 4 children and 2 extra children had a good time at Burger King. My children left Burger King all excited saying they were going to tell their friends about E how nice he is. Thank you E for everything you did that day and even through you guys were short staff you took the time to take care of us.”
“I went there to order a pizza. Shea took my order, and when I asked about stuffed crust it was obvious that they did not offer this type of crust. That didn't stop Shea, she thought she could do it, never done one before but was willing to give it a shot. It is people like this that create return customers. The pizza was great, little too much sauce - says a guy who usually orders his pizza's sauceless. But, the willingness of Shae to even attempt it was the true value.”
“absolutely amazing in every way possible. cocktails were delicious, pizza more than amazing, service... more than you could ask for! and the pot was just so darn cute! we will definitely be back!”

“Seriously best lasagna I have ever had. I highly suggest everything else as well. We come here a lot , but the specials are different. This is the first time I was able to try the lasagna as they are always out by the time I get there. They are a great establishment !!!!”

“I’ve been to Dave’s hot chicken a few times, and I’ve loved it each visit. The restaurant is usually always busy, and you can expect to wait 20+ minutes for your food any given day. However, I recommend this restaurant still due to the great food they have there. The chicken is cooked perfectly with the best blend of spices and sauce. Come hungry, because you will get your money’s worth of food.”
“My wife and I were in town for the "Beyond Van Gogh" exhibit at the Mid-America Center. Afterward, we looked up restaurants near us and chose La Sierra because several reviews mentioned authentic cuisine. We were not misled. The menu is small and straight forward. Pick your fillings and choose it in either a gordita, burrito, quesadilla or on a plate. We both got selections as gorditas. My wife ordered: Asado De Puerco, Picadillo Verde and Picadillo Rojo. I ordered: Papas Con Carne, Papas Con Chorizo and Deshabrada. I also wound up getting a burrito with Machaca. All the meats were seasoned nicely and delicious. Both the verde and rojo salsas they brought out enhanced the food. The rojo does have a kick (same sauce as in the Desshbrada) but the heat didn't linger so eating it was enjoyable. The margarita I ordered was delicious, made with real lime juice. Some people might complain because it is regular sized, served in a glass roughly the size of a martini glass. It isn't a gigantic gimmick you find in a lot of American-Mexican restaurants. It hit the spot! The fruit empanadas were lovely, the crust similar to a sugar cookie with strawberry or apricot. We tried both and thought the apricot won by a hair. Its sweet flavor was slightly stronger than the strawberry. The service was excellent, both our server and the gentleman from the kitchen (maybe owner) who brought out food to the table were extremely friendly and a pleasure to speak with. We've marked La Sierra in our "must do again" list and when we care back in Omaha, we will be stopping in.”
“Cute place with plenty of seating. We were able to make a reservation online and get right in with two adults and a high chair. The waitress we had was very friendly and did a great job answering any questions and explaining the menu. We had the crab rangoons, everything smoked salmon, and 3 sushi rolls…all were delicious. We both really enjoyed our drinks as well. I would return!”
“Head Chef/Owner Anthony Kueper has set the bar high for other Omaha restaurants. His food is flavorful and unique. Chef Anthony has clearly honed his craft and deserves all the praise that can be mustered. Prices are excellent considering the quality of food and service. The unimposing facade of the building doesn't prepare you for the quaint elegance inside. You will not be disappointed with your experience here, regardless of which menu item you select. You really can't go wrong letting Chef surprise you with his tasting menu, either.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I never eat any pastries like this one; it reminds me of exactly the one in Europe; I feel I never left France. If you try it one time, you will never go back and buy any other pastry. I love coming on the weekend and getting the croissant and petit pain au chocolate, fresh from the day. Thank you, Grand Patisserie.”
“If you haven’t been to Smokin Barrel BBQ in Omaha yet, you’re missing out on some of the best barbecue in the city. Everything is cooked to perfection, tender, flavorful, and smoky in all the right ways. But the real star of my visit was John H. on the carving station. The guy is a master with the knife, slicing brisket like it’s an art form and serving it with a big smile. You can tell he takes pride in every single cut. Friendly, fast, and passionate about what he does. This is the kind of service and quality that will keep me coming back. Highly recommend!”

“The food was fantastic -- outstanding grilled fish, shrimp and tacos. Well worth a visit. And ask for Maggie -- a terrific server who made dinner even more enjoyable!”
“Went here today to try out their newest seasonal beers and omg! This is the ONLY place where I will drink a sour. Their cranberry sour was amazing. The Pecan Pie Brown Ale and the Stuffing beer were also very good. And it’s so nice that they have a couple of dairy/meat free options on their menu. We love this place!”
“Missed Happy Hour on a Tuesday, but ordered an IPA and tacos. Beer could have been colder. Tacos were excellent. Parking is somewhat difficult. Don't look up at ceiling--lots of dust around fans that are directly overhead. Dining room was closed because of leaks in roof.”
Fine Dining
“I thoroughly enjoyed the remarkable freshness of the fish and the unique experience of watching the chefs skillfully craft each piece of sushi. Without question, it is the finest and most exquisite sushi offering one can find in Omaha. However, while the quality of the food was outstanding, I am unsure if this was the best omakase experience I’ve ever had.
Omakase is meant to be a holistic experience, not just about the sushi itself but the ambiance and the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in this regard. The setting, though intimate, was disrupted by two couples whose loud, rowdy conversations overtook the compact space. Despite asking the server if anything could be done, the response was, “we will try,” which turned out no meaningful action was taken. This left the environment feeling like a chaotic bar and far from the serene, harmonious experiences I’ve had in Japan, where sushi can be savored in a tranquil setting.
Additionally, a 22% gratuity was added automatically, which didn’t sit well with us given the overall experience.
In conclusion, while the fish was undeniably fresh and the sushi among the best you can find in Omaha—perhaps the only truly authentic omakase experience in Nebraska—the lack of a more curated and serene atmosphere made it difficult for me to be fully satisfied.”
“One word, "Spicerita". Get the spicerita! the corned beef hash is amazing and so is the shrimp scampi. You won't be disappointed in this place!”
Cheap Eats
“We live close to Omaha tap house pepperwood and love love love their food and their service is top notch!!! As with any restaurant sometimes you’ll get something that isn’t quite right and they always seem to take care of their customers 5/5 stars! One of my favorite places in town to eat and the best burgers and wings around! Thank you again for being part of our community!!!”
“I love all of the speakeasy establishments that this company has to offer....Alice is The Wicked Rabbit but larger. Staff is more than willing to make you feel welcome. Mixologist bartenders that are younger. Get ready to be transported into a rabbit hole of an adventure. Had my Tarrot read last week. Drinks are well made. Nice place to escape this from world for awhile.”
“Reis Bakery: A Taste of Heaven! Reis Bakery truly lives up to its reputation as the best bakery around. Their pastries are nothing short of heavenly, each bite is a delightful experience. From delicate croissants to the rich and criminally decadent Kouign-amann the quality and flavor are consistently outstanding. A word to the wise: if you want the best selection, arrive early! Reis Bakery's popularity means their delicious treats often sell out quickly. But even if you miss out on your top pick, you're sure to find something equally amazing. Beyond the incredible pastries and bread, the owners and staff are always friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. It's easy to see why Reis Bakery is, by far, my favorite bakery of all time!”
“I tried one of their huckleberry latte and it was meh. Maybe that is it how it suppose to taste like and I jusy didnt like it? i dont know. I probably come here again and try a typical espresso drink to judge for myself if this is a spot I should come again or not. Other than that, staffs are friendly and the interior is calming and welcoming. They also sell plants but not so much options.”
“I love the hamapon. Come here expecting do spend some money, the food is worth it. Staff is super friendly. we got into a secret one sided wagyu eating competition.”
“Great selection of old school arcade games. One suggestion... it would be really nice if the actual cost of each game were clearly posted, or some signage to this effect: "Hey, folks! We realize it's not 1981 anymore. But we thought you might like to know that the games with 25¢ on the coin return actually cost 50¢ to play." (I had to ask the bartender.)”
“Made me a born again bourbon drinker. service that was friendly and efficient. affordable. memorable.”
“We hosted a private show with The Dinner Detective for our wedding rehearsal dinner, and they put together a night we will not soon forget! The professional and talented group of actors delivered a multi-layered, hilarious, and engaging murder mystery. The event was perfectly organized, staff were responsive to all of our questions and requests, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests had a fantastic time as they were seamlessly integrated into the show, and it was a wonderful way to kick off our wedding celebration. I would highly recommend The Dinner Detective for a unique and entertaining event.”
“I absolutely love this place, I order something different every time and I'm never disappointed.”
“OH MY GOD! Can't speaking highly enough of this establishment. What an amazing experience and the food was absolutely delicious! If you haven't been you need to go! Thanks for a great b day dinner and thanks to everyone who came. ❤️❤️❤️”
“Best Bread Pudding Ever!!! OMG as a Travel Agent local to Omaha, NE I can tell you that I have enjoyed bread pudding all over the world and sea...and this is simply the most exquisite! So much so that if you mention Herbe Saint in your quote request, I will waive your booking fee! #hailherbesainte #bestbreadpuddingever #yumyum”
“Plank is hit or miss when it comes to its dishes. Sometimes they are as good as they should be, and sometimes they leave something to be desired. We dined on a Wednesday night and had the crab dip (meh), some oysters (all good, albeit a bit too "juicy" but some people like that), the parker rolls (nice; as expected) to start. We had drinks and Plank has a fine selection of alcohol. Our entrees were the tuna pasta and the crab and lobster pasta dishes. Both were underwhelming. I thought the sauce on the crab/lobster was a bit fishy-smelling and the crab too minced. The tuna was...okay, I guess, but didn't seem to go with the pasta which had sortuv a cream pesto on it. The dish just didn't seem to work. We've seen this before, ordering a variety of things, liking some, disliking others. If you are going for drinks, Plank is great. But for your entrees, you may want to choose one of the many others in downtown Omaha.”
“We had a French cuisine prepared by one of their Culinary School students and a pastry chef student it was amazing!”
“♥️ thank you for making my bday weekend special! Absolutely loved it! 🥰”
“The Crispy Garlic Beef and Three Delicacies were delicious! Our server Maggie was helpful and a delight. Also thanks for the tasty anniversary slice of cake!”
“Just a quick note to highlight our great dining experience. Last night, we had the pleasure of celebrating my father-in-laws birthday (around 530PM) at Charleston's Restaurant near Boys Town. Just want to brag on our server, Tommy for a bit. His energy, enthusiasm, friendliness, humor, and service was second to none. Oh, by the way, the food was delicious, too.”
“Had a perfect dinner and drinks with my wife. Some of my favorite food in Omaha.”
“I love this place to just hang out and try their large selection of craft beers. I like that they have them broken out into types of beer on the big chalkboard so you can easily choose what you are feeling at that particular moment.”
“After stopping at a not-so-great restaurant, I needed a palate cleanser. I began searching for a good local bar or restaurant in the area and stumbled upon a local couple who suggested Berry & Rye. I’m thankful they did, or I would have likely called it a night. I tried their Old Fashioned and Yukon Gold cocktails, and both were pretty good! Once I sat down, an individual, I believe was the owner, started talking to me. He shared stories and vast knowledge about different distilleries across the Midwest. Such experiences are rare in larger cities and made my first few hours in Omaha a little sweeter.”

Just want to brag on our server, Tommy for a bit. His energy, enthusiasm, friendliness, humor, and service was second to none. Oh, by the way, the food was delicious, too.”
“Managed to get to Kinaara twice this week. This place is highly recommended. I’m slowly working my way around the menu. Please get the tandoori wings and the masala fries you won’t regret it!!”
“I had a ribeye that was kind of gristly. I've eaten there before this review, and the steaks were much better. Hope this is a one-time thing because I like eating here. Thus, the reason for 4 stars. It's usually a 5 star for me.
The rest of the food was really good. The wait staff was superb. The restrooms and restaurant were clean.”
“Tonight we had an investment dinner at Flemings. The steak was done perfect along with the sides. Jayden did a fantastic job”
“Always great food and service when we visit Cascio's. Tonight we had chicken Parmesan. Always excellent along with their warm breadsticks and dinner salads.”
“I do not kid, best damn decision I have ever made!! This place has mouthwatering food and the Chai made my soul levitate (in a good way) The server was amazing and so nice. Honestly, the food and the atmosphere was very nostalgic; gave a homey feel.”
“Great wine bar and atmosphere! The staff are friendly and helpful, a great place to hang with friends, old and new.”
“Jericos is always a great time with great food and the customer service is amazing.”
“We always get the spicy shrimp as the appetizer. It is awesome! The food was great (& we got there around 5), but the service was not great. We were not done with the appetizer before the salad came. We were still eating the appetizer when the entree came. I asked what they consider medium on doneness on a steak. We were told : "warm pink center". I cut into my steak & it was bloody. I sent it back for more cooking. That was taking longer than expected, so I ate the salad. ( strawberry salad is awesome!) When the steak was brought back, I just took it home.
I had ordered soda for my drink, hubby had flavored lemonade. I still had a lot left in my glass & the waitress brought me another glass of soda. Hubby ran out of lemonade & waitress was not coming around. I told him he could have some of my soda. He put his straw in my new glass of soda & then the waitress shows up with another glass of soda & a lemonade. We never drank any of the 2nd & 3rd soda. Had the waitress asked if I wanted another soda, I would have declined the offer.
Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is one level & no stairs.”
“The ambionse , the food is FANTASTIC!! The risotto with pork bellly....WOW”
“What an amazing meal I ordered the Dynamite roll and the Lion King roll. Both are fantastic in their own right. for dessert, I ordered the fried cheesecake which was also amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone!”
“oh mannnn! they were having a party for National Hotdog Day so there was a food truck behind the building serving Hot Dogs, and I got the spiciest one possible. it was one hell of a dog. thanks a lot Shane!! 🌭 ♥️”
“Thank you for providing delicious gluten free options. Our food was so good!!”
“I love Martini's & this place was on my list for my bday on 12/15 - yes I know its not open on Sun, so my plan was to go on Sat the 14th. Weather interfered w ice storm on Fri 13th, so Sat night was super packed & i wasn't able to even get in....no biggie, went to Roxxy n had a blast! Fast forward to my bff coming out from NY n here for Christmas n we decided to go out on 12/28 n try again & yay we were able to finally get in! The place is so elegant n beautiful & has a very classy comfortable feeling to it - I knew I would 💜 it! At the bar talking about my quest n fail of trying to come here for my bday a few weeks ago, sitting next to me was the bar manager Carmen - she said she'd buy me a shot n I was like "oh cool", I never saw it so thought she was just being nice n a totally forgot n I thought 'its ok, no biggie"....then I go to pay my bill & turns out she picked up my 1st round of drinks - so extremely super sweet of her & I appreciated that n her so much. Huge THANK YOU to her & bartender Sophia for making my visit w my bff rock & an awesome experience!”
“Went and tried out the new El Milagro Mexican Bar & Grill 🤩 yesterday & it did NOT disappoint! Highly recommend! The atmosphere was amazing, relaxing, music perfect, service ON POINT👌! Food-perfection🤌 We hung out for hours & the server, Daniella, continued to help us throughout the evening! They make fresh guac in front of you & have amazing dessert! While I *love* Javi's, this was definitly a better place to relax and hang out for hours! Highly recommend you check them out!”
“Great food and atmosphere but needs work on handling large crowds for events. Tonight my fiance and I had a wild experience lol. Arrived knowing we would wait, was quoted 30 min to 1 hour. Agreed and took a seat at the bar for drinks, table was available within the 30 min time frame which was great. Was seated and didn’t see a server for 35 minutes, we expected a wait and wasn’t too bothered at this point over it. Once the server came over to us he said he thought we were being taken care of already since I had a drink from the bar. We brushed it off and placed our drinks and food order at that time. My food came out within 5 minutes and we were pretty stunned with how quick that came considering how packed it was. Now, after 10 min of him not getting his order and we also didn’t have our drinks we looked around to find someone to ask. I called out to the server and the manager several times, but didn’t succeed in grabbing their attention and fiance didn’t want me to get up and find someone. 40 minutes after my food arrived the server came up to us and I asked about his food and our drinks. I said well just take our bill and a to go box for mine. He did bring out my fiancés order and removed it from the bill. We understand it’s not entirely the servers fault but overall we were pretty bummed since we do enjoy this spot for the atmosphere and the food has always been good. A few other tables also were saying they had similar experiences tonight and also just wanted their bills as well.”
“Amazing Date Night Restaurant! Service was so fast! Under 5 minutes for both our pizzas, our server, Sierra was amazing! So sweet and knowledgeable about the whole menu! Also the drinks were amazing!!! Can’t wait to come back next week for date night!!”
“I went on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 7 and we tried nearly every beer by getting flights. I believe these to be the best beers in the Omaha area. Every one I tried I would order again. The pizza is really good. Not sure I've ever had Detroit style pizza but theirs is outstanding. This is my new favorite for beer and pizza.”
“Today was our first time here, it was absolutely incredible! The food was well above my expectations, every bite was delectable! The staff was so wonderful and Troy (our waiter) even took great care to speak toto my very young children and took the time to hear what they had to say. I will come back here every chance I get!”
“clay soon girls,,?????? 50 lbs ready! heritage fun from bev!!”
“We have great experience with every dish we get and the service is top notch!”
“You've got to be kidding me. . . astounding collection of spirits from around the world! Beer drinkers will not be disappointed either. . . how did I not know of this place??”
“This place is by far the most amazing place I have ate!! Their service is great, the food has great flavor and very fresh!!”
“Veal Parm was excellent. They skimp a bit on the side pasta and salads. Offer a bit more bread. Slightly on the expensive side and I don't like leaving hungry - but my veal was quite good.”
“Never disappoints. We have been many times and tried many menu items and they are all delicious. They have amazing flavors, great service, good portions and very good prices.”
“Our app was excellent. We went all in on the Hammer Pants Fries. We ordered three different burgers and everyone was pleased. The mushroom swiss was probably the best I've had. Fries are very good. Great beer choices. Loved the hefeweizen. The staff was very nice and service was excellent. Will definitely be back.”
“Top notch drinks and staff. Highly recommend the espresso martinis and excellent selection of whiskeys and bourbons. Order a pizza!”
“The food is delicious and my takeout order was correct and packaged with care. Definitely recommend. Oh, and don't miss the pork dumplings. They are hands-down the best in Omaha.”
“Top 3 favorite restaurant!! From the moment we walked in until we left everything was wonderful. The staff is happy and helpful, they were engaging and helped guide us to the right menu options. The cocktails were the best prices I’ve seen in a long time and were delicious!! The food we had was fantastic! The manager stopped by to check on us and was very friendly as well. We had a group that went and we had the Piedmont Manhattan, Duck Duck, Sangria, and Mule for drinks. For apps we had the brussel sprouts and goose bumps (6) which were very generous for appetizers. Finally for dinner we had the herbed salmon sandwich, Italian Dip, and the chicken picatta. To be honest we can’t wait to go back!!!”
“The Midwest throwback bar of your dreams. My new favorite spot on Omaha.
Pigs in a blanket: A+
Boozy shake: A++
Fried chicken: A+++++++”
“Went for the first time tonight and had a fantastic meal! My Caesar salad was perfect, and my husband loved his crab chowder. We split an entree and the steak was cooked amazingly well and seasoned just right. Don’t miss out on the crispy cauliflower! Our server Kiki was also delightful. We will definitely be back!”
“Tristan was an AMAZING server. food came out fast and he was very informative about the entire menu. I was extremely impressed with his attitude.”
“Just had an amazing dinner at Johnny’s with the family in celebration of early Mother’s Day! Shout out to Bob who took such great care of us! His great attention to every detail was outstanding and it was such a pleasant experience!! Highly recommend this establishment. Always fabulous! ♥️”
“Taylor is amazing! We really liked him. Very handsome, sharp, knows how to communicate, checked in many times to make sure we were good! Probably best server there! And the food was amazing”
“Favorite Sushi place in Omaha, love the Crunchy Cali Roll and Rising Sun. Also tried the Berry Bomb roll. Delicious 🤤 The Chicken Fried Rice was delicious 😋❤️”
“What an amazing dining experience!! We had a party of 7 and our waitress was just phenomenal. She was on top of everything throughout the meal. And such a relaxed atmosphere with high end food. To say the food was excellent is an understatement. The flavors were impeccable and everything went together perfectly. From appetizers, salads, soup, main course and dessert- each bit was melt in your mouth deliciousness. And their drink menu is perfect for anyone's taste. Classic to innovative- their drinks are sure to satisfy. I would definitely recommend trying Cibo Vino out. We will definitely be stopping by again!”
“Best kept secret restaurant in Omaha? Finicky Franks and this place deserves every single 5 stars and then some. This place is my go-to, my comfort zone, and honestly, my love language in prime rib form. Let’s talk about Brian, the cocktail wizard behind the bar. He crafts a Manhattan that will make you question every other one you have ever had. I am not exaggerating when I say it is one of the best I have ever sipped. Their walleye? Perfectly crisped on the outside, buttery and flaky on the inside. And if you are lucky enough to snag a table on Fried Chicken for 2 on Thursday, Off. The. Chains. Service is always warm, the vibe is cozy without being pretentious, and the food is consistently top-tier. Whether I am showing it off to out-of-towners or sneaking in for a solo bite, Finicky Franks never misses. Run—do not walk.”
“If tomorrow were my last day in Omaha, Scriptown Brewing Company would be at the top of my list of places I would absolutely need to spend time at. Scriptown is everything a local brewery should be: great vibes and location, warm and welcoming staff, and the best tasting beer in town. Scriptown was on Farnam Street before Blackstone turned into the bustling nightlife street that it is today. It was amazing when it opened, and it has kept its true identity to this day even as the street and the businesses around it have perpetually been changing over the past 10 years. The owner John is a true beer guy: he's an expert at his craft and simultaneously doesn't fall into "trendy" beers while also listening to his customer base on what they want. It's been incredible to watch them navigate the hurdles COVID threw their way, incorporate a side restaurant, garage doors on the front of the business, and host live music events. Evan is the Czar of Scriptown. Incredibly nice bartender who I'd bet a weeks worth of wages that he knows his regulars better than any bartender in the city. If you're a runner, be sure to give Scriptown Running Club a shot. Rain or shine, 100 degrees or -10 degrees, they meet every Thursday. Last, don't be alarmed if you don't drink beer - they make their own ginger beer and have the best mules in Omaha as well. Quit reading this review and go try it for yourself - I promise you won't be disappointed.”
“I’ve never had a bad experience here. Food is amazing. Every time I stop in o ask for recommendations and have never been let down by the staff’s choices. If you haven’t eaten here, you’re missing out”
“Keka was a pleasure and makes the best Old Fashioned I've had in Omaha! The food and atmosphere is phenomenal! We will be back!”
“My husband and I were there the 23rd. Very welcoming greeting got a table immediately. The server(she) was delightful and promoted. The decor is outstanding. We loved it!”
“We were visiting Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway meeting and many restaurants were fully booked Friday night. Sand Point had availability and we are so happy it did. The staff were helpful and we decided on raw oysters to start. They were absolutely delicious so we ordered more. I had the tuna and it was perfectly seared, incredibly tender and perfectly accompanied with asparagus and vegetable purée and a hint of citrus. We also ordered champagne. They were out of the brand we ordered. The owner came to the table with a great alternative which we happily accepted. She stayed and chatted for a few minutes and we learned that she wants to add an oyster bar to the restaurant which would be a great addition. Our server was very attentive and we ended the meal with a chocolate tart that was decadent. We highly recommend this restaurant. I hope we can come back soon.”

“Hello, we had the best waitress. She was amazing, way better than any waitress I have had in a long time. Her name is Yancy. She was always getting our glasses filled, checked on us a ton. Never will I go to this place without asking to sit in her section. Wow, what a treat.”
“We love the margaritas. All made with fresh ingredients. The chef understands Celiac disease and is able to make my meals gluten free. I haven't had good luck finding Mexican restaurants that can make food that is safe for Celiac. Have eaten here many times without a problem.”
“They have really been knocking it out of the park. Best popcorn anywhere. Do yourself a favor and get some kettle corn. While always delicious, they even found a way to improve it greatly this past year. All their products just keep getting better and better. Can't say enough good things.”

“Party of 9 We were there 2hrs and the 1st 45 min we were offered 3 times Cutts of meat. And a server must have had a bad day to toss the silverware and cutlery on top the wine book when 1 in our group asked Her for new cutlery because where she was sitting the cutlery was resting in spilled water. It's a steak place with fast food fries 🍟 instead of STEAK FRIES. Beautiful place not sure if I want to revisit again. Service was better last year on this date.”
“Awesome Experience! At first I wasn’t impressed. My server seemed to be really off, she fumbled her words, had a hard time answering my questions, (maybe she was nervous) etc. I ordered a martini but she brought me something terrible in a rocks glass! We ordered, the salad bar was amazing!!! Fresh and had several choices. Our meal was another story, our waitress got our order wrong. I wanted chicken parmigiana and I got a sandwich?! She did get it corrected but I had to wait longer. At the end of our meal the manager trish came over to offer apologies. She also brought me the martini I originally asked for that she said she made herself. Awesome!! It was delicious!! She was friendly, chatted with us for a moment and deliver our bill. She didn’t even charge me for the drink! We noticed her guiding our server who was then having issues at another table. I would say we won’t be back but Trish really helped turned our opinion around! She’s definitely a manager who cares! We will give it another try and hopefully just get a more proficient server!”
“I did takeout tonight. They were extremely busy, proms are tonight. I was quoted a time and I checked on my order 35-40 minutes after my promised time, order would be be ready within 5-10 minutes. No biggie, had a great time talking with customers waiting for tables so time was going by fast. The manager in the take out area was AMAZING and so sweet and kind, as were the rest of the staff in that area. I didn’t catch her name, but you ROCK! And thank you for my meal.”
“We just ate there for our 6th wedding anniversary last night and it was an amazing experience!! Ally and the staff went above and beyond and made our night so wonderful and memorable 🥰 The food was outstanding and the Billionaire cocktail she recommended was delish! She made the dessert special and everyone even signed a card. She was so personable and genuinely nice, I can't sing Ally's praises enough, thank you again!!!”
“Seriously best lasagna I have ever had. I highly suggest everything else as well. We come here a lot , but the specials are different. This is the first time I was able to try the lasagna as they are always out by the time I get there. They are a great establishment !!!!”
“As a Muslim person (and POC) trying to eat in Omaha - I can say no other restaurant has been as accommodating of my dietary needs as Dolomiti. But let’s be real, I wouldn’t be eating here if the food wasn’t fantastic! Top notch pizza and the best Caesar salad.”
