“The food was accepted for the mac and cheese it had no flavor and was very stiff. Jerk chicken as delicious, rasta pasta was delicious but spicy(i don't east spice, so my tolerance is low).The festival is delicious, especially hot. Rice was okay. I love the cabbage and I normally don't eat cabbage. The girl who took the order was super nice, as well as the guy making the chicken. Will go back for sure. Not really a place to dine in unless they have a separate location because I didn't see it.“

“Was walking by and saw A&J Caribbean Taste. I just had to go in and see what they had. It was like home! They had a wide range of food and I was so excited I asked for a sample of it all lol. DELICIOUS. Further, it was super generous of the server to accommodate my request. My favorite was the oxtail though all dishes were delicious. If you're missing GOOOOD Caribbean food and want a variety - and not have to wait for food preparation - this is a must visit. Compliments to the chef. This will now be one of my go-to spots whenever I come to my Newark Office.“

“Try the codfish cakes. Scrumptious! Curry is always good and oxtails are braised perfectly. The food is savory and seasoned well. Love the comfort on the restaurant, great place to try out some Antigua cuisine. The menu has American food also. I highly recommend Cafe Metro.“

“This is my second time eating here and the food was ?. There are so many choices including chimi, mofongo, soup, wings etc... I got stewed chicken with white rice, pigeon beans and tostones with garlic sauce. I enjoyed everything and the service once again was very friendly and accommodating. ??“

“My kids had an international night at school. I had no time to cook so I ordered catering from Caribbean Touch. International night came and was the food was delicious! When I went to pick up the food, the oxtails were not quite ready, though everything else in my order was good to go. They later brought the oxtail to the school for me. When the oxtail arrived it was per-fection, the meat was tender and dropping off the bone. The oxtail was well worth the wait. Those who stopped by my table raved about the food and I plugged Caribbean Touch the entire time. Fantastic job!“

“The food was cooked to perfection texture is perfect I must say and the staff is friendly and attentive so the service gets a five-star unfortunately the food doesn't quite hit like a Jamaican spot should the flavors aren't their. it is good don't get me wrong but it is lacking that Jamaican passion those hole in the wall spots have.“

“This is my go to place when I have a large group to entertain. Our server was great and very professional but very personable as well. I ordered a coconut mojito and it was literally a glass of ice with a drop of coconut and a sugar stick that had seen better days. I told our server it was terrible and I got another one it was still awful and I couldn't drink it. It was very disappointing since I've had them before and they were good. Our food was great and we celebrated my friend's birthday with a special dessert . They need a new bartender those drinks were terrible! I shouldn't had to pay for those drinks but I was charged anyway. I'll have to think twice about going back“

“Visited this place while in the city, and the food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the stew chicken really really good but what took the cake was the owner giving me a free sample of her pea soup. It was so good I had to order a full bowl! The Irish Sea Moss drink was deli’s and smelled as good as it tasted. Thank you for the great customer service and delicious food. Grant it this is my first time eating at this restaurant (at work and needed something to eat and it was across the street) but this cabbage and carrots (has a light sweet-spice) taste like gold. Rice and peas are cooked to purrrrrrfection!!!!!! Lets talk about the Curry Chicken ? “Came in around 8pm after worked, tired from work, didn’t want to travel for my normal place I go for my west Indian food , I find this little gem and ordered to my dietary standards, got curry goat and all veggies and food was fresh tasting and very well seasoned and tender, was a bit surprised as I don’t like trying new places , definitely will be back to try different menu options, service is great and a welcoming atmosphere..
