“I grew up on Jamaican beef patty but these patties are not a snack they are a whole meal. These patties are exploding with meat or your favorite stuffing like ackee and salt fish. You will not be disappointed. Come to Y.U.P.P. for the ultimate patty experience.“

“Popped in for some food after hitting the pool - everything was so fresh. I got the fritura and was blessed with a massive portion of fried, fresh, incredible meats, cheese, and plantains. The chicken was so moist and juicy, the chicharron was deeply flavorful and had me floored; truly so fresh, tasted like a mama made it for me. “Was walking by and saw A&J Caribbean Taste. I just had to go in and see what they had. It was like home! They had a wide range of food and I was so excited I asked for a sample of it all lol. DELICIOUS. Further, it was super generous of the server to accommodate my request. My favorite was the oxtail though all dishes were delicious. If you're missing GOOOOD Caribbean food and want a variety - and not have to wait for food preparation - this is a must visit. Compliments to the chef. This will now be one of my go-to spots whenever I come to my Newark Office.“

“My kids had an international night at school. I had no time to cook so I ordered catering from Caribbean Touch. International night came and was the food was delicious! When I went to pick up the food, the oxtails were not quite ready, though everything else in my order was good to go. They later brought the oxtail to the school for me. When the oxtail arrived it was per-fection, the meat was tender and dropping off the bone. The oxtail was well worth the wait. Those who stopped by my table raved about the food and I plugged Caribbean Touch the entire time. Fantastic job!“

“Awesome frozen lemonades that were the perfect antidote to a hot day riding bikes on govenors island. We had the mango, pineapple and lavender ones, then went back for seconds! Yes, at $7 each we spent too much but it was so worth it.

My favorite is the lavender lemonade, which they source from the lavender gardens right on the island! My daughter and I strolled through it before finding it at Fauzia’s. That was fun.“

“Today was my first time trying this spot, I got the curry goat with Mac & cheese and plantains. It was delicious!!! There guava passion juice makes you want to bust a whine, and as a Trinidadian I approve of their sorrel, the ginger isn’t overpowering. I will absolutely be returning.“

Grant it this is my first time eating at this restaurant (at work and needed something to eat and it was across the street) but this cabbage and carrots (has a light sweet-spice) taste like gold. “I am a vegan and I love coming here. I always get a lunch plate with their lentil stew (soooo good). Almost all of their sides are vegan as well! Their patties are also vegan and super tasty. Every employee I have encountered here has been nothing but kind. I live about 25 mins away but always stop by when I’m in the area!!

“The food here is sooo good. Me and my friend were recommended to come here and get something for our Halloween movie watch party. So we said why not? We were not disappointed in the slightest bit. You can smell the food down the street and the atmosphere when you walk in is 10/10. The staff inside are so nice. The portion are hefty and plentiful. The food was so delicious. I got their shrimp, fish and wings plate with fried okra, potato salad and sweet potato fries. My friend got the catfish, wings and fries plate with collard greens, candied yams and fried sweet plantains. We also decided to get their peach cobbler wings. Worth every penny.“
