“I had the blackened fish and it was really good.Fried rice and seasoned potato slices as sides. Fried rice was uninspiring. Potatoes were good.How they do sides for combos is weird. The choices for combos are only lo mein, potatoes, fried rice.I asked for plantains and they tasted fine.Its mostly chinese food. Chopsticks, chinese sauces. Its all chinese food too. Im chinese so it worked out.“

“I had a nice experience this afternoon. The food was fresh and tasteful. The pepper steak was done just the way I like it, meat tender and veggies crisp. The service was swift and pleasant. I would definitely go back again. The plantains looked tasty. I hope they look like that on my next trip there! “The Japanese and Italian flavors mixed well and are to come back for. I stayed in the hotel where the restraunt was attached. In the area, with a focus of cocktails and table service for an upscale environment, it was delightful.

“We got to the restaurant at 645 on a Friday. We’re seated quickly, ordered citron tea iced and the toasted grain beverage. Both were amazing. Got appetizers: joen pancake sampler, summer rolls, and duck bao. Best was the sweet corn pancakes, but the kimchi was delicious too. Summer roll was good but I loved the duck bao. For the meal ordered pad thai, Philly roll, and mango avocado roll. Philly roll was exquisite. Would recommend and return!“

And the chef who is a special guest chef on Sundays only does the most amazing brunch! Bottomless mimosas for $20 sets the mood. Hoka available. And then there's the food which was an epic culinary celebration! We had the stuffed shrimp, the blackened salmon and both over grits which were creamy, flavorful and delicious! “The food was generally salty. The first time I went, I ordered the eel rice bowl, but it was so salty that I thought I'd ruined my appetite after enjoying the other appetizers. The staff checked with me and said it was just salty that day. I got free ice cream instead. So today, I went for the hand rolls for the second time, and even the appetizers were a little salty. The hand rolls were delicious. The other dishes were fine, but they were a little salty. It wasn't just me; everyone I went with said the same thing.“

Came on a Saturday night and we sat down right away. The servers were very friendly and took the time to explain each part of the Thali we got.

Food:
- veg thali (4/5) - this is definitely a good bang for your buck, given that you can ask for refills. My favorite was the pea dish.
- veg jhol mojos (4.5/5) - nice deep flavor, the momos were solid. I’d be curious to try the chili ones and the fried ones next time.
- mango lassi (5/5) - everything you want mango lassi to be.

“Truly my favorite place to eat. I live a block away so go there all the time on the weekend and for dinner, sometimes take the train from my office in midtown down to Chelsea for lunch. This is truly the only fast-casual place where I feel the food is of high quality - it is clear everything is not mass-produced. The brussel sprouts are hands down the best I have ever had and same with the sweet potatoes. To be honest - everything is absolutely delicious. What makes it so special is you can truly tell that care was put into making everything that is served. Even the way it is displayed shows the amount of effort that goes into the preparation. The food is not over-seasoned or trying too hard to do something different - it is simply cooked well and with good ingredients, mixing which for some reason seems to be rare these days. The steak is honestly as good as steak I have had at much fancier restaurants. This is what fast casual should be. I am the biggest fan. I highly recommend. You will be full after - but the good kind of full!“
