“After eating so much (pizza etc )we needed to eat something different, spicy and booked this gem,as it as near to our hotel. It was also our 40th wedding anniversary. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay,try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. Thanks for the rendition “ congratulations “ for our 40th. You are great ! A little gem of authenticity in big New York !“

The overall atmosphere is very relaxed and enjoyable. The food is soooo good. They have decent portion sizes. I personally tried the short ribs, chicken wings, fries, and mandu (non kimchi). Everything was very flavorful and had great texture. The service was nice as well. I highly reccomend going here for a date night. 10/10!“

If you have strawberries, you can dip them in and have DIY chocolate dipped strawberries with great quality chocolate.
