I wish they had a little more options in terms of vegetables (they did have cooked broccoli) and fruits (limited to pineapple and melon), but overall it was good value for money. “Came here for brunch on a Saturday with two others. The restaurant had just opened upon our arrival, so the crowded was very limited. Two of us decided to do the three course lunch special ($30) while another decided to order from the regular menu. However, we shared everything and had leftovers afterwards. For appetizers, we got the Samosa Tasting, which consisted 2 of each: jalapeno & cheese, potato & peas, and lamb & peas. The other appetizer we had was the Saar Lamb Kebab, which I would highly recommend between the two. For entrees, I ordered the popular Delhi Ka Butter Chicken, which I enjoyed a lot. We also ordered the Tandoori Lamb Chops, which costed an extra $7 with the two or three course lunch special. I did not think this was worth it as the chops were pretty small to be paying extra. The other entree we ordered off the lunch special was the Biryani Chicken ($20). The rice for sure filled us up very quick, where we ended up taking this back as leftovers. Loved the flavoring of the dish. For dessert, we got the Gulab Jamun, which is not too sweet as we expected it to be. It is served hot as a fair warning to not burn your tongue. The other dessert was the Ras Malai. No comments as I didn't get to try it. If you're looking for a drink, I recommend getting the Masala Chai ($5). I added a pack of sugar for the added sweetness along with the chai taste.“

“A Thai place that my friends and I visited in Queens. We ordered Thai Fried Rice, Green Curry, Pad See Ew, and Pad Kee Mao (all of them were $15 w/ chicken). This place tasted really authentic as there was so much flavor in all the dishes. Furthermore, they adjusted the spice level very well according to our requests. The service was a bit slow in the beginning, but got better near the end. The only downside is the mandatory 20% gratuity for parties of 5+. Other than that, $15 for an entree is value. My only complaint was that I had 3 pork bones in my noodles, 2+ inches long! I can see how this happens once, but finding 3 was excessive. I mean... you could break a tooth or choke or something if you weren't careful! Despite the bones-in-the-noodles issue the overall experience was positive and there was a lot of food for the price.“

I ordered the Five Spice Roasted Pork Banh Mi. Don't get me wrong, the pork is very well seasoned/marinated and tender. Unfortunately, the baguette here is too soft, and the oil from the pork does seep through. The key to a good banh mi is the baguette - light on the inside with a thin and crispy crust. You'll know the baguette is good when the roof of your mouth gets destroyed by the time you finish it.“

We tried several items - chicken satay, curry puffs, tom yum soup, duck wrap, and the basil chicken. Favorite dish was probably the lychee shrimp balls in both taste and presentation. We also ordered the mushroom pancakes (it was ok) and Peking duck. The Peking duck was a bit smaller in portion than what we had expected (seems less than a half), and taste is also on the mid to lower end compared to other similar modern Chinese cuisines.“

I would highly recommend the squid dolsot (a hot stone bibimbap, where the stone bowl sizzles and browns the rice on the bottom)! This dish was only ~$20, which I thought was fair for the value and absolutely delicious. They don't skimp on the squid either, which can be a sticking point sometimes at other restaurants. Overall, amazing experience. Down to earth, excellent quality, and an all around great place. Don't skip on So Kong Dong the next time you're in Fort Lee!“

“An underrated ramen place in Koreatown according to my taste. We had Kimchi Tan Tan, Spicy Miso Ramen, Chicken Mayo rice bowl. Kimchi tan tan with pork broth and chicken chashu was juicy and favorful. The broth is so well prepared. Same with Spicy Miso ramen with some spice. Chicken Mayo rice was ok though. The Sweet potato fries are tempting and you can go on eating it. Overall great taste and good service.“
