“I’ve been to Star Sushi several times now, and every single visit has been great. The owner, Anthony, and his staff are always super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers — it’s the kind of place where they remember you and your favorites.

The fish is always fresh and the rolls are consistently delicious! My go to is the Star Tower. The amount of fish is very generous and it blends perfectly well with the rice, avocados, roe and sauces. It’s honestly one of the best sushi spots around, both for the food and the people!“

“We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

They also brought a second bowl so we could share pho between 2 people which was nice, because many places discourage sharing. The pho was huge so we had plenty for 2. The atmosphere was cute and stylish.“

“Had never been before nor heard of before. Popped in for a small but special occasion celebration ( 3 people ). Everything, with the exception of the horrendous coat girls, was really great. The coat/hostess girls are unintelligible phantoms who mumble w scowls. However once we leave there pointless presence we are to the real start : the Sit-down and Dine.
The food was all great and we went in blind. We also had some great drinks overall throughout and a great waiter as well. Our only regret is not really trying any of the steamed fish, but we will likely be back. Note to Owners-86 those hottendous front coat staff“

“I went to pick up my To Good To Go seafood boil order. The woman said it’ll be ready in 10 minutes. I waited patiently. I got my food packaged nicely so no leaks would occur. Very pleased with my seafood boil. This was my first boil I’ve ever had and I’m very pleased. 10/10 will come again. I paid $10 for a $30 dollar value seafood boil.“

My favorite app is the one with fish, its cold and savory and appetizing. Never crowded. Never wait in line before. Sometimes it's short staffed. They speak English enough for you to order and speak back to about your order. Never too hot or too cold in there. Sometimes it could be a little noisy in there but the booths help. I've only gone at night though. Can't say for how it is when the sun is still out. The staff are the sam every night I've gone.“

I got the boneless spare ribs, house special lo mein, egg drop wonton soup and broccoli with garlic sauce. Everything tastes amazing! Food was fresh and portion size was large. Our order was prepared quickly and was nice and hot. Kind of dingy and dated inside. Prices were a little cheaper than other takeout places in nearby Pearl River, which was nice. According to their menu, they don’t use MSG, if that’s important to you.Located next to a frozen yogurt place in a strip mall on Kinderkamack Rd. “Overall, Haiku is pretty good, they are consistent and I like them. To my understanding, there are 3 locations around me including the White Plains, Scarsdale and Bronxville locations. I have found that the Bronxville location ONLY charges me for a lesser substititution. I ordered a sushi roll and opted out of TUNA for a substitution that is cheaper in price, and I was charged a fee, again, only at this location, as I have done this at the White Plains/Scarsdale locations and no additional fee was charged. I cannot see why I was charged a fee, like I said, the replacement that I opted for is lesser in price than tuna and I believe the sushi is made fresh everytime, so I would say it was an INCONVENIENCE fee, but in this instance, I don't know if that can be applied, but who knows. Again, only at this location. Just a heads up for fellow customers.“

“MoLiXian is one of the stalls in the New World Food Court. It offers all kinds of desserts and snacks - from ice cream, egg puffs, to savory crepes and, supposedly, noodle soups. Since this is a day trip for me and this is a food court, I wanted to sample around. Here, there's a dedicated menu section on takoyaki, so I decided it must be worth a try.There are 4 different takes on takoyaki. I took T1, the classic take with bonito flakes. Menu says jumbo, but actually it's just slightly larger than the mini ones I've had else where. Taste is good, but as always everywhere, they don't really put much octopus in them. Their version also weren't sweet which was a good thing. I don't like the fact that many Japanese dishes mix sweet and savory together. Overall, it was a good experience.“

The salmon was excellent (im a picky sushi eater) and the price is right. Genuinely surprised to see this place's average rating is currently as low as it is. “Best Thai food in NYC + NJ. Very cheap yet authentic. However, reservation only and no walk-ins, also you must know the chef or staffs personally to reserve a table. The atmosphere is like dining at home, literally. The chef will cook and eat with you, but be careful as the staffs love encouraging the customers to drink with them. But if you get too drunk to go home, you can sleep over at the restaurant and wake up with breakfast. The restaurant has no menu, you can request anything you want to eat upon reservation. 10/10 would go back there again.
