“We really enjoyed our experience at Kimika. The cocktails were amazing - unique with great flavors. I loved the kaga milk punch, shishitorita and the unami in kenmare.Dishes are a fusion of Japanese flavors in Italian style dishes, such as the sticky rice arancini served on a Japanese curry sauce. Other menu highlights were the tuna tartare, hamachi collar, truffle carbonara, rigatoni, and the steak.Dont miss the yakult soft serve for dessert!Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We were seated in a back room which felt private with so much space on the large tables.“

“Tried the TikTok viral restaurant. It used to be a Michelin one-star in 2021 and 2022. Although it has lost its Michelin star last year, I still think it’s my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC so far. Had a fantastic experience here! The salad turned out to be a game-changer. As someone who typically shies away from salads, Don Angie's version won me over with its unique flavors and freshness. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence.Don Angie lived up to its viral acclaim. My friend and I walked in at 9:15 pm, and we got seated in 20 minutes!! Strongly recommend this way of dining.“

“After having enjoyed Bersi's eye-poppingly large platters that feed 3-4 people for $20-60 in total, not even Ras's lunch special ($18 bowls) seemed like a good deal. I did prefer the collard greens at Ras over Bersi's though. (Too bad I didn't try the injera at Ras for a comparison.) All that said, I did enjoy the Bole Bowl: the crunchy soy crumbles were a fun textural element, and the avocado injected creaminess into the mix. FYI, they have a couple of beverages with honey: honey wine and hard kombucha. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-08“

“This is the best pizza I have ever had, nice crisp, light crust with just the right amount of toppings, no grease at all. I live in CT and thought no pizza was better than our New Haven ones, boy was I wrong!!! Looking forward to returning……soon!“

“Lovely people, lovely place, incredibly delicious food! Ingredients are very fresh, often from the local farmers market. There are both very creative dishes and classics on the menu. The Queensboro is a special restaurant that not only cares about the quality of their food and atmosphere, but also sincerely cares about the community.Kid-friendliness: Roomy and fun space that is very comfortable for those bringing children. The staff is super friendly with children as well!“

“My family and I were on our way to another restaurant when the smell of the broth lured us in to Raku instead. I had the kitsune udon. The noodles were cooked to perfection, not too soft with the right amount of chew. I got a side of maitake tempura as well, the batter was crunchy and the mushrooms juicy and tender, like a chicken thigh but with that distinct nuttiness. And of course the broth that lured us in was as delicious as it smelled. I'm not a New York resident but I wish I was so I could come back regularly!“

“I took my wife on a date night yesterday. We like fine food and have had some amazing experiences around the world .several Michelin restaurants. First of all our waiter Julio took us on a journey through his description of the food and Sake . Julio paired every meal like painter does color . His direction was outstanding and the food followed with such complexity and fun . We will be back again and again and again . Ask for Julio he paints before the pigments hits the canvas . “Anelle was AMAZING! Truly one of the most remarkable service and food experiences I’ve had in NYC- every single course was an absolute smash hit and a transportation to Tuscany. This is the type of meal that you want when you want something truly, really special. Core memory while living in NYC. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you to the entire staff!!Dietary restrictions: They are so accommodating to any dietary needs, and totally create the menu around your needs!“

“Came here on a Wednesday after work and was able to grab a seat at the bar. Went for the "Busiate Siciliana al Pomodoro" which was a pasta with eggplant. For the affordable price of $26, I got a huge plate of pasta that lasted for two meals. It was flavorful, the pasta was cooked to perfection, and the service was fast. Definitely has more of a finance bro/businessman crowd in there but all the staff were welcoming. Worth trying it out if you're around!“

“It's a very long wait on a Sunday. I arrived around 11.15 and the wait for one person was an hour. For two people or more it was a 3 hour wait. The famous pancakes were delicious, even as a single stack was quite large. The home fries were just broken up hash browns so a little disappointed.I would go back if I was super hungry, but because of the long wait I had eaten something small beforehand.“

“I would fly from SoCal where I live to NYC just to have a slice of this pizza. It’s my go to spot whenever I’m in the city. They don’t do slices so you gotta buy the whole pie, but I don’t mind because this is the best pizza on the planet!“

“Had a very good meal at Thep Thai. Came here on a sunday afternoon, there was no wait, and our waitress (Gift) was very attentive and checked in often even though we sat in a back corner outside. The food was also amazing, some of the best Thai food we had in UES. Definitely would recommend.“

“I enjoyed their burger which tasted fresh. Their fries were nice and crispy. We were able to split a small order of fries between 2 people. The service was great. Seating is limited. I wouldn’t agree that they have the best burger in NYC but it was still good.“

“Scottadito is a cozy restaurant with seating in the front and back of the restaurant. If you want a more intimate setting, opt for the front. If you're okay with a bigger room and dont mind some louder background conversation the back is a lovely choice to sit as well. My fiance and I started off complimentary bread and dipping sauce. We followed that up with the katerina salad which comes with a tart dressing and generous amount of cheese. My personal favorite of the night was the tagliatelle with speck and brie... absolutely cheesy, creamy, heaven. The saltiness from the speck balanced out the creaminess from the pasta sauce. The noodles were thin and almost reminded me of egg noodles. Definitely a one of a kind tagliatelle. My fiance ordered the penne with spicy vodka sauce and spicy sausage. The sausage was broken up into nice chunks and definitely came with a kick. The portions were generous and we left the restaurant stuffed. Scottadito also offers small backyard seating, which I can see it opening up to perhaps a micro wedding for the fall/summer. Will definitely be back for more pasta and to try more dishes. Yum!“

“Went there for the bottomless brunch with some friends. While we had a blast, we misunderstood the bottomless brunch deal: on top of paying for an entree, you can get bottomless drinks for 90 minutes for 30 something dollars, which when you look at it you better be drinking A LOT for it to make financial sense, so be warned.“

“Hadn't been there for several years & it was as good as ever. Perfect, professional service. Menu seems smaller but with so many specials, a larger menu isn't necessary. The burrata & prosciutto appetizer is excellent & can easily be shared. Coming from Northern NJ, Astoria is a perfect area to meet friends from Long Island.“

“Delightful spot to get together with friends or for a date night.Queue can be long but more flexible if you're open to outdoor seating. Just leave your name, number, and explore the neighborhood (stay close!).Food was more generous than expected without tipping into quantity over quality zone. Pasta had a nice chew, anchovy bruschetta was even more of a win than anticipated, and waiter was helpful when it came to wine choice.Service became a little more relaxed as the tables filled up and one group table seemed a bit indecisive. However, that's a matter of circumstance. All in all, good service.“

“After viewing the cherry blossoms in Central Park, coming here for lunch is very close. Upon entering, I was attracted by the retro style - it feels atmospheric and cozy, especially suitable for enjoying a leisurely time with family and friends?. My favorite is the French Onion Soup ; the cheese can be stretched so long, and the soup is fragrant with onions and has a hint of sweetness?.The Salmon Eggs Benedict has a smooth and tender texture, also a must-select for brunch.I was pleasantly surprised by the Short Rib Cavatelli?; the ribs are stewed until tender and flavorful, paired with cavatelli which is very soft and delicate in texture, highly recommended?.“

“Their turmeric bun is insanely good. Was lucky enough to catch it right as it was fresh out of the oven and waiting to be glazed. Almost doubled back for another one it was so good (self restraint won).Delicate, flaky, caramelized crust. Fluffy, light, moist pull-apart center. I usually find glazed pastries too sweet, but this one was perfect - just sweet enough to hit the spot but not too sweet that it feels heavy. The balance of flavors is just right. Just a hint of turmeric that isn't at all overpowering.“

“Delicious food and great atmosphere! After a long day of running around it was so nice to sit down and have a great meal where everyone around you is having a fun time! We started out with the Scallion Pancake and Vegetable Dumplings. I don't eat Scallion Pancakes very often because most places don't make it very well. Joe's Pancake was perfection! Cooked just right with layers of flavors. The Dumplings were light and fresh. For our main course we had Chicken with Broccoli and Sauteed Crystal Shrimp. Both were delicious and very generous portions. It was the first time I had had the Crystal Shrimp and I couldn't stop eating them. The Staff was very nice and we felt very well attended to but not overly so. We are really looking forward to returning so we can try some dishes that we have never had before.“

“TL:DR - great food, cozy space, beverages are hit or miss depends what you get. 4 stars. David the barista is great! 58th st location.Details:Service 5/5 - shoutout to David for the exceptional customer service. super cramped in here but it's kind of cozy. They have wifi but it's super intimately spaced and I feel like I'm going to break my neck on those stairs, this place is short people friendly.Food: tastiest chicken Empanada I've had in awhile that isn't from the Criollos chain. It was juicy without being wet and flavorful. Wepa!!!!Drinks: my buddy got the Tres Leche and I had fomo because that thing was GOOOD. Drank half of hers lol. I got an iced Coquito latte because I'm a sweaty human even in winter and it helped regulate my temp but the taste was just OK. Her drink was hot and I was happy to sweat for it.Note: the iced drinks come in those clear bags with a straw like when Covid started allowing people to drink out of plastic bags from bars. We went to pick her kid up from tennis and I looked like an unhinged day drinker trying to relive spring break.Misc: Stopped by with a buddy to wait for tennis to let out over on 1st ave. Got a chicken Empanada, a Tres leche coffee and a coquito *flavored* latte. ( they have actual spirit infused stuff but i didn't get that).“

“Good food! Loved the grilled octopus and branzino -- a must try! Lobster pasta was tasty but it was a bit on the sweeter side; I would skip it next time. “This place rocked. We wanted something close to the High Line and this place popped up. We made a reservation via Open Table. After getting delayed on the subway, we were a little late. “Your path to happiness begins when you walk in the door, are greeted and seated, extends through your cocktail, I thoroughly enjoyed a perfect Paloma, delicious and not too sweet, and continues through the antipasti, three of us shared a Caesar salad and their avocado and artichoke starters, dinner, we shared a half order of gnocchi, the lemon pasta and seafood del la mare, and espresso. The service, food, drinks and even the espresso were outstanding. Thanks to our server for steering us to the gnocchi, not at all heavy with a delicious porcini mushroom sauce. Even the Caesar was the best I have had.“
