“The brews at this place used to be touch and go. Over time, they’ve really come into their own. Beer is great, place is extremely friendly. It’s gotten quieter of late, likely due to all the other breweries in the area. But don’t forget these guys - the beer is top notch, atmosphere great, and parking is much better than it was in the past. Thanks guys!“

“Today, I had the opportunity to finally experience Handrcraft Burgers and Brew (it's been open for two years!). It has an ideal location, just west of Bryant Park, on West 40th Street which makes it so convenient (my office is nearby). The manager, Sheila, welcomed me at the door with a big smile and directed me to the online ordering tablet. As much as I wanted to order the customer-favorite, OG Burger, I selected the Oklahoma and was very happy with my order. The burger was nicely wrapped and presented in a white paper (which kept in the warmth nicely). The side order of fries was served with two types of dipping sauces. Overall, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the dining area, the speed in which my order was delivered and the quality of the food were all outstanding. For my next visit, I will order the OG. Can't wait!“

They were all cooked to perfection, and the oysters in the ramen were to die for. I love how they had some vegetarian options that my sister can eat (the agedashi tofu and tofu mushroom donburi). “Decided to pop in here last night because I wanted fries and a drink. It's a cute, cozy, bar. They serve a countless number of beers and small bites. I got the Native, which was their only cider on the menu. I personally don't really like alcohol, but the cider was not bad. It reminded me of beer, but I just prefer sweet drinks if I'm going to drink something. I also ordered the fries which were pretty good and my friend devoured his mac n cheese. Update: had to comeback and retract my statement. They said that the mac n cheese did not sit well the next morning... hahahaI haven't even gotten to the best part... THIS IS A DOG BAR! “I visited for the first time with a junior who loves beer. They only go to the main branch in Brooklyn, New York, but now that they have a branch in Manhattan, New York, they often come here to drink nearby. It's not a very spacious place, but there are a few bars and tables, and since it's a little after lunch time, there aren't many customers. The atmosphere of being able to sip beer in the middle of the city on a weekday afternoon is so lovely. While listening to the explanation of the beer, I ordered a beer with an unfamiliar name, ‘Peanut butter jelly crunchee’… .A mysterious combination of flavors that are unfamiliar with the taste of real peanut butter... .one shot… It was worth falling in love with, this place. Next is special broth… next… As it turned out, the way back was Hellele… Is this a place where people can get drunk enough to drink together and leave half of the other half alone? .other half exploration… lol“

“This place is great for affordable and delicious food. You may have to wait a bit longer here to get your meal than you would at a typical assembly line fast food restaurant, however, the wait is worth it for the much higher quality food you receive. The food isn't the only thing that is refreshing here, as the prices are refreshingly reasonable as well. Whether as a quick stop for a yummy bite when studying late at City College or for a nice casual sit-down meal with friends, this place will leave you satiated and smiling. The staff and owner demonstrate care and hospitality to every guest. They have a great selection of drinks, including alcoholic beverages, which are great for when you just had a long shift at work or need a night cap after class. While you're waiting for your meal, or when taking a break from working on your laptop or reading at one of the cozy seating areas, there is a beautifully maintained Pinball Machine for you to play. The machine they currently have is "NBA FastBreak." It's a ton of fun. You get to select your favorite team to play as before you start flipping your flippers, and with enough practice, you can become your teams Grand Champion. If you keep practicing and coming back you can eventually beat the games objectives and get a high score with your initials on the screen and a ring by your name that indicates you completed the game and won a championship ring. You can pick to play as any NBA team, as I mentioned earlier, and each team has its own high scorer. So, if you have claimed your rightful place as the champion of your favorite team, you can go back and defeat other peoples' high scores on their teams! Such a blast.I post my high scores on the pindigo app and invite others to do the same. My initials are SHP. I love a competition! As the current Grand Campion, I look forward to seeing someone take me down!Happy eating and happy playing!Vegetarian options: They have a very good veggie burger, and the sides are delicious. For those who are looking for a more robust vegetarian or vegan meal, I would recommend somewhere else, as this establishment specializes in a specific cuisine, which inherently is more well suited for omnivores and meat eaters.Dietary restrictions: The staff are knowledgeable about food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please be sure to inform them of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or dietary preferences before you order. If you have celiac disease, I would not recommend this establishment, as they are not able to safely accommodate people with celiac disease.Parking: If you're lucky, you will find street parking on the block or around the corner. It depends on the time of day and the day of the week. If you can get here without needing a vehicle, I'd recommend that. Of note: this is true of any business location in the area, and in NYC at large. Some places are better than others for parking, but this city has not prioritized either ease for pedestrians, nor ease for motorists, and instead has chosen a centrist approach to city planning that has resulted in neither pedestrians, nor drivers being accommodated well.Kid-friendliness: To reiterate: there is an awesome pinball machine here for kids to play! It is a great deal. 3 games for 2 dollars, and a generous free game award for high scores, as well as the random match free game award at the end. If you hear a loud knock from the back of the machine, it's a good thing! It means you won a free game, or your final score matched the winning free game number!Other locations with pinball in the city, where the machines aren't maintained by Harlem Pinball, are more expensive. 1 dollar for 1 game, for example, and winning a free game is a much rarer occurrence elsewhere.Harlem Pinball operates here and at other local spots as well, like "At The Wallace," "Ouaga Sports bar," and "Beer Run" on Broadway and 148th.Wheelchair accessibility: There is currently a scaffolding outside, which is always frustra“

“Nestled discreetly in an underground setting. The Boardroom exudes an intimate charm with its sexy and moody ambiance, dominated by dark tones of black and red. The hidden location adds an element of exclusivity to the experience, making it an ideal spot for a memorable evening.During our visit. I had their house cocktail, Charlottes Dilemma, and it instantly stood out as one of the best cocktails I ve ever had. The unmistakable presence of strawberry and cucumber notes added a delightful twist to the overall flavor profile. Meanwhile, my partner opted for the classic A.M. Prescription. Both drinks were well-executed choices with visually appealing presentations. The servers at The Boardroom proved to be both knowledgeable and engaging, enhancing our overall experience. A particular highlight was an impromptu whiskey-tasting session facilitated by one of the gentlemen on staff for my partner, where the two forged a genuine connection over their shared appreciation for whiskey. The small bites menu, though not sampled during our visit, offers a convenient option for those looking for a quick bite to complement their drinks. Though the prices tend to be on the higher side, I found them to be justifiable, considering the upscale atmosphere and the attentive service providedI'd absolutely recommend The Boardroom to anyone looking for a refined and sophisticated evening out.“

“Underrated foood! I love that while this is an American restaurant, they are still able to add Latin flavors of East Harlem to a few of their dishes on the menuWe got old bay fries, the shasuka, and avocado toasts. Everything was well made and delicious! Great food and awesome vibes, couldn’t ask for better tbh! I absolutely love it here!I also had dinner here in the past and I really enjoyed the food then as well“

“Embarking upon the gastronomic journey that is Barnea in the heart of Manhattan, one finds themselves in a culinary dreamscape, where each dish serves as a verse in an epicurean sonnet. This establishment isn't just a restaurant; it's a symphony of flavors conducted by the maestro chefs, with the bustling, yet impeccably orchestrated, service reminiscent of a New York minute—swift, efficient, and without a beat missed. Our odyssey commenced with a parade of appetizers that whispered tales of the sea, the earth, and the ethereal realms in between. The king salmon crudo, a dish that seemingly swam from the ocean depths directly to our plates, offered a refreshing prelude with its delicate texture and zesty accompaniments. The Barnea egg Benedict, a celestial reimagining of a brunch classic, was poached not just in water, but in a potion of culinary magic, making each bite a revelation. The polenta fries were like golden beams of sunshine on a plate—crispy on the outside, whisper-soft within, proving that even the humblest ingredients can be elevated to haute cuisine. Crispy dumplings, a playful nod to the global palate, danced with flavors that were at once familiar and novel. Patatas bravas, a dish steeped in tradition, were reborn here, fiery and bold. The beef carpaccio, a testament to the art of simplicity, melted away on the tongue, leaving behind a longing for just one more bite.As we ventured into the main course, the narrative deepened. The duck confit risotto was a masterful blend of textures and tastes, each grain of rice telling a story of craftsmanship and care. The glazed beef short ribs, tender to the point of poetry, were glazed in a sauce that could only be described as liquid gold. The rack of lamb, an ode to the pastoral, was a symphony of succulence and seasoning, while the tournedos, a ballet of beef at its most tender and flavorful, performed gracefully on the palate. The chef's special miso black cod, a dish of understated elegance, whispered secrets of the sea with every forkful.Ah, the grand finale of our gastronomic ballet at Barnea, where the curtain call was as sweet as the symphony preceding it. Dessert is, after all, the encore that every foodie soul yearns for, a final note that lingers long after the performance has ended. And what a standing ovation our choices garnered! The Key Lime Pie, not merely a dessert but a voyage, transported us to the sun-drenched groves of Florida with each bite. Its delicate balance of tart and sweet sang a duet with the buttery, crumbly crust, a harmony so divine that even the angels paused to listen. This was not just a pie; it was a slice of bliss, a creamy whisper of dreams made tangible.La Noisette, on the other hand, was a masterclass in the art of subtlety and sophistication. A ballet of hazelnuts, chocolate, and cream that pirouetted across the palate with grace and elegance. Each spoonful was a brushstroke of flavor, painting a portrait of indulgence that was as exquisite to the eye as it was to the taste. This dessert was a love letter to the senses, penned in the language of sweetness and texture. To dine at Barnea is to partake in a feast for the senses, a testament to the art of cooking, and a reminder of the joy that can be found in a meal not just eaten, but experienced. Would I do it all over again? In a New York heartbeat.“

“Hearing PJ Horgan's was reopening with new management, my wife & I went the evening it opened. Nice experience. I had a very tasty hamburger & french fries & the fries were REAL, not from a frozen package. My wife had devil eggs, also quite tasty, I had 1 of them. The crowd was diverse in terms of age & race, nice change from the usual. The inviting setting also included a varied playlist of music. One Dad with a young child left as there was no kid's menu, but he could've given the little boy some of his meal. I hope Horgan's will eventually have different kinds of live music, but avoid trivia nights. All in all, a nice evening & we'll be back.John“

“Been here 3 times now over the past year.Ambience is nice: Modern Industrial and lively crowd. Many Beers on Tap and different pouring sizes. They do not let you try beers but have small 4oz Pour.First two experiences were 5/5 with friendly and attentive bartenders. My most recent experience was a bit off. Bartenders seemed a bit less enthusiastic and did not really get good energy from them. After first drink closed out and left.“

“Huge afterwork spot.Get a reservation! Always. This place gets slammed unexpectedly.Every single interaction I've had (3) even though it's been jammed packed the staff had ALWAYS been the best experience. Close second is the spicy pickle martini. They are kind even if stressed, they go in order and fairness, they protect your space if others are intruding on your table. This is for sure my go-to!“
