“10/10 highly recommend. Read about Potluck Club on the infatuation and they were spot on. Potstickers were delicious. The salt and pepper chicken was a first for me, but also delicious. And we had some noodle dish and added the hanger steak. Again delicious. Staff was so friendly and all busting their butts. Really nice to see them working as a team!“
“Solid food and good ambiance. Good for a date or to catch up with friends.A friend and I got the tuna tartare, uni spaghetti, and broccolini to share since we weren’t too hungry. Each dish did not miss.Service was friendly but if I can be picky, I think the amount of times my water was filled was a little excessive and at times distracted me from conversations with my friend ??♀️“
“What a find— the food is next level delicious, fresh, beautiful! This was truly an unforgettable experience and will recommend this place to everyone!Stand out dishes: Pad Pa (spicy but delicious) + Pumpkin Custard ( wow wow wow).Thank you to the lovely staff!“
“Our hotel concierge recommended this spot to us for a nice, easy casual night out. The food was delicious and flavorful - much more so than your typical Thai. The staff was pleasant and welcoming and the venue is pleasant. Definitely worth a visit.Vegetarian options: They can alter several dishes to be vegetarian. The tofu was great and flavorful.“
“Pecking House had some of the best fried chicken I have had in recent times. It was elevated and you could tell there is an extra level of sophistication to their chicken. Different flavors, different techniques and some Asian fusion aspects that pair so perfectly well with the classic American style fried chicken. Cornbread was excellent, dirty fried rice was also superb and the chili chicken sandwich really hit the spot. Can't wait to return to Pecking House in the future! Service was also excellent; super attentive and next level for a more casual place like this one. Don't sleep on the Peanut butter pudding!“
“Let me start off by saying, if you want to complain about prices, don't even walk in the door. To get the optimal experience at any restaurant, you have to pay to play. So expect to spend about $70-100 per person here, this is a spot you take someone on a knock-it-out-of-the-park date or group gathering, you can't be a cheapskate. Now, to the food. Vietnamese BBQ is an intimate experience. Order the 7 course beef so you can try everything while the staff explains and helps you cook your meat. The electric grills are of the highest quality, the same ones they use at high-end Japanese yakiniku places, so the smoky taste on your cooked beef will be perfect. If you want to order a la carte, I highly recommend the Tomahawk, Madame Prawns and Charred Uni. Like I said, this is a place where you share your meal with friends and family so all the food is portioned that way.“
“Good upscale style vegan Asian fusion restaurant, although portions could be bigger. If you want a big satisfying meal I wouldn’t recommend coming here.I do highly recommend the Japanese sweet potato and sushi (can’t remember which roll). I wouldn’t normally order vegan sushi but this was surprisingly delicious even though there was no fish, so definitely worth it! We also had the Singapore noodles but that was just alright, very light and not much vegetables.“
“The food we had here was really great! Even though we appreciated the waitstaff for informing us of the ongoing happy hour, we felt rushed throughout our dining experience. There seemed to be a lack of proper pacing with our orders, which made us feel that we had to order quickly. These were minor issues, and despite it all we still provided a suitable tip.The waitress, however, upon noticing the tip came back to our table to ask if everything was ok. She mentioned that the tip we provided was below the amount suggested on the credit card machine. In my opinion at least, I don't think this was a proper way of seeking feedback (if that was even the intention). I would suggest that management finds other ways - perhaps a follow up email with a brief survey. Trying to have us explain why we gave the tip we gave doesn't seem like best practice, especially right after a meal. Keep in mind, the tip was not on the low end either.“
“This Asian Fusion restaurant was pretty crowded when we got there, and they kind of messed up our reservation so we were waiting outside, but it really wasnt a long wait and the waiter kept updating us on our status so we never felt ignored. The food is pretty ok; it's an Asian Fusion restaurant so obviously the food might not be on par if you were to go to a store specializing in one Asian cuisine, but, it still was pretty good.“
“We went to Atoboy because hard to get the reservation of Atomix. Food is match the price of $75 prix-fixe. Only outstanding items are Stripe Bass & Korean Pear(forgot to take pictures). Better to have 3 people in a group that you could try everything. We must have Dessert due to someone birthday, but I wouldn’t suggest after we try. Atmosphere is more ideal for younger group.“
“It was an amazing experience that I give 5 ⭐️’s The menu was innovative and interesting and I love that the chef guides all the courses that come out of the kitchen. Being sea to table ensures the highest quality food and the technique from chef Daniel shines through in every dish. I will definitely be back!“
“This Thai restaurant serves up the most tender duck curry I've ever had! It pairs perfectly with rice. The drinks were so stunning, served in adorable pineapple and coconut containers, instantly transported me to ThailandWhet your appetite with a refreshing papaya salad!Mouthwatering BBQ short ribs!Tangy, sweet, savory, and sour—all in one delightful bowl of Tom Yum!The mango sticky rice was absolutely heavenly! Creamy, chewy, velvetyThe vibe was lively and vibrant highly recommend this place“
“Atmosphere is warm and service and food are excellent. It is clear that staff take pride in the food they serve, and it does not disappoint! Don’t skip the lamb with hot honey. Wow! The restaurant was a little loud as they do have a larger tables available- a pro and con depending on what you are looking for. Definitely worth a visit!“
“Amazing quality food! Offers a wide variety of Asian cuisine. Our vegetarian friend was very happy she could order any food she wanted on the menu without having to check the ingredients. Love the tiered seating layout too. Would definitely revisit to try other dishes.“
“What an awesome meal. I absolutely loved this place. Innovative dishes and flavors, but very accessible. The noodle dishes were so good. I recommend trying multiple appetizers among your group. The entrees are an odd size - they're not small plates, but if you're hungry, they're a little small. So, I recommend getting one more entree than people in your group. Besides, you'll want to try everything on the menu. The pork dish for 2 is not really for 2. I probably would have had the whole thing by myself. ? Loved this place a lot.“
“We booked this place strictly off of seeing their viral Instagram post from @righteouseats and their affiliations with the Win Son restaurant across town. I thought Win Son was a 10/10 dining experience so of course I had high expectations. Service/Ambiance:We arrived as soon as they opened, and we were quickly seated in tables for two with stool type chairs it definitely was a tight squeeze as the place quickly filled up. There is really no where to place your coat if you're sitting in this area unless you walked about 10 feet to the bar are where there was a hook on the wall. Those backless chairs quickly became an issue for my 6'2" frame. Our waitress Sharon was excellent! She was attentive and super friendly and helpful making food recommendations, etc and definitely the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 3. Food:Food was mid for me. The toast tasted oily, the ribs were overcooked AND oily. You def needed that sauce but I wasn't going to pay $7 for a sauce sampler. The once saving grace was the rice. It was flavorful and yummy and the chicken was moist and crispy as it should be. I probably won't be visiting again and stick with Win Son restaurant and bakery.“
“We ordered the lower priced ($40/person) hot pot and sushi rolls option. They brought more food than we could ever eat! It was our first time there so we weren't quite sure what we were doing, but we had a great time and left very full. We'll definitely go back next time we're in NYC! Service was a bit slow at times, especially when wanting to get the check and pay. We were there early in the evening midweek and they weren't very crowded.“
“My family and I went to the Lobster club for dinner and in short it was amazing. The food was so unique but soo delicious, there wagyu dishes especially. Of course we had to get a lobster dish which we ended up getting two orders of, the restaurant itself is so beautiful. As soon as you walk in you see a beautiful scenery. The service was good cant complain about anything they were able to accommodate for my moms birthday and bring out a cake which was very nice and there dessert selection is very unique as well! Overall I would definitely come back, this restaurant is definitely on the pricer side but it definitely worth it once you take that first bite!“
“Delicious food, very friendly and lovely staff. Beautifully decorated shop If you come during the day, you can take photos in a warm corner. But if you come in the evening, the photography angle will look different and beautiful in another way.“
“I absolutely loved it. I went last Friday with my family and we felt so welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious. We were extremely impressed with the hostess Georgina. She was so friendly and had us all cracking up. She suggested we drink the rising dragon and it was delicious, we would’ve never thought to try it before her. Great experience everyone needs to go !“
“The night was so great! I hung out with my friends and we had a blast. The food was off the charts amazing. I ordered a bunch of stuff and loved it all. The drinks we had were so good too. We even got this dessert that looked like fried orange, but it totally fooled me haha! You gotta try it if you get the chance!“
“We had a wonderful event at For U, the food is absolutely delicious, I keep thinking about the cucumber salad it’s so crunchy and tastes so good, the sesame noodles are flavorful and so good, delicate and delicious version of that dish, the best I have ever had. And the Peking duck is divine. It’s a wonderful place for a party, they work with you to make it really special. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the space is warm and beautiful. We had a wonderful time and will go back for dinner very soon.Dietary restrictions: Our event served vegan and vegetarian options as well as standard fare“
“The Customer Service was amazing! The host Alex was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were knowledgeable about all the dishes/drinks on the menu that would be best for each person. The food was great and we enjoyed the calm, clean, and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely check them out!“
“The food, ambiance, and service was phenomenal. Our waiter Hira heroically saved us from the flames, gave us princess treatment, was respectful and gave us extra marshmallows and napkins. We highly recommend this place and hope his dreams come true!!“
“Hand rolls here are pretty good! Portions are small but I definitely recommend giving it a try here! My favorite handrolls were the spicy tuna and the avocado salmon. The seared prime beef and the A5 Wagyu were also to die for! Every bite melts in your mouth! The spicy tuna crispy rice was ok. The rice was not crispy enough. There was 4 pieces for $12. The salmon carpaccio was really good! Love the citrus sauce that came with this dish. There was 5 slices of salmon for $16. So it was a bit overpriced. Veggie udon was really good and flavorful! Really hit the spot on a cold rainy day! Parking is a bit difficult but that's the norm in Fort Lee. Overall, fish was pretty fresh but overpriced for the portions.“
“Having been fortunate enough to enjoy meals at a number of phenomenal fine dining establishments, this stands amongst the best! The great company we enjoyed the meal with made it all the more special but the food experience was exquisite, without the awkward stuffiness of white tablecloth establishments… the tasting course was memorable, delicious, elegantly and lovingly crafted within eyeshot, and wonderfully put together. Stylishly served, with all of the staff authentically enthusing and describing dishes, and amplified by excellent wines lovingly paired by the friendliest of sommeliers. They also easily accommodated my wife’s pescatarian diet with delicious alternatives - the truffled buckwheat pasta was truly delicious, I had to steal some! The Wagyu beef was phenomenal and a real treat! This place is too new to have those pesky Michelin stars but they deserve them. I suspect getting a reservation here will get increasingly difficult, and deservedly so. Go now, while you can. And thank you to the whole team who prepared and served us such a wonderful dining experience.“
“Wow, what a dope experience. I already had high expectations for this place, but was still blown away by the food, the drinks and the hospitality. So much thought and flavor behind each bite and sip. This is the type of place that's gonna be the right choice regardless. Hit it up after work with co-workers, go with a group of friends, date night spot, or even a special occasion - I enjoyed my birthday dinner there tonight. Prices are reasonable and approachable, menu items are creative and delicious (the type of things you will crave to have in your life again) and the service is beyond top notch.“
“This is a 2nd floor Japanese-Thai speakeasy in Alphabet City where the food menu leans toward Japan while the drinks are Thai-inspired with the menu designed by veteran NYC bartender and Phetchaboon native Sayparn. Her and her partners opened 11 Tigers in 2022 (year of the tiger which symbolizes success). The staff do an excellent job of mixing food and entertainment.“
“Easy to accidentally overlook this restaurant since the storefront looks like an old deli, but the man who runs the whole restaurant is a very good cook with a unique personality. I highly recommend the berry rice bowl and the kao soi noodle soup. Note, almost all his dishes are spicy but definitely worth going. One of my favorite spots in this city“
“We love Nangma, we come here all the time. Their dishes are really flavorful, we keep coming back for more! The Tingmo bread is so soft and pillowy but still has a nice chew to it, we always get an extra one to go when we have leftovers. The portions are really big for the price. And I have to mention the ambiance and decor, it's surprisingly nice considering how unassuming it is from the outside. We love how the culture is celebrated through the decor. It's also a very large space, we've never had to wait for a table. The staff are all so friendly and helpful too!“
“Great place to eat. Friendly and big portions. I have tried most things and liked them but. My go to order is the Chicken Bimbap Bowl with Tiger Sauce. They are donating a portion of sales to Annandale Baseball on Monday 4/26 and Tuesday 4/27... Just mention Annandale at the register or in the "Special Instructions" when ordering online.“
“The best I have eaten in a long time, since I got Covid I started to have new allergies and had to stop eating sushi. I took a risk and gave them my trust. Incredible, super attentive, good communication, the sushi was fresh. They took all my specifications into account and were very careful about cross contaminationThank you very much I will definitely order again“
“This is our go-to fancy sushi spot. The quality and inventiveness of their dishes is amazing. Everything is absolutely delicious and so fresh! It’s pricy but worth it. Certain dishes are absolutely decadent and the stuff of dreams! My hubby says it’s the best sushi he’s had in the states since visiting Japan, so that’s saying something!!“
“I love sanyuu west! Their sushi and service is exceptional. I tried omakase with my boyfriend for the first time here and it definitely was the start of an expensive hobby, but totally worth it! Their prices are extremely reasonable for 15 courses (1 app, 13 nigiris, 1 hand roll). Will continue revisiting this place!“
“We sat at the bar for happy hour and we had a great time! We made reservations for a party of 3 and we are glad we did because it got busy really quick. All the servers were attentive and made sure we were good and everything was good. Natalia served us and she was such a sweetheart! We definitely plan to go back there!“
“. Their menus are often based on local and seasonal ingredients, creating mouth-watering dishes with simplicity and precision. Their food usually focuses on the freshness and quality of the ingredients, as well as the balance and creativity of the flavours.“
“It's a cozy, atmospheric place. The service is great and pleasant. Very welcoming vibe and cozy place to sit and enjoy. Staffs are polite and doesn't feel rushed like other places. Thai food is always a healthy and great selection of bubble tea.Kid-friendliness: Ambiance is playful with comfortable lighting and seating.“
“I realize this is arguably damming with faint praise, but clearly the best restaurant in Yonkers/Western Westchester county below the Cuomo bridge. High quality ingredients, well-prepared. Excellent service plus a nice view of the water -- at least before dark. Compares favorably to some of the better Manhattan restaurants. To be sure, is it as good as say, Le Bernardin or Jean Georges? Of course not. But you'll get a first-class dining experience for probably half the price, without the hassle of traffic and parking.“
“We ordered the black sesame tuna, spicy pork and egg kimbap. They all were absolutely delicious in their own unique way. The tuna was super refreshing and wasn’t heavy at all. The egg kimbap was also surprisingly very good! I like that they don’t put a lot of rice and it’s more full of their fresh ingredients. 5/5!!“
“Great place to grab hot congee and drinks for a picnic in Herbert von King Park. Also, awesome selection of cooking stuff, ramen, spices, tea, Chinese sauces. Boba tea is a big plus! They have hot and cold drinks, and rice bowls, including breakfast bowls. Vegan, vegetarian, and meat options.“
“I ordered takeout. I tried tteokbokki for the first time and it was so so good!I can’t handle spice food but the rich sauce isn’t spicy. The radishes were so delicious. The fish cake and rice cake have a neutral flavor to me but the dumplings are really tasty. The serving size is really on point. You actually feel like you get what you pay for, not less. Can’t wait to try other dishes.“
“Sensational!! For folks craving bao buns but not the meat -- this vegan shop that just opened up in Chinatown NYC is the place to be. Don't let the size scare you away. The place is spotless and the food is prepared to order. I found them by accident, but will be returning intentionally in the very near future. #Vegan #Vegetarian #HealthyFood #FreshFood“
“Had absolutely great evening in here — the atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious foods you see on the pictures were all SO GOOD! It was also great to meet the fellow Russian speaking person by the name Ayta (or Aita, unsure of the spelling) who gladly took our reservation, check in our jackets and took us to our table! Highly recommend this place!“
“The owners are amazing The inside is amazing you have to come there with your family very delicious beautiful food and I don't go out to a lot of restaurants but this is one of the best I've been to hospitality is awesome trust me.“
“Absolutely amazing food looks just like it does in the picture as well. It was my first time there and Molly helped me pick out what to eat and she was very welcoming and friendly, she definitely upholds a positive atmosphere. Will be coming back.“
“Food was great. Incredible attentive service and the restaurant is cute and has nice decor and is super clean. Love it! Would totally come back. We got the beef noodle soup, scallion pancakes and watercress w enoki mushrooms. so full and happy!“
“Calling all spicy food lovers - head to Spicy Nepal ASAP. Continuing our Nepalese food tour in Sunnyside, we finally tried Spicy Nepal and it did not disappoint, especially in the heat department. We ordered the Bhatamas Saandeko (fried soy beans - wow!), Vegetable Pakora, Chili Chicken Momo, and the Fish Thali. All were perfectly spicy and had lots of flavor. We definitely put that Mango Lassi to good use b/c there were a lot of sniffles. The location (39-35 47th Ave) is tucked away, so I'm bummed that they're almost always empty when I pass by. Hoping more people will give them a shot b/c I certainly will! The prices are also pretty reasonable.“
“The only reason I know this place exists, is because is through local Youtube food reviewer. I normally don't eat late, seeing as PHUHROO's hours are 5:00-3:00AM, but last night I definitely was craving some soup on a cold day.Put in my order, the guy said it would be ready in 15...came in 12 and the food was hot and ready for pickup! Really awesome and fresh. Didn't stay too long inside their establishment, but it looked clean and orderly.I ordered 2 items: first, I got the Spicy Pho with Brisket ($17). First, I comment the establishment on how they pack the pho --- everything looks beautiful, and I only have to assemble it once home in my big bowl. They also include 2 packets: 1 hoisin, and 1 sriracha. The pho was absolutely delicious! To be honest, I typically choose ramen over pho because pho tends to be light --- but their spicy broth was PACKED WITH FLAVOR! I thought I would split up the portions because it was quite substantial, but ended up finishing it! I think you would do the same.Second item I got is something not really advertised: Popcorn Broccoli ($7). I only know about it because of the King (iykyk), and these little fried morsels were absolutely delicious, served alongside a nice spicy, vinegary sauce that cut through all the oils. Another winner! So why 4 stars and not 5? Price transparency. If you look at the menu at my photos, the Pho should have been 16 dollars. (Pho -11- + Spicy -1- + Brisket -4- =16) I just ask that if they're prices are slightly higher (Pho = 11.50, Brisket 4.50), they better update the public menu so customers are not surprised. I think the change was rather recent, and they just haven't gone around to do it. This is a reminder it needs to be done. But overall? Definitely recommend! 10/10 overall, that missing point is over the price transparency. Once they are, 5's across the board!“
“I really enjoyed my visit to 886, which has been on my list for a while! The Notorious TFC was a standout dish. The fried chicken was very juicy and generously sized. The slaw in the sandwich had a really refreshing slaw. The beef noodle soup was pretty good, although I think the broth was a bit too thick. The service was fast and I liked that the restaurant had a lot of cute Taiwanese decor. I would like to come back to try their drinks, which sound really good.“
“This place is so cute. We love the atmosphere as we walk in and was directed to bigger seating area in the back. We love the decor, and the service was fast, the food arrive hot, and the sushi was fresh. My kids and I left happy on a Friday night.“
