“By far one of the best Korean Japanese restaurants. I’ve been ordering from Sea Shai since 2021/22 & the consistency of the food and customer service is always amazing! The flavor of the food is spectacular. I travel to Sea Shai to pick up my order because it is several neighborhoods away, totally worth the drive. The food is priced fairly for the portion and flavors you are receiving. Highly recommend trying this restaurant out. I cannot get enough of the Bulgogi with white rice platter, A M A Z I N G!

The small boneless chicken was honestly huge and the chicken was super crispy. The spicy rice cakes were way better than I expected — especially since I don’t usually like rice cakes.

The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is that it came with no radish, no dipping sauce, nothing on the side.

For $14 for a small order, I’d expect at least some radish, I’d also give up a few pieces of chicken for radish.

Also, it’s definitely more of a take-out spot — the covered patio is nice but not heated, therefore I ate my food in the car since it was cold.

Overall though, really solid food and an easy 4-star meal.“

“I ordered the 8 wings meal, ate 4, and put my remaining 4 in the fridge for a day. They were still crispy. I don't understand how this place manages to defy physics, but I'm happy they can. Bonus notes: the wings are BIG, they have hands down the best fries in the area, and the super friendly employees love giving you small bites of other things to sample. “We went for the all in one box because it was easily enough for two. The honey soy flavored chicken was fresh, crispy and scrumptious. It paired well with the waffle, and the fresh pineapple and ripe tomatoes. The box comes with a heap of fries and a mozzarella stick. The milk teas are generously sized, and there are many other tasty looking permutations. The cashier offered us complimentary vegetable dumplings which had a light crispy fried skin and flavorful fillings; I only wish there were more of the dipping sauce 🤩So glad we stopped by for an impromptu date.“

“I got so lucky when I randomly stumbled upon this place while getting lunch at work. As someone who loves chicken teriyaki trust me when I say you must try theirs. I have been searching for the last few years all around the bergen county area for the best chicken teriyaki and I have found it here. This is my absolute favorite! I have tried probably 50+ restaurants and nothing can beat this. From the way they prepare chicken, to the homemade sauce they use, the perfectly cooked rice and the avocado, egg and dumplings they add on.... it is one of the greatest combinations i've ever tasted. On top of that, their sushi is always delicious and fresh. If thats not enough, they also have fantastic owners and workers there. I always get a warm greeting, and they're thankful for my patronage. This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! “My wife and I enjoy Korean food and have tried a lot of places around Northern Jersey. This spot is close to home, so we figured we’d give it a shot. It ended up being better than expected. The food was solid—flavorful, though a little heavy on the sauce. Still hit the spot. Parking isn’t great, but that’s pretty much the norm around here. You order on a big touchscreen, and the food comes out pretty quick. Not a ton of seating since it’s more of a takeout joint, but it gets the job done.“

Disappointed that they didn’t have popcorn chicken but substituted for wings. They were amazing .not greasy at all. Very impressed. Will definitely go again. “This place is a neighborhood gem for Korean food. Their food is actually very tasty and fresh. Although their Korean BBQ meats are all pretty good, I think they make an exceptionally good kalbi (marinated short ribs) if you're in the mood for grilling at the table. However, their best dish is Yook Gae Jang - a spicy beef broth with shredded brisket meat and some vegetables. It's so hearty and delicious! Perfect to warm up the soul during the colder months! Not only is it their best dish, it is the best Yook Gae Jang in all of Bergen County imo! Anyway, you can't go wrong with any of their food choices here. All fresh and quite tasty.

Parking lot is pretty big, and the restaurant is clean but dated. And there is a cold draft in some areas of the restaurant because of all the vents that suck out the smoke. Service is fast and attentive, but the language barrier limits an enhanced service experience. But I've always found their service to be just good enough for me. And prices are fair and they give you lots of side dishes/appetizers with your meal. Oh, and ask for hot tea and they will give you a cup of Korean corn/barley tea which you'll enjoy! Good job Seoul Galbi!“

“Inside the Hackensack Hmart is a food court. And inside that food court is this humble little food stall, where I go whenever the craving for a bowl of Korean black bean noodles hits. Jjajangmyun is a popular Korean-Chinese dish made from black bean paste, meat, and diced vegetables. When I'm suddenly fixin' for that slurpy bowl of saucy noodles, this is where I come.

Why? Because it's close to my commute, it's quick and casual, reasonably priced, and consistently good. As an added bonus, there are lots of other offerings in the food court in case my eating mate didn't want to eat the same thing.

Ordering is simple. Go to the counter, place your order, and they'll give you a receipt with a number. If you find seats nearby, there's a little screen at the stall that tells you when your order is ready for pickup. If you end up sitting far away, don't fret. There's an automated loudspeaker that clearly calls out stalls and ready order numbers.

My go-to order here is (of course) the jjajangyun. The menu offers a small variety - regular (with meat and veggies), uni, and spicy. Spice lovers, you're going to love the spicy jjajangmyun (#4 on the menu). The jjajang sauce is also delicious on rice, and I've loved the shrimp fried rice with it.

Serving sizes are decent, and it comes with the tiniest cup of yellow pickled radishes (a standard condiment for this dish).“

One of the best all you can eat sushi spots around. My friends absolutely love the sushi, and I appreciate that they have plenty of delicious vegetable sushi options for me. They also offer a great selection of hot appetizers, which is always a plus.
The only challenge? Having to choose between fried Oreos and ice cream which is a seriously tough decision! I do wish they allowed at least two desserts per person. Also, it would be great if they added a simple rice option to the menu.

“From the start from when we first walked in, the place smelled heavenly of fried chicken. The restaurant was clean and had no odor except the delicious smell of fried chicken. We were there at 5:30. The service was friendly and my husband and I were even told about the plastic glove that the napkins and fork were wrapped in when the guy behind the counter handed us our food. That glove came in handy when we ate our wings. We ordered sweet & spicy and BBQ. The coating was crispy and delish. Just how I like my wings. Not over sauced and hot! Definitely going back!!“
