“I recently went to a Korean BBQ place in New Jersey for the first time with my boyfriend, and it was a really fun experience! We went there for dinner, and overall, it was a nice spot to try something different. The price was on the expensive side, but I guess they do things a bit differently here, so it felt special.
The meat tasted super fresh and was cooked perfectly. What’s cool about this place is that they cook the meat for you at the table, so you don’t have to do it yourself. It’s a great way to enjoy the food without worrying about overcooking it! The unlimited side dishes were definitely a win. There were so many to choose from, and they kept refilling them, which was a nice bonus. The side dishes added a lot of variety to the meal, and everything was fresh and flavorful.
The service was really nice, too. The staff was friendly and respectful, and we even had a little chat with them, which made the experience feel more personal. They were attentive and made sure everything was going smoothly.
While the food was delicious, I did feel a bit hungry after the meal since the portions weren’t super big. For the price, I expected to leave feeling full, but that wasn’t quite the case. Because it’s a bit expensive, I think this place is better for special occasions or important events rather than a casual dinner.
Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d consider coming back for a special event. The fresh meat, unlimited sides, and great service made it a memorable first visit!“

“I ordered fried wings and BBQ wings from Seoul Chicken, and I have to say, they were the best wings I’ve had in a long time! The fried wings were perfectly crispy, while the BBQ wings had a delicious smoky flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. The wings arrived fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor.
I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend if you’re craving amazing wings!“

“It is not often enough that great atmosphere and ambience pair together with great food, but this place has done just that.
Since their renovations last year the quality of everything from the plates to the whole interior design has improved. Not only that but the food is one of the best in the neighborhood.“

“Great little spot for a mid-week dinner, especially if you like momos. It is tiny with only three tables but I didn’t have any problems. The service was super friendly and the food was excellent! I started with the wai wai sodheko, a dish I’ve not had before and it was so good. Like a crunchy instant noodle salad with lots of spices. And then the chef chili momos - also really good. And everything was really inexpensive. I’ll be back!“

“A Hidden Gem Near Pod Hotel
We stumbled upon this cozy spot near our hotel and had an early dinner. The place was quiet at first, perfect for conversation, but it filled up quickly by the time we left.
Service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed their Platinum Sake, while my boyfriend tried the Japanese IPA—both excellent choices.
For starters, we had pork gyoza, edamame, and uni croquette. Each dish was comforting and satisfying. For mains, I went with the veggie curry rice from their specials—light, flavorful, and perfectly spicy. My boyfriend had udon soup with shrimp and egg, adding a bit of chili oil for an extra kick.
This was one of the best meals we’ve had in NYC, and the prices were incredibly reasonable for such high-quality food. It brought back fond memories of Japan.“

“10/10 from the moment we walked in the door! 10/10 -Service was impeccable! Our server was attentive, polite and efficient. She provided recommendations and made sure to touch our table after each course was delivered to ensure we were satisfied and didn't need anything else. Kudos to the manager for accompanying the waitress when our entrees were dropped off to provide his pairing recommendations to enhance the flavor of our dishes ( lemon squeeze on the Bok Choy- PERFECTION!) 10/10- FOOD! We started with the Tuna Crispy Rice. I'm not a fan of Tuna however my partner loves it and we both thoroughly enjoyed this dish. The rice was nice, crispy and hot and presentation was great. The Beef Short Rib was absolutely the highlight of our mains. So juicy, perfectly seasoned and tender- just wow! This dish came with side pairings of 3 sauces, pickled onions, salt, pepper, lettuce and cilantro so that you could experiment and taste to your liking. You can't leave here without trying this. This is also a great entree to share as it is a considerable amount of meat. The Japanese sweet potato was a pleasant surprise. My partner wasn't sure of it when we first ordered but his thoughts changed immediately after the first bite. This was damn GOOD. The Bok Choy was fresh and very tasty and the Korean Fried Chicken had my partner in a chokehold. 7/10- DRINKS were good but a little weak. I had the Future of Ronin which was tasty and my partner had the Wynwood Mule. Very tasty but could've used an extra shot. 10/10-DESSERT WAS BOMB! We had the cinnamon roll and if I don't do anything else, I will be back for this! Don't skip out on dessert here like ever! Overall our experience was top tier here and is HIGHLY recommended! We will def be back!“

“The noodles are amazing, and every dish is customizable. I love the scallion ginger, but I've had other flavors too. I ALWAYS get the seitan, it is so good! I think they make the seitan in house, there's something unique about the texture.“

“Ottimo ristorante di Ramen (giapponese e non quello "tarocco" o fatto con quello istantaneo del supermercato) che offre anche una fantastica selezione di ravioli. Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per la media della città e acqua gratuita. Posto piccolo, accogliente, staff cordiale e velocissimo. Porzioni corpose quindi ordinate con cautela o non riuscirete a finire tutto.“

“4.5 for a takeout order of the classic banh mi. Bread was a great texture, crispy crust with soft inside, nice balance of pate and tender meat with shredded pickled veggies. I just forgot to ask for spicy and I would have enjoyed some jalapeño and hot sauce as well, but that’s on me. Very excited to have this place now since I haven’t had a banh mi this good in western Queens.“

“What a surprise on the upper east side! Was able to have a conversation without a big crowd, and had plenty of room at the bar before taking our table. Very welcoming and unassuming staff. The food was Asian inspired and imaginatively presented without sacrificing portion size. Recommend getting several dishes to share and get a taste of everything. Will be back!“

“We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

“We were in the city for 3 nights. I made reservations for the second and third nights. Left night one open. I found Saar online, it was less than a block from our hotel so we figured we'd give them a try. So glad we did. Nice place. Great, friendly service (Karim is the man!), and excellent food. I ended up cancelling the reservations I made for night 3 and we went back to Saar. Give them a try if you like Indian food. It was amazing!“

“I realized I’ve never left a review despite ordering from here for YEARS. E-chiban has some of the best sushi in town for quality and price. It’s one of the few places I get delivery from and the quality and portion size is always great. Their prices have gone up, but I do feel with how much they give you it’s worth it (especially the salmon sashimi dinner)! Their delivery driver (Mok?) is always so kind, remembers my name and order, and is great at his job. It’s nice being a regular here. I’ve tried other places nearby and they don’t come close imo.“

“Miss home, so searched up solid taiwanese spot. The pan-fried dumping 鍋貼 ("guo-tie") was exactly how I needed it to be. The popcorn chicken was not as salty as I thought and had a thicker coating than the other ones I have tried in other restaurants. Overall, I was very happy to have visited.
Coming back for the dumplings again.“

“I grew up in Elmhurst and getting skewers at this neighborhood staple as a snack was always a treat I looked forward to. Now, I’m happy that we can buy as many skewers as we dare (before we pass the threshold of waking up with a sore throat the next morning). This Chinese BBQ skewer cart is a no-frills, mom and pop food stand on the corner of Whitney Ave & Broadway by the LIRR tracks. Most of their skewers cost between $2-$3; they’re perfect for a late night eats adventure! The seasoning the sweet Chinese couple uses has just the right amount of cumin, heat, and spice. We sat at one of their 3 tables this past Monday evening and saw a steady stream of customers lining up for their grilled skewers. When all 3 tables were full, a 4th table and set of stools was set up as well. The cart is at their spot daily between 5:30pm-1:30am - you’ll find them if you see the smoke!? Skewers On Broadway 百老汇烧烤 / Broadway BBQ Truck(85-23 Whitney Ave, Queens, NY 11373)? Hours: 5:30pm-1:30am? “The pork soup dumps was a SOLID NINE OUT OF TEN. Was not expecting to walk in here but they had a solid deal of $6.95 for the pork soup dumps specifically. You get 6 in one order. I know what you’re thinking, they look alittle sweaty but they’re good! Temp was perfect where it wasn’t burning your mouth. The skin of the dumpling was nice and thin. Soup was rich, can’t complain. Match this was a coke and it’s the perfect recipe. I got 2 orders. Only down side is that I wish they spaced them out alittle more. They got stuck together . Did loose like 3 dumps that fell apart. Just a rinky dinky place. Unsure if I’ll go back for anything more than the dumps but it was a vibe. They need to get new menus. I saw ALOT of orders fly out there. They must be doing something right“

“Had never been before nor heard of before. Popped in for a small but special occasion celebration ( 3 people ). Everything, with the exception of the horrendous coat girls, was really great. The coat/hostess girls are unintelligible phantoms who mumble w scowls. However once we leave there pointless presence we are to the real start : the Sit-down and Dine.
The food was all great and we went in blind. We also had some great drinks overall throughout and a great waiter as well. Our only regret is not really trying any of the steamed fish, but we will likely be back. Note to Owners-86 those hottendous front coat staff“
