“Came last night with my husband, and the service was amazing! The person at the door and our waiter were both incredibly nice and welcoming.

Unfortunately, we were starving and ordered the tasting menu, but we had to wait quite a while before getting any food. Then, everything arrived at the same time—literally around 14 plates. The tables are tiny, so there was absolutely no way everything could fit. Thankfully, a table for five was available and they moved us there so we could actually fit all the food. Otherwise, I honestly don’t know what we would have done.

I’m not sure what the idea is behind bringing an entire tasting menu out at once. Even the proteins, which are essentially the main course, arrived together with everything else, so naturally, by the time we got to them, they were cold. I would definitely recommend pacing the tasting menu and bringing the dishes out in courses. It would make the experience so much better.

The flavors are definitely there, but I do think the tasting menu is overpriced for what you get. The only dish I really didn’t enjoy was the crepe. I also ordered an espresso martini at the end, and unfortunately, it tasted like watery coffee with alcohol.

I understand the restaurant is new and there are always things to adjust in the beginning, so I genuinely hope this review is helpful. Besides those issues, the service was wonderful, the staff was lovely, and the place itself is very cute!“

“Generous portions. My favorite was their kalbi and tofu soup. The perfect amount of fat and it was not overcooked. It’s just like the way I would make it with pear juice. They also refill on kimchi and radish. We got the combos during the lunch special.“

It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.
I do wish there was a way for the restaurant to communicate this to avoid problems with new customers who may be expecting quicker service.“

“The food here was great. We added this as a random stop on our way home and it did not disappoint. The dumplings were so perfectly crispy. We ordered several different specialty rolls and they food came out so quickly. It's nothing special on the inside but a lot of the best places aren't! “I rarely write reviews for Uber Eats orders, but I wanted onigiri and this spot was nearby with delivery, so I placed an order. I chose Steve’s onigiri and the soft shell crab onigiri. Steve’s onigiri was outstanding; it was flavorful and the hot sauce provided a strong spicy kick. I expect to keep thinking about it until I can have it again. The soft shell crab was equally enjoyable. I will certainly return to order Steve’s onigiri and will stop by whenever I am in the area.“

The brussel sprouts are hands down the best I have ever had and same with the sweet potatoes. To be honest - everything is absolutely delicious. What makes it so special is you can truly tell that care was put into making everything that is served. Even the way it is displayed shows the amount of effort that goes into the preparation. The food is not over-seasoned or trying too hard to do something different - it is simply cooked well and with good ingredients, mixing which for some reason seems to be rare these days. The steak is honestly as good as steak I have had at much fancier restaurants. This is what fast casual should be. I am the biggest fan. I highly recommend. You will be full after - but the good kind of full!“
