“This place has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Queens. A quick walk past the kitchen and the friendly staff on the grill upon entry and you are already excited about what’s to come.

Service is attentive and they offer you a lot of help with the menu if needed. I noticed the table next to me was sharing a bottle of ouzo. They noticed me looking and gladly offered me some. It was a great experience.

Keep in mind they can get busy on the weekends and on holidays.“

The meat is juicy, the bread is soft and if you like spicy sauce this is a unique home made salsa that you won’t regret. I order it and ate it in less than 5min. “My wife and I came here on a Saturday night around 9:30p after leaving another nearby bar that was just too loud for us (we're not the crazy club/loud bar party types). We met up with another couple we've known for a long time.

Death Ave was extremely accommodating to us. We were seated in a private booth with curtains, the service was fantastic, and both the drinks + desserts were phenomenal.

First off the food was delicious - started with well poured cocktails to accompany our Pikilia (we especially loved the spicy feta!), followed by the most scrumptiously seasoned lamb chops (Paidakia) EVER, and ended with heavenly home cooked Milfei Napoleon! (With a little extra to take home, FAB!). Our server Tony was great, yet meeting Yiannis and Lia, and taking their recommendations, put this evening over the top! We were so pleased with the evening that we left with hugs! This was certainly a memorable dinner out, and we will be back!!!“
