“Had to leave a review - excellent meal! Burger was homemade and not a thawed out patty from a food supply box - even the tomato was freshly cut and juicy. The apple pie and coffee were perfect. My five-year old loved her burger and fries! Also - great attention to little ones here - very sweet staff. Would absolutely eat here again with my family.“

“We staying at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/ Meadowlands and Foodies Diner is about 1 miles from the hotel. Cute little place. My Wife and I we like th atmosphere. This is our first time here for breakfast. We order Greek omelet and Fruitie tuitty fresh toaste with 2 coffees. The fresh toast is very good but the omelet need more meat in it. “We had an amazing experience here this evening. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and chill. The simple artistic decor creates a serene atmosphere. The food is delicious. We especially loved the beef tartar, duck, miso cod, milk bread, and shirt rib. Sticky toffee pudding was rich, but somewhat delicate. Cocktails were well balanced. Everyone was extremely attentive and the attention to detail made the entire experience one to cherish. I highly recommend this place. It's tucked away, but worth the trip. “Our server Katie, hands down the best person I have ever met, sis came over with the most energetic attitude, filled my water within 30 Seconds of me sitting down, she answered any questions I had about the menu (there were quite a few) she was so attentive and made this experience one of the best ones. “Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“We came here on a Sunday early afternoon and had one of our best recent dining experience. We live close by so we went in hoping it would be a gem and it absolutely didnt dissappoint. The garlic naan might just be the best we’ve ever had. The mussels were very fresh and not sure if it’s the season but the flesh was super fat. The sauce it was cooked in was also very very good. Dipping the naan in that sauce was straight heaven. We also ordered the rotisserie chicken, which we thought was a bit pricey at first but man, it was cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy skin, JUICY all throughout, with grilled lemons and a decent sauce. The service was also phenomenal. Our server had great energy, and provided us the perfect balance of attentiveness and space.
The vibe of this place is also top notch. The modest exterior is only hiding the spaceous, modern, and elegant interior.
Overall, we could not be more thrilled about this find and will definitely be coming back to try their drinks and sea bass dish! Highly recommended for an absolute treat.“

This is fine dining that also puts you at ease as a customer. Service is polite, prompt, but never overbearing. The dishes like being reintroduced to old friends. We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

“From our first steps to our departure, everything was AMAZING. This saturday evening was out last in NYC before returning to Montreal and The Smith Midtown made it PERFECT. The food was more than we could even expect. The seafood tower is quite an experience, treat yourself! There was a pleasant breeze for enjoyable temperature. The minus, the seating. The cushions are too soft and chair not moveable. Sink too far into the low chaisr to be able to eat a meal. Great for sitting back and enjoying a drink but not for upright eating. Need proper chairs for eating. Crispy artichokes were good to be shared. Branzino done well. Ribeye dip was good but a bit salty. Sweet potato fries good. Butterscotch brulee was OK. Would not get that again. Did not feel rushed.“

“Went to Orchard townhouse on a Monday with my bestie she got a glass of cab sauv and I got chamomile fields, which I loved. For appetizer we got the prosciutto & stracciatella, which was fantastic! Lastly, we split the burger and the kale Caesar. They were nothing to write home about but good nonetheless. I loved the vibe in this place it was cozy and intimate. I will say my only complaint is we felt a little rush towards the end and that surprised us since the place was no where near closing nor was it busy.“
