“Authetic korean restaurant serving some good Tang Soo Yook! Very nicely fried and portion is generous! we also tried their seafood jjampong and it was good. I bet the heat is even perfect during colder weathers! I would love to come back and try their jajang. so hopefully soon.
Inside was clean and spacious and service was very good. We were asked if we wanted tea or water which I appreciated. we also had some fried pork left which we got to go and the staff gave us extra sauce! we felt so welcomed.“

“It is not often enough that great atmosphere and ambience pair together with great food, but this place has done just that.
Since their renovations last year the quality of everything from the plates to the whole interior design has improved. Not only that but the food is one of the best in the neighborhood.“

“The noodles are amazing, and every dish is customizable. I love the scallion ginger, but I've had other flavors too. I ALWAYS get the seitan, it is so good! I think they make the seitan in house, there's something unique about the texture.“

“We were staying at the Tarrytown house estate and decided to visit Goosefeather for dinner, not having any idea about the restaurant other than that it was located on-site. As Chinese-style martial artists, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Cantonese -fusion menu options as we walked in. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar. What an auspicious turn of luck! The bar offers not only the full menu, but the chance to watch professionals at their craft. We were taken care of by Mariana and Sara, who were busy yet still highly attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, and explained everything even before our questions had a habce to leave our lips. We started with some standard drinks (a spicy martini, and one of their mocktails with Ron Zacapa rum added in). Solid pours, balancing the flavors of the drinks with adequate alcohol to keep things fun). Next week ordered the spicy rice cakes and the potstickers. Each was perfectly done. The potstickers were crispy but not burnt, and paired with a just-right spicy Chinese mustard. There were four per serving, which served to whet out appetites while leaving us waiting for more. Next, we got the spicy rice cakes. These were just hot enough to let the tongue know, but the spice built pleasantly. The plate was pretty big, and the two of us had more than one or two helpings each. Finally, we had the Crying Tiger Tuna. The lightly seared and seasoned tuna was paired with avocado salad, pickled gooseberries, and sweet goji berries. Delicious! To cap it off, we switched up our drinks for two of their signature cocktails. Sweet emotion is a pumpkin espresso martini with a smoky bubble of deliciousness in top. Love in an Elevator is a wild rum ride of flavors I'd never think to blend, such as apricot, chocolate, and lemon. Overall, while pricey, the experience, the food, and the atmosphere made it worth it! As a bonus, we were watched over by a really cool portrait of Bruce Lee!“

“Food was good. Sweet and sour chicken: chicken was cooked well and seemed like better quality than other places. Sauce flavor was not amazing. Everything else was pretty good and authentic Hong Kong dim sum. Staff look professional and you can tell they work hard. I have to be back on the weekend to try the baked pork buns! “

“I really like Lucas Sin, so I was expecting this place to be a little more. My expectations aside, the staff was overworked even after 8:30pm, but they were still courteous. I would say this place would still rank much better than Panda Express (there's one down the street), given that this is kind of like a make-your-own type of place (think Sweetgreen, DIGG, etc.) but with a proper Chinese flair (again, contrast with Panda Express).
I would say that the seating area was a little not well-maintained, but you are served with a bowl used for a take-out anyway, so just take it to a place you feel more comfortable eating.
Vegetarian options: Build-your-own, others are clearly marked on the menu.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan.“

“I came here for lunch with my swim team and everything was amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the company, and the food. It’s like a Chinese style Chipotle, where you can customize your own bowl or try a signature dish. The staff was super friendly and the artwork on the wall was eye catching. Would recommend coming here! The only thing is it’s a little pricey and if you want to add meat or seafood to your bowl it costs a few cents extra.“

“A generous sized bowl of very flavorful noodles topped with seasoned Impossible meat crumbles. By NY standards $12.95 for this portion is an absolute steal! Everyone else selling similar dishes are in the $19.95 and up and smaller portions Although advertised as spicy ?️, I did not find it spicy at all . Next time I will ask fit a bit more spice I am not sure ? f I didn’t mix everything up very well, but as I got to the bottom , it taste a little on the salty side It still was delicious and great value for this dish While not a ? vegan restaurant, they do have several other vegan options clearly labeled They also have other locations in NYC , so check them out“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“Love the place, it’s cozy. Food is great. Cocktails are nice. According to food portion, recommending party of 4 to get a decent portion to share for each and able to get variety of food on the menu to try. Peking duck, soft shell crab (on special menu) and shrimp dumpling are my favorites.“

“Tonight I experienced something new, an extra-ordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about Chinese food cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Yummy City's famous motto: 'Chinese food is not hard to make.' But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Yummy City, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest Chinese food cook in UES. I will be returning to Yummy City soon, hungry for more.“

“It my first time coming to their new location in UES. I have tried them several times in midtown. I ordered sesame sauce cold noodles and chicken with chili sauce today. Compared to the other location, the cold noodles were too sweet for me, and the fragrance of the sesame sauce is not strong enough. As for the chicken, it was actually much better than the other location. I remembered looking for water after eating it at the other location, because they were too generous with the MSG. However, this time at the new location, it was very delicious. The chicken was tender, and I was able to taste the chili oil and the chicken itself. Overall, it was a nice place to grab a bite.
Vegetarian options: Some dishes and cold noodles are vegetarian.“

“One of the more unique place in the Bronx. Its actually a hidden gem and I'm surprised it hasnt gone viral. If youre asian and dont speak spanish here, they're gonna mess with you.
Parking: if youre not local, its best to just uber or take the subway here. Not really worth getting your car messed up or waste time driving around to find parking.
Kid-friendliness: kid friendly. space is limited.“

“Fantastic food and service. This is exactly like the food I enjoyed at similar Chinese lamb skewer restaurants in Korea. I went in expecting to have to use Korean because a few reviews said no one speaks English, but instead I encountered non Korean servers and had to use English. They also spoke Spanish. There are menus available in Chinese, Korean, and English. You can get served here regardless of language. I highly recommend if you want something different from typical Korean barbecue. It’s also BYOB.“

“Love this place, a great buffet with a great customer experience. People at the register are simply the best - the way how they close the overfilled boxes - just like a pro. Never asked for extra $2. Thanks to them. The food is fresh and tasty. All you can eat for $13 or $14, depends on time you are there. Or to go boxes for different prices depending on the size of the container.Wonderful addition - banana and the coke is included for to go.“

“Hands down best Chinese food around the area.I usually make my own Chinese food but when I’m not feeling it I always buy from here only! The people are friendly and food is tasty. We have received stale fried noodles before that’s probably the worst thing.“

“We were in the area and wanted some Chinese food, so we looked around the area and saw that this was one of the higher-rated places. I also noticed that they only take cash and do phone orders. We called on the phone, placed our order, then made our way over. We paid in cash and got the food. I ordered the boneless spare ribs combination platter, which comes with a roast pork egg roll and roast pork fried rice. We also got a small wonton soup. The boneless spare ribs were really good, striking a good balance between the sweet and savory that boneless spare ribs typically have. The roast pork egg roll was delicious and savory. Everything else, though, was not as good. The roast pork fried rice was pretty bland, as were the wontons and the broth that the wontons came with. For the price, though, it was reasonable, so I am not too upset.“

“I haven’t eaten such authentic Hunan cuisine in a long time! The boss is from Zhangjiajie and the homemade wine is delicious! The pickled radish in the "soy skin" hot pot is also delicious and the beef is very tasty. I wish the boss a prosperous business!“

“We loved it. We ordered their spicy tripe appetizer and it was on point, not too spicy and not too stinky. The flavor of their chow mei fun was on point as well. Great overall! They also have a great lunch menu on weekdays.“

“We ordered like 5 or 6 things. Everything was very good to excellent. Essentially the same quality as Soup Dumpling plus, a smaller menu/seating, but nowhere near the same crowd. Service is very good, we love the manager! You cant find better soup dumplings than here in this area without having to wait. Everything all homemade and legit authentic. Their spicy szechuan dumplings are the best you can find in NJ and they offer rare and delicious sauteed snow pea leaves and watercress... Their crab/pork soup dumplings are slighty larger but have a thin chewy wrapper, lots of broth - are phenomenal.“

“I am vegetarian and love to get the scallion and ginger stir fry with seitan. You can order it light/med/high spice level to your preference. The noodles are so tasty and you can really tell they are fresh. The mango tea is an awesome lightly sweetened beverage addition to balance the spice of the noodles.“

“Had our second meal there tonight—even better than the first. Flavors are complex and delicious, and there is clearly great care taken with each dish. Recommended dishes: crispy cucumber, lobster with ginger and scallion (a special tonight—outstanding) and shredded pork with garlic sauce. Our new favorite Chinese restaurant in Westchester. “Best restaurant I ever went to! And for those who are complaining about why they don’t deliver to you, it is because their driver only has a bike, they want him to be safe and deliver at the customer’s liking. I recommend the chicken wings, five out of five. The food are not slimy as the other restaurants have. The owner and the manager lady is very nice. The food they made are also made with care and fresh ingredients. I recommend going there. And they do not have a racist towards Hispanics. Hope this helps for those that are looking for a restaurant to eat and for those who think they have a grudges towards someone from a certain country.
Kid-friendliness: They give candies even if it’s not Halloween, they are nice enough to give some of what the kid likes, sometimes.
Wheelchair accessibility: Most restaurants would have chase a wheelchair person out already, not them. They are never an outside looker. They are nice and are not greedy or selfish“

“This is a great location. Service is great plus it’s always busy. My theory is, when you visit a panda express location that’s busy. The food is being consistently made. So you’ll get fresh made food every time. Versus going somewhere that has no foot traffic. The food is sitting under a hot lamp for a while so it won’t taste that great.“

“I’ve been coming here from when I used to go to Tenafly Middle school. This place was my go to for after school snack.
Price is still amazing for lunch deals around $8~$12, portions are generous, and ultimately foods are great.
It’s been more than 10 years but I’ll still come to Tenafly just for Good Taste general chicken tsp combo.
Highly recommended.“
