Spicy Chicken Yakisoba Noodles

These stir fried noodles were served with a variety of vegetables and the protein of my choice. I wanted a kick, so I chose spicy chicken for a small up charge. The entree was garnished with sesame seeds. This was a scrumptious plate and I was beyond satisfied.

The portion size was very generous and it is definitely intended for a group of 2.

I decided to explore this location on a whim and I’m glad I did. I’m truly looking forward to return to explore the other dishes, especially anything from the Teriyaki section.

“We came in a party of five - two adults and three kids. We ordered one tsukemen, two ramen (deluxe and miso), one kid’s meal, and one fried chicken (karaage with Korean spicy sauce). All were delicious and filling. Anime is playing from a projector on the wall, which kept my boys occupied and quiet 😉. Staff were polite to us and the kids. Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. “I always get the galbi tang when I come here. They use actual beef ribs and it’s absolutely delicious. The mandoo and dumplings are all great steamed or fried. Every dish I’ve had here from the noodles, meat, appetizers have all been delicious.“

We tried the fried calamari, Pad Kana Moo Grob (Sautéed crispy pork belly with chinese broccoli in garlic sauce.), Pork Chops Vegetable Garlic Sauce, crab fried rice and for dessert, the mango coconut sticky rice. “We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

The spicy rice with beef have a good amount of space. Both noodle dishes had a very good amount of noodles and toppings. The noodles themselves were so fresh and bouncy. We even had leftovers the next day and they still tasted really good.“

“I found this restaurant randomly while running errands, I've lived in the Bronx for 8 years now and this is by far the best pad thai I've had in all of New York. The pad thai was so flavorful and I got the beef with it. I also ordered a passion fruit iced tea and it was the perfect refreshment in this 100 degree weather. I've been seeing the mango sticky rice on TikTok recently and I was happy to see on the menu they also had Mango with sticky rice, which was packed with flavors as well. Will definitely be ordering from here more frequently.“

“Ordered take out. Was looking for a great tasting sesame chicken made with white meat. Saw the reviews online and took a chance because so far the Asian restaurants I’ve been to do not make DELICIOUS sesame chicken. This place did not let me down. The sesame chicken was so delicious! I was so happy! This is, now, my go to place for sesame chicken. I didn’t like the dumplings. They were very doughy and chewy. No good. Next time I’ll order the Gyoza. Maybe that’s not doughy. I’ll try the fried rice too and see how that goes. But for sure I’ll be coming back!“

“I’ve been to Star Sushi several times now, and every single visit has been great. The owner, Anthony, and his staff are always super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers — it’s the kind of place where they remember you and your favorites.

The fish is always fresh and the rolls are consistently delicious! My go to is the Star Tower. The amount of fish is very generous and it blends perfectly well with the rice, avocados, roe and sauces. It’s honestly one of the best sushi spots around, both for the food and the people!“

“I just realized I’ve never reviewed Myung Dong Noodle House, even though I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. That’s probably because every time I visit, I’m completely engrossed in how great the food is.

Don’t be fooled by the name “Noodle House” — there is so much more here than just noodles. From comforting tofu soup and traditional Korean soups to an excellent variety of classic dishes, the menu offers something for every craving.

What truly sets this place apart is how wholesome and satisfying the food feels. Honestly, “healthy food” might be a more fitting name. Many of the dishes have a real sense of well-being to them — creative, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared without ever sacrificing taste.

The General Tso's Chicken was really good! (I asked for extra spicy and compared to other places where they miss the mark, this place actually made it spicy!!) Love it!

The Chicken with Broccoli with garlic sauce was not too bad. I do love how tender and properly cooked the chicken turned out....but the garlic sauce seemed more on the bland side. Was lacking the garlic flavor.

Both egg rolls that came with the combos were alright. Lacked the crunch I usually expect but was a nice big portion.

“This is my go to place for Chinese take out not because of its closeness to where I live, but because the food is good. I will say that it seems to get pricier each time. Last week I ordered a half chicken and a beef and broccoli that came out to just under $40. At these prices, it will no longer be my don't feel like cooking alternative. At least not as often. The food was excellent at least.“
