“Went with family who raved about this place. It was old school with great service, the owner made me a Moscow mule after I stumped the server! Everyone else ordered prime rib and enjoyed it, my fried chicken was lukewarm and not crispy. Shared a butter cake dessert which was pretty good. The inside is definitely giving a retro vibe and love the sign out front.“

“Nice spot right on the water with a varied menu. We loved the raw oysters and the meat and cheese platter. The duck wings were a bit on the tough side but the sauce is a winner. The blackberry margarita sounded great on paper, but in the mouth it wasn't the best combo. They had a band playing in the bar on a Saturday night. Last night, at about a few minutes to 8pm, which is closing time, I stopped and the owners took great care of us. Anywhere else and typically you would get “sorry, it’s closing crime!” This was not the case at Chenzas Twisted Tacos! They fired up the grill, fryer, and whatever else to accommodate my family and I. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the place was immaculate. “Barrow is a Williamsburg want to be. The pseudo health food is anything but. Their chicken wrap was below standard, no taste, all mayonnaise. The service inexistant if you call handing two napkins and forks to a customer as service. Water is self-service from piled up plastic cups and carafes .It was a very disappointing experience.“

“Went for lunch while in the area and was pleasantly surprised. I did a quick search for gluten free and found this place. My mother has Celiac and was over the moon that she could have anything on the menu! My shakshuka was good, she loved her chicken sandwich. But the star of lunch was the fried calamari. “Love lane kitchen is a staple of Mattituck like Love Lane itself. Great food, cocktails, atmosphere, and service. Prices are fair. Unfortunately, this place like the rest of Love Lane becomes horribly overcrowded with tourists over the summer or weekends in pumpkin season. As a small restaurant, it gets CHAOTIC and completely ruins the experience if you try to sit down for a meal during these times. Rule of thumb - don't go in the summer or on weekends!“

“Came here the first time I visited Rivehead and now I make sure I leave time to visit each time I come back! I l always order sandwiches because they have not yet disappointed! I've brought my whole family as well as friends here and every single person has LOVED it. The place is family owned and it looks probably a lot like it did when it first opened. So cute and old fashioned. Also, I love their egg creams and their chocolate shakes! Definitely worth ordering. Everything is reasonably priced and just perfectly made. It's just nice to have some simple foods perfectly made! Highly recommend to anyone in town for the day. “I loved the old world charm of this hidden gem.While traveling in Riverhead it is infrequent that I am not on a main road.I searched Restaurants in Riverhead was rewarded for my diligence.We shared an appetizer of the “Stuffies” which turned out to be the best baked clams I have had in years.My dinner meatloaf dinner ( true comfort bliss) came with soup of the day, a wonderful creme of tomato soup. This soup was so good it reminded me of the saucy taste of good baked ziti.I was going to order one of the specials which was sauerbraten. One of the last portions were served at the table next to us. “5 star food 3 star service It's nothing to impress by looks, but the food is superb. Just outstanding! The seating is very tight if you dine in the upper dining area. We will definitely be back, but I would request the lower area. It's spaced much better. The evening we went, it was packed house and our server could not keep up. She was nice, but it was difficult to get her when we needed something. Our appetizer plates weren't cleared before our meals came and we were 4 people at a small table. My chair of if I moved at all, backed up into party next to us. But again..the food is unbelievable! That will bring me back for sure.“

“This is actually called Tiki Joe's, it stopped being the Beach Hutt a few years back. Google, if you are reading this, please update your map. It's a great addition to a beautiful beach. Tiki Joe's has a restaurant, ice cream stand, beach shop, bar and live bands at night. There is plenty of seating and parking but you need to pay to park if you come before 5 pm during the summer. The only down side are the bathrooms. Only 2 stalls and one sink for the women, which is challenging for a place with a bar! Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.“

A friend works at Westhampton Library and she and her coworkers would rave about this place, so I gave it a try and my expectations were exceeded! The hummus is so creamy and not too heavy on the tahini, a personal trait I really appreciate. The tzatziki sauce was some of the best I've ever had out too; it had a great garlic to creaminess ratio that's hard to find. I had a falafel gyro that was absolutely wonderful, it's my favorite thing to get there ever since. Everything was fresh and came with plenty of sides. My father had a lamb gyro, my sister had a beef gyro, and we all shared a classic Greek salad. There were plenty of leftovers and we loved the fresh ingredients in everything. The menu is expensive and reasonable, we can't wait to go back to try more!“

“We were going to drive through Riverhead and decided to stop somewhere for lunch. After googling restaurant options we chose Kenny's based on the location, menu and mention on News12 East End. Right away we knew it was the right location. It was a warm, inviting place with seating at tables or the bar. If the weather was not rainy we would have been able to enjoy outdoor seating with views of the golf course and Peconic River. Tim, the bartender introduced himself and asked us our names. He presented us with the regular and specials menu. The menu is very extensive and I was surprised to see how many specials there were. The sliced steak & smoked Gouda melt was a very big sandwich and delicious. I just wish I had taken a picture that reflected how thick it was. Tim was very attentive and friendly with all the clients. It's definitely a place worth returning to.“
