“Dinner at he Paris Cafe at the TWA Hotel was exceptional. Shaved kale broccoli salad was delicious. Pistachio ice cream and sour cherry pie dessert has left a lasting impresssin .Server Tashare was friendly, timely and attentive. Atmosphere is one of a kind.“

“Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time or probably ever! I got the French onion, which was a special and it was huge and delicious and really filling. Despite being busy, the owner took their time explaining some of the sandwiches to me and warned me that they were taking a little longer than usual to get orders out, but the wait time felt totally reasonable and definitely worth it. I ate inside, which does have limited seating but that was fine since a lot of people seem to order to go. But it’s not far from Maria Hernandez Park so I’d take my sandwich there next time! “This is the best coffee shop in the neighborhood. The staff (shout out Elvis) is incredibly kind and make you feel like the only customer they've ever known. He comes to my dog's birthday parties if that tells you anything. The shop is clean yet dog friendly, small but warm and sunny. The food is INCREDIBLE. I could drink a small swimming pool of their lemonade. Just go - get a biscuit. Or a sandwich. Or a banan bread. I could go on and on.“

“Ordered 4 drinks for the family and paid a reasonable amount! The cookie butter caramel latte was delicious but the real stunner was their New Orleans cold brew! The barista was super nice and, although the place is teeny tiny inside, it feels cozy and friendly. Be ready to circle the block a bit to find parking but that’s typical of the area. I’ll definitely be back!“

“The portions for the Shmacon and Lox Bagel are decent BUT very filling. The shmear for the bagel looks thin but was more than enough for me!

The Iced Tiramisu Latte and Iced Chai Latte (both with oat milk) was great. The oatmilk substitute was honestly amazing cause it made the drinks creamier!

As for the brownie, we got lucky with a freshly baked brownie and it was soooo fudgy and cripsy as well. Super delish.“

“I just ordered a coffee but the vibes are immaculate upon entering. The staff were happy to answer questions and cheery for a lazy Sunday. It’s clear there are regular customers; the barista chatted with familiarity with several customers and it adds to the charm.

It’s colorful with lots of seating, including a booth in the window. There is a restroom, WiFi, and a few outlets. Great variety on flavored syrups. Pricing is slightly lower than average for the area depending on what you want. A matcha is $6 and a small hot coffee $2.“

“I've never tried Kava before and so, I really wanted to check it out! This spot in Brooklyn is a very casual, relaxed, and chill spot for you to hang with friends or get some work done (there's free wi-fi!). The menu is pretty straight forward and you can get either your choice of tea or a cocktail.

I ended trying Blood moon, lassi, Kolkata, and Cinnamon toast crunch cocktails. The cocktails themselves were pretty decent and just tasted like juice. Definitely a cool experience, and I would love to try other spots.“

“Saw that this place had good reviews, we walked 15 mins. from the subway to get to Pando’s and got a great view of Brooklyn’s real estate evolution otw. It was wild seeing decades-old brick structures sitting right next to gentrified/priced out houses.

At Pando’s, the crepes were legit, and the kids loved the New Yorker—oreo bits + chocolate drizzled on top. Would’ve been nice if they could’ve been served with slightly less disdain. Though to be perfectly fair, it would’ve been best to sit outside with our 2 kids, as cafe seating was limited and any noise is easily amplified inside.

I ordered an egg platter that came with 2 eggs, wheat toast and hash browns I pay extra for the chorizo I have no complaints about my food, my husband ordered hummus wrap it was a veggie wrap but I don’t know where was the hummus 🤭 I didn’t taste the hummus at all and I pay extra for chicken bc I wanted to combine the flavor of the “hummus wrap” with the chicken, so that’s my only complaint other than that everything else was perfect 👌“

“A classic NYC establishment with gluten-free options! Chef Cristina answered all of our questions about their protocols for gluten-free pastries. They keep them on the top shelf and/or separate from the other pastries and they are made at different times with sanitized equipment. Of course it is a shared kitchen, so keep that in mind in terms of cross contact. Everything we tried was delicious! My favorites that day were the espresso cheesecake, the red velvet cheesecake cup and the flourless chocolate cake. We will absolutely be back!“

So happy it’s just around the corner from me ☺️. The bartenders are amazing, Jessica is such a sweetheart and makes the absolute best drinks. The owner is super cool and really sets the tone for the great vibes here.
The cook always puts out delicious finger foods which are perfect for snacking while drinking. I especially love when they do karaoke nights and bring in live bands, it’s always a fun time. And when DJ Sound Nice plays there, he always has the place rocking with all types of music.

“I come here often and the people are sweet, the food is good, but I genuinely cannot remember the last time they got my bagel order correct. I’m talking consistently wrong for the past few years. I’m beginning to think they are out to get me.. I almost double checked today, but I saw how clearly the order read, “NO EGG” (currently have major egg ick) and thought…, “you know what? Today they will get it right.”… as I walked home with the brown paper bag… something didn’t feel right.. it was too heavy…. When I opened it, sure enough, there was egg. My order was wrong again. Considering my coffee and bagel cost me $20 with an 18% tip, I’m slightly pissed off. Alas, I’ll be back, but next time I’m checking (I won’t).“
