Only negative was they were sold out of the octopus ( I did order less than an hour to closing on a Friday in Lent , so I’m to blame) . The replacement the Chef recommended and provided was more than adequate and extremely generous. Great spot , great Chef , highly recommend.“
“I've been going here since they opened years ago. I've moved away but still get food from here almost every time I come back to visit (monthly). It's one of the few places that offers endless customizations so I can actually get vegan food on long Island! They even have soy protein!The staff is astonishingly helpful and kind. The last time I ordered, I switched out for soy protein but forgot to remove the bacon when I ordered from the app. They called me immediately before making my order to make sure I wanted bacon in there. Above and beyond my expectations for service.The smoothies are delicious, service is quick and fresh, and they have a ton of options (including plant based protein for smoothies).Always glad to see how well they're doing and that their quality never suffers.“
“Great taste of home for this New Orleans transplant. The crawfish etouffee and gumbo are delicious. The bread pudding is yummy too. There is a well stocked market adjacent to the ordering counter that has many basic groceries as well as prepared foods and regional specialties. “My first impression of this place was that it was probably just a knock off of Katz. That was until today when I tried the Abe Sandwich which had almost a pound of pastrami in it. I have to say, the pastrami was very tasty/flavorful, so much so that I have to concede in that the pastrami was about as good as I remember the pastrami at Katz being. It was a pricey sandwich, about $25 so only a few bucks cheaper than Katz but the sandwich actually exceeded what I was expecting for a small hole in the wall shop. I asked for mustard on the sandwich and was happy to see that they put mustard on the sandwich but also on the side in a cup as well. I ordered online so by the time I showed up 20 minutes later, I just had to walk in and grab my food. Woman at the front was very friendly, I'll most definitely be back.“

Got the Cubano and the Country Fried Chicken sandwiches - so tasty!! Also enjoyed the house made fries - ordered two for two people but one order would have sufficed. Great portions! The only downside (very slight) would be the Mac and Cheese - not bad but not great. It was the only hiccup during the whole meal. Service was quite friendly and efficient; the seating area was clean and comfortable. Parking is easy and, if you have room for dessert, Ralph's is just a couple of steps away (during the warmer days).“

“It was my first time here, a friend recommended it due to the halal opinions available. When I walked in, I was greated right away. While I was looking at the menu the employees asked if I needed help and asked my needs and suggested the halal options. The selection wasn't grand but enough to not overwhelm me. Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect. With such a busy day, that was one thing I didn't have to worry and stress about. I highly recommend!“

“Although the store has been here for a little while, this is my first time going into Charley's. I was prompted to order by a buy one get one for $5 off a special. I figured I might as well check it out with a discount. I order on the appand picked up my order about 8 minutes later It was ready for me. The location isn't big, however it is clean and looks well maintained.The sandwich is about 7 in in length. The bread isn't very thick. It's a compact sandwich. It was as I expected. The chicken cheese steak is like a chopped cheese sandwich. It's pretty cool theyuse sliced pickles. Lettuce tomato and mayo were also on the sandwich. For some reason both my sandwiches were upside down. I had to turn them over. My one gripe is it will be nice if the cheese was cooked all the way through the meat. The meat is cooked put on the bread and then cheese is kind of just plopped on top like a hat. The taste was fine again, what to be expected. It wasn't bad at all. I always judge a meal with the notion of if I would get it again. I would go for this again.“

“Bellmore store is great! The owner, Mitch Cohen is absolutely the most helpful and patient of anyone you could ask to deal with. He spent almost an hour on the phone, helping me navigate ordering on the app which for some reason I was having an ordering problem. “Tried Sandwich Express for the first time today. We ordered the Sarge's Pastrami, Sarge's Combo, Matzo Ball Soup, 3-way Brisket Hero and a Turkey Club Panini. All I could say is wow. The meats on the Pastrami, Combo and Brisket 3 Way were unbelievable. They were packed with flavor and tender. I am still thinking about the Pastrami and Brisket. Prices are very reasonable for the area. They only have a table and chairs outside, which can be a drawback, but on a nice day like today-the chairs are perfect.Definitely want to come back to try a few of the other sandwiches that I saw on the signs.“
