“Kept seeing the ads all over social media, so I finally ordered for the 1st time....Wow is the only way to describe it. They were piping hot when delivered and packaged well.
The patties are a good size and are absolutely delicious. Flaky crusts and the coco bread is as soft as a billowy cloud. Best beef patties. 😋
My favorite is the curry patty but I will definitely purchase again.“

“I grew up eating Jamaican food and this is hands down the best Jamaican restaurant that I’ve been to in Brooklyn! The food is consistently delicious and made to order — no food sitting out on a heater waiting for someone to order. I’ve had the jerk shrimp, curry shrimp roti, jerk salmon, and other items and the food is always fresh, tasty, and plentiful. They sell juices and cake which are also amazing. I’ve been going here once a week since the pandemic started and I’m always so excited to get my food. The owner is amazing and is dedicated to always providing five star service and food.“

“Today I walked into Lucky’s and ordered the stewed chicken and curry chicken. I have no hesitation when saying this might be the best student curry chicken I’ve ever tasted in my life. And believe me this is not my first curry, chicken or stewed chicken. The flavor on both the chickens were impeccable. The chicken was so tender, and could easily be picked off the bone. And the stew and curry complemented the soft rice beautifully. I will definitely be coming to Luckys again. This is my new favorite Jamaican food spot in New York City.“

“I’m using a 5 start review so people see this. These staff members are genuinely disgusting. I’m unsure if it’s the owner or if it’s a manager who was speaking to me, but I came in today after seeing a disabled homeless man asking for food outside (he couldn’t come inside because his mobility scooter was too big) and i decided to go in and ask if they had soup. The lady looked outside, saw the man, rolled her eyes and straight up told me no. Regardless if she wasn’t lying or not, don’t give attitude to people who are consumers or potential consumers. You also should know how long your food takes to cook since I know this place has been open for a while. If food takes 3 hours to cook, you start making it before consumers come in. I ended up going somewhere else and buying this man some soup because no one deserves to be hungry and cold. Horrible service and attitude.“

“i’ve lived in the area for many years and have passed this place several times, but never tried it… tonight I decided to order via Uber Eats and crossed my fingers. to my surprise, everything was very tasty and the food came hot. The red pea soup taste good, fresh and authentic. The Stew chicken, jerk chicken, mac & cheese, and rice and peas, were all very tasty. I called in just to make sure the red pea soup did not contain pork. the gentleman that answered the phone was so polite. Great customer service. oh, and by the way, the red pea soup does not have pork in it… A+ in my book no pork on my fork lol i’ll definitely be ordering from here again.“

“Some people prefer quality over quantity. But this was both. Most cheesiest rasta pasta $12 and added jerk chicken $7 iv ever eaten. Also the portion size was so much that the container couldn't close. Check them out. I'd recommend.“

“If you like great tasting and spicy jerk chicken this is a great spot to get it. This my go too spot for good jamaican food for a good price!
I'm feeling like pulling a point or 2. 6 years later and I'm having an issue. Some staff is making it their business to mettle with my orders all because I needed to correct them one time. I still order 4 dishes 2-4 times a week. If substitutions aren't allowed anymore I wish they would tell me. Im not unreasonable. Loyal, regular customer for 7+years.“

“The food is delicious and portions reasonable, pricing is very affordable however they need to invest in customer service: meaning perhaps offering delivery and taking orders over the phone! If your lunch time is 1hr it is not feasible for you to stand on line half hour just to get food!.“

“I enjoyed this place a great deal. The Guyanese in me was in awe that the plantain fries tasted like my fave fish and chip place in Guyana. The bartender was heavy handed, so not only were the drinks good, but they were also strong. The music was also pretty spot on.“

“What more could you ask for? This spot is open 24 hours. Sometimes it depends and it varies what they have and what they're serving, or better yet, whatever is left. The atmosphere is usually noisy.It's hard to find parking and the streets are in bad condition, but if you're on your way to work, it's late, and you're looking for something to eat, this is a great option. I haven't tried the juice bar, so I can't tell you about that.“

“Boston Jerk City is great! I've been to plenty of restaurants (especially carribean) and Boston Jerk City has by far been the best. The food is always consistantly good and the portions are very overwhelming but great if u like to enjoy the next day or later. I feel like the restaurant should have a more welcoming feel, the thick plastic glass between you & the server is sort of strange but I know its for there safety. But overall, I RECOMMEND BOSTON JERK CITY TO ALL.“
