“6 Restaurant provided the perfect birthday dinner.
Led by creative flavour— the textural experience of the prix fixe & wine pairing really stood out.
Our server massively brightened the evening with her thought and care.
Can’t wait to visit the next time I’m in town!“

“This was one of the most pleasant meals I’ve had in a long time. The service was prompt, and everything we ordered was exceptional. While many Michelin-starred restaurants I’ve visited are excellent, this meal stood out, it truly sparked my palate in a way few others have.“

“My boyfriend and I visited Inga's on the Sunday after Valentine's Day and loved every moment of our dinner! We live down in Cobble Hill so the 20 min walk was easy and I loved approaching this beautiful warmly lit corner restaurant on a cold blustery night. I had made the reservation a few week prior and we were greeted and seated almost immediately at a little two top. I remarked on how impressive the acoustics were for an open dining room with intimate tables and was grateful the music wasn't too loud so we could hear each other (though the music I did catch was pretty cool). The mixed vintage decor and antique light features add to the nostalgic impression that you're being hosted in someone's dining room.
We started with cocktails: I ordered the martini and was very happy with it as a perpetual dirty gin martini lover and my boyfriend can't remember what he ordered, but it was also enjoyed. We had the scallop crudo, poached shrimp, and octopus to start, all of which we loved (the shrimp with the green curry aioli was my favorite). And we shared the Guinness short rib with a side of fries--also so good and every texture was on point! Next time we'll try to save room for that chocolate cake I've seen photos of online and to also try out what looks like to be a great wine list. We also want to have lunch at the bar and order the burger!
We left Inga's with a soft snow falling outside and I realized we were on Cranberry Street where Cher's family in Moonstruck is supposed to live. We wandered to the water feeling very lucky to be in love and alive in this amazing city with such amazing food.“

“Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. The short rib wraps are beautiful salad and baba ghanoush to name a few. Hurry up, you won’t be disappointed!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I booked Dinner Party for my husband’s milestone birthday and hosted 36 friends by reserving the entire restaurant for 2.5 hours. I coordinated with the team from a month in advance, and they were all wonderful to work with. Everything ran smoothly and exactly as planned.
The food was delicious, the space was cozy, and it truly felt like an intimate dinner party at home. The five course tasting menu was served as cocktail style bites and was perfect for the evening. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their other menus.“

“Nice place. It is a bit hidden between two other establishments but once you are inside, it is a really cool place.
Staff was very nice, food was good. Security guard on staff too, a plus!
The place is kept very clean.
If you love sports, you only need to pick the TV to watch. If you are not into sports too much, this is a great place to hang with your friends on the boardwalk.“
“A truly incredible restaurant with amazing food, brilliant service and unbelievable attention to detail.
We were lucky enough to be sat at the back counter watching the chefs at work. The guy who made 25+ portions of spicy nduja rigatoni (plus the same volume of
mushroom spaghetti and rabbit cavatelli) with absolute precision deserves a medal.
Service attentive without being stifling. Standouts were the rigatoni mentioned above and the salsa verde steak. House negroni also very good.
Would return in a heartbeat when next in NYC!“

“I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Dilly Dally for brunch and it was one of the best stops I’ve made in a long time. On the immensely popular Vanderbilt Ave., it’s a standout - a remarkable fact since it’s one the newest establishments to grace said Avenue. Its charming exterior is as inviting as the space itself. Vibrant natural lighting, eclectic music, and art laden walls give it the comfort of a home…which (I believe) is key for a neighborhood establishment. My experience was guided perfectly by the kind, warm, and knowledgeable staff. Attracted by their unique components, I went with the savory breakfast burrito (chorizo/crispy potatoes/hatch green chile) followed by the sweet griddled blueberry corn muffin (whipped butter, strawberry preserves). Both prove to be deliciously creative takes on two breakfast/brunch staples. By nailing a couple of classics, I know they’ll nail the rest. With that, I truly look forward to going back to explore the rest of their menu soon (including dinner, of course) and so should you.“

“This is an amazing place for a couple of drinks and snacks. I have not had an entree here but ordered the empanaditas, not the biggest fan of them as I was expecting something with a bit more of colombia influence and received the total opposite. Otherwise the drinks are amazing and the bartenders are always friendly. The ambiance and decor are my favorite.“

“After the museum, we were a big group for lunch. There was a happy hour menu with drinks and some food options. Tacos were great, spicy and hibiscus margaritas were very good, and those who had sandwiches also really enjoyed. Prices were very fair (cheap even). Service excellent. Highly recommend!“

“Margie’s is an excellent restaurant on the ground floor of the Rockaway Hotel. It’s very nostalgic to locals as it was built where the Rockaway staple known as Gallagher, Snug Harbor and Daltons once stood before the beautiful hotel was built. Margie’s serves up some great food including an excellent variety of prime steak cuts. Their cocktails are excellent and one must taste their staple Irish Coffee which is fantastic. Margie’s and the entire Rockaway Hotel have always been an amazing experience.“

“Excellent food across the board—from the burger to the risotto, you truly can’t go wrong with any dish. We dined at Swoony’s for the first time on the recommendation of dear friends, and the food absolutely delivered. Hats off to the chef.
For starters, I highly recommend the lobster orzo and grilled prawns. As for mains, the burger, hanger steak, and butternut squash risotto were all outstanding. The cocktails were equally delicious.
The ambiance is great, though it does get a bit noisy, and the place was completely full. Service was attentive and seamless throughout. Dare I say I’ve found a new neighborhood favorite? It was that good.“

“Hart's has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. I arrived right at opening (5:30pm) and was seated at the bar immediately. It's super convenient if you're coming off the A/C. The playlist was great and the vibe was calm and unhurried.
The food is where Hart's really shines. The roast oysters with vermouth butter and horseradish were the standout of the night, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of kick. The savoy cabbage with serrano ham and borlotti beans was homey and comforting. The clam toast with pancetta was deeply savory and something I'd come back for on its own. The seafood rice was the one dish that didn't quite land for me. Not bad, just the least memorable of the bunch.
Highly recommend“

“The food was great I went during food week. I had the salmon with garlic mash and broccoli. The meal also came with dessert and an appetizer. You can add a glass of wine for 5 dollars. For the appetizer I had the birria empanada my cousin had the island shrimp I believed it was called. The shrimp👍🏾👍, I wasn't crazy about the empanada. I would definitely revisit this place. Also the run punch definitely punches. Try it out.“

“We chose Arden for a simple NYE dinner and we're pleasantly surprised that it was much more than that. The oysters were mellow, but the bass ceviche with nuclear cham is required as is the polenta. The Coquito was anglacized. I enjoyed the filet with snow crab Oscar, but the Octopus was the stand out (they know their seafood). See you all soon.“

“As a foodie who is constantly looking for unique high-end kosher experiences, I can confidently say that REN is a top 3 kosher restaurant in the world. From the moment you enter the establishment, you feel a sense of calm and comfort. The lighting, the plants, the music, the temperature of the room - an ambience carefully crafted with you in mind. The staff, beginning with Soso and George, are attentive, professional and courteous. They listen to your questions or comments, answer thoroughly and concisely and are not shy to make recommendations. I have been to REN multiple times with my partner and each time I am blown away. The menu, which evolves each time I visit, is filled with unique, nourishing, mind-blowing food. You can feel Chef Ronen's touch in everything. You can taste the decades of professional, perfectionist, preparation with high-end execution that has come to symbolize this fine establishment. If there ever will be a kosher restaurant that can contend for a Michelin Star - REN will be on that list. When I come to REN, I come to satisfy not a physical, but much more so an artistic, futuristic, classic fusion of fine dining. Come here if you want to be amazed.“

“I was delighted at the hospitable, professional and polite staff in here! Place is very clean, staff actually care about the cleanliness which is rare to find dedicated staff. I felt comfortable relaxing on the comfy couches. DJ sx domo was fantastic. Im a picky Guinness drinker and I was surprised at how good it tasted from a non irish establishment.
Will come back for pool, the space is spacious, great lighting and atmosphere“

“So far I’ve been there a few times, had the vegetarian version of the smash burger (Texas toast), tomato soup with grilled cheese, pancakes, and a few other things I can’t remember. Everything is always great, especially the smash burger.
A lot of vegetarian options and they’re all really good, from what I’ve had so far. I appreciate that. The vibe is cozy too.
I especially love that they allow you to buy one pancake because any more than that is always too much. And the pancake is great.“

“My first-time here and the customer service is great, the restaurant is clean and the menu has something for everyone. Food was decent but this was also my first time so I would like to try other dishes. The bowl i had needed more sauce because once its gone...no flavor and dry. The street corn was good and my favorite was the sparkling pear juice that I had two orders of.“

“We were not rushed and the waitress was very polite and we had to wait for her to free up to request a few things: like ketchup and the calamari was good, not the best and not the worse I ever had. It was a nice dinner. My wife had the black rice and mushroom with an egg. She liked it, again good food.“

“Grateful for this space as it is the nearest cafe with fresh juice/smoothies, patties, and access to a productive atmosphere in the new lots Area. The service is excellent and very well in welcoming folks to independently conduct themselves and enjoy what is being served. I enjoy coming here for a cup of tea while I write or check my email to begin the week.“

“We miss the old diner but glad it’s open again for American comfort food. We had the beets and artichokes to start that were both simply done but delicious. The limone pasta was the least liked plate. Branzino with beans and steak were also tasty. Their version of Zuni cafe’s chicken was also flavorful. (I ate that chicken at least 1x/month with oysters and a Bloody Mary in SF!) Ultra thin shoestring fries were a hit. If you want bread, ask them for it plain. The toasted one was greasy with oil. Pleasant comforting winter meal. And you get $50 off for $150 on the inKind app if it’s the first time using it.“

“I was there with my colleagues Monday, November 10. We were at the nearby Signal Awards where our podcast received a Bronze prize for our podcast about Italian food, “I Wish I Were a Prosciutto.” We were hungry and looking for something with prosciutto. We had your most delicious pizza with prosciutto and arugula. The crust was Neapolitan perfection and the toppings were bursting with flavor. We were also impressed with the good-as-Nona’s meatballs. The service was outstanding and we appreciated meeting Gloria de la Rosa. You made our special night more special. We live in Connecticut, but we would come back again when we are in Brooklyn, tell our NYC friends about your place, and talk about it on our podcast. We wish you continued success! Thank you so much.“

“Last night I celebrated my Birthday at Kennedy's Restaurant and it was Fabulous time!! I absolutely love this restaurant the atmosphere is so beautiful and elegant I almost felt like I was on a cruise ship * We had a great table by the window overlooking the beach * and I totally felt like I was away on vacation somewhere which put me and my guests in a great celebratory mood. I love the fact that the chairs were very comfortable and cushioned and there were no stairs to use the restroom which was a big plus for my elderly aunt. The food was absolutely delicious we shared the fried calamari platter and scallops risotto for appetizers. The porterhouse veal chop was absolutely divine! We ended the night with a birthday's cake and the live guitarist/vocalist chimed in and sang happy birthday! It was all above and beyond what I could of asked for and me and my guest all had the best time ever! Special thanks to our server Daniel and the Hostess that made us comfortable. Can't wait to go back🥳“
