“Its a tiny yet good takeout spot with a variety of chinese and mexican food and I don’t think they offer dine in. I called the store to order and the staff was really friendly to take my order. I tried their shrimp and mushrooms with the side of brown rice and hot and sour soup. I really enjoyed the food and the quantity was huge for the low price. Great addition to the neighborhood.“

“Amazing food and service! We had 8 people so we got one of the private rooms. We ordered about 12 dishes and they all came out relatively fast. Definitely get the Peking duck; they cut the duck in front of you and display it really nicely. The Juqi fried rice is also really cool and represents the coal stoves of the past. 10/10 recommend this place, especially for large parties.“

“Large quantities and yummy food! We got 2 combos for two for 6 ppl and it was more than enough food. We got the classic spice with bean curd and king oyster mushrooms, chicken wings, and pork belly. We also got the tomato soup with fish and beef with lotus root and wide noodles plus milk custard and spicy noodles. Would come again!“

“On a chilly winter day, Ji Bei Chuan is the perfect spot for hot, delicious soup rice noodles! Ji Bei Chuan offers some of the best fish maw soup, and they definitely don’t skimp on the fish maw, vegetables, and other ingredients.
The Fish Maw Soup Rice Noodles is a great example of the restaurant’s decent quality in food preparation. The noodle soup is filled with great portions of ingredients and a hot, hearty soup that actually tastes of fish maw. Their Fish Soup Rice Noodles also doesn’t disappoint. The soup is made with chicken and pork bone, and it goes really well with the abundance of vegetables and fish slices!
Overall, I’m eager to try out their other soup noodles on my next visit as well as their popular mixed noodles!“

“Service? Superb. Dan Dan noodles? Mouth watering. Crab Roe Pork Soup Dumplings? I'd slap my mother twice for another bite. And I love my mother. That gin Oolong cocktail? I'd let you slap me twice and call me Sally for another sip. My name is not Sally. Their fish dish in that fancy tray over an open fire? I've never been religious but I found god in the first bite. “food was amazing. I was born in Harbin and spent my childhood there so I know exactly what authentic Harbin food should taste like. This is the real north-eastern Chinese food and trust me this lovely little spot will impress you. The price on the menu may seem to be a little bit of expensive but the portion is generous af (thats what Chinese northeastern food are supposed to be). I would recommend double crispy pork slices with sweet & sour sauce锅包肉, stir-fried duo 溜两段 and LanZhou noodles 兰州拉面(this is a Chinese northwestern local famous but still very tasty).“

The jjajang sauce was very flavorful and mixed well with the noodles. Rating 8/10
The cream fried shrimp reminds me of walnut shrimp from Chinese restaurants. Shrimps are big. The frying is good. The sauce taste like mayo, honey and a bit of mustard. 8/10“

“This place has almost everything I want in a Chinese restaurant. Thoughtful, authentic and elevated food with very reasonable prices. Elegant atmosphere. Lovely servers who give great recommendations.
The jellyfish ceviche was the most bold dish on the menu and it was incredible. The fried chicken (app) reminded me of home but the hot honey paid homage to the neighborhood Greenpoint. It was so juicy and might be my favorite fried chicken in NYC. The peppercorn icecream is fun and mapo tofu hits the spot.
Only thing is I wish there's cocktails ☺️.

“My friend and I picked this place because it was close and we were drawn to prices. The food was 5 stars. I got the biang biang noodles and she got the stewed pork over rice. I liked how thick the noodles were and it got more and more tasty as I got closer to the bottom because all the sauce was really concentrated. My friend enjoyed her simple yet comforting pork. She says it was very hearty and the soft boiled egg was the best part of the meal. The service was also very good. I overheard the Johnson at the counter taking time to chat with his customers. I could see him leading his team and hustling to serve each bowl of noodles. The atmosphere was clean and simple. I’d definitely go back again!“

“The environment of this restaurant is very good, very clean and tidy. The food is not only beautiful in appearance, but most importantly, it tastes great, with good color and taste. “This place is a gem! I'm so happy they opened this location! I was sad when the one on Main Street closed down due to a fire but the chef came to this location! The service was great and the coconut chicken was so juicy and tender. My dad is from Hainan so I can say the taste is definitely authentic. They even have clay pot rice! The casserole was very flavorful too. This is going to be our new spot from now on! I highly recommend this place. Definitely try their coconut dessert ~ to die for!“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“This place was delicious. The noodles were the perfect amount of chewy. The flavors were perfect. The dumblings we're so flavorful you didn't need dipping sauce. We got noodles in chili sauce and beef brisket noodles. Both were delicious, the meat was so tender in the beef brisket. I did wish the noodles in chili oil was a little spicer. But maybe I look to white for the full spice version, 🤣. The person who runs the place and takes your order is so kind. She was able to negotiate us a place to sit. It was busy when we got there, only a few tables in total. Service was quick, and this place is busy. Totally worth it. This place is definitely a gem and I am sure we will be back.“

My water is always full, and service is always on point and speedy.
FYI - I do not get the sauerkraut stew I get the chili boil (the red one) and get less peppercorns. I do basa fish and add beef tripe. I share this with my boyf and it hits the spot and the pre-tip total is about $24. With an extra rice it’s about $26.
I’m not kidding pls go here and try this combination.

“When Xiaohong went there, many people recommended the red oil noodles from this store. As a Sichuanese, of course I had to try it! A portion costs 10? and there is no table to eat in. To me, the taste is just edible and mediocre. Chili pepper has almost no spiciness and no fragrance. It is said to be Chaoshou, but in fact it is the chaos of Jiangsu and Zhejiang. It has nothing to do with Chaoshou. Hope you guys have a better experience here!“

“Super impressed with this place! I’ve eaten takeout Chinese food everywhere but this was solid! Prices are even cheaper than in other states and quality is better. Got general Tao’s chicken, string bean in garlic sauce, cheese wontons, and brown rice. Ordered for delivery but they forgot an item. When I called, the employee let me know they had caught their mistake and had sent another driver. Sure enough, within 5 min, the last part of the order was on my plate. Would definitely recommend due to service, quality, and pricing!“
