I was delighted to see that your café offers real, reusable mugs for customers who are staying to enjoy their drinks. I also love that you do not serve plastic bottled water, and offer composting infrastructure to those who want to participate!

That said, I noticed a lot of customers staying to work or read seemingly did not know to ask for the reusable option. Perhaps there are ways you can build that into the ordering routine, to ask folks if they want to have their drink to stay?

By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, so it means a lot to me to see and support businesses that offer circular options to their customers.

Thank you for considering how to better promote the wonderful reusable options that you do have, either in person or on social media, or both!

“Been here a few times, both for meals and drinks. The outdoor space is across from Fort Greene park and is relatively quiet despite being on the street. The indoor space is more intimate and you’re seated very close to other patrons which makes it a bit noisier when the restaurant is busy. The food was delicious, we got a mix of the steak frites, French onion soup, and foie gras. They have an extensive wine menu, so it’s a great spot for casual drinks on a nice day too.“

“This is my favorite place to be . A place with courteous staff, quality drinks, and the kindest hospitality. Also is in the sweet spot for music. Tyler , Thomas, Endo(the owner) always take care of me . It’s been very therapeutic sitting at their counter. There’s a lovely display screen of all the drinks so you can read and select while respecting the flow going on here. They have great convos and always a safe, fun, lively crowd. They are my special taste of relaxation in the city. I enjoy the sangria or a glass of wine. They serve responsibly here so it’s all good.“

Last night my reservation for a steakhouse in the city was cancelled so I went to my old faithful. “We visited Pearl Street for the third time in a year and it somehow keeps getting better. We have always thought it was a great restaurant, but this visit truly stood out. The food was fun, creative, and incredibly tasty, and the service was warm and welcoming.
