“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“Food was amazing for my cousins birthday. I only wish that the steak portions were a bit larger for the cost.
Hangersteak did take an hour half to be plated. Seated at 530 steak came at 715.
Salmon was a little under for my liking and was taking off the bill with no issues. Friendly waitress same girl that did my anniversary dinner there.

“Came here for brunch a couple weeks ago and loved everything about it. The food was delicious, portion sizes large and quick service. I will for sure be back to try the entire dip offering but truly you’re not going to go wrong with whatever you order here.“

“Hart's has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. I arrived right at opening (5:30pm) and was seated at the bar immediately. It's super convenient if you're coming off the A/C. The playlist was great and the vibe was calm and unhurried.

The food is where Hart's really shines. The roast oysters with vermouth butter and horseradish were the standout of the night, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of kick. The savoy cabbage with serrano ham and borlotti beans was homey and comforting. The clam toast with pancetta was deeply savory and something I'd come back for on its own. The seafood rice was the one dish that didn't quite land for me. Not bad, just the least memorable of the bunch.

We enjoyed the calamari, hummus, and the mixed grill and decided the lamb chops were the best part. All of it was delicious but I would order just lamb chops next time, the mixed grill is a nice way to try several meats. The hummus and pita were very good as was the calamari and the sauce it was served with was very nice as well.“

Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful to the point I kept eating way after I was full. The service was also incredible and the staff was super sweet! The prices were also great. “I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“We had a great experience at Dar. The lamb was incredibly tender and literally fell off the bone, making it one of the highlights of the meal. The lentil soup was also very tasty—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The paella was excellent as well, perfectly cooked and very satisfying.

Our server, Cece, was attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the meal, which made the experience even better. The service overall was great, and everything came out in a timely manner. I would definitely come back again for both the food and the service.“

“We either ordered the wrong things or it was an off night for this restaurant because our experience was nothing like what other reviewers say. Restaurant was so noisy that we had to shout to our table companions all evening. The imam bayaldi was oversalted and underflavored and pine nuts doled out as if they were diamonds. The shrimp was hard, dry, overcooked, oversalted and flavorless sitting on a bed of gloppy watery tomatoes. Half the lamb kabobs were ok and half were nothing but gristle. Servers were very pleasant, and helpful with wine selection but the wait for our dishes seemed interminable. What was good -- very good --the rice with the lamb kabobs, the rice pudding and the coffee. But too much money for bad (sorry, but that's what it was) food. As I said, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or maybe it was just an off night.“

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely recommend you stop by!“
