I've visited this restaurant in the Astoria area of Queens, NY with my family and friends.
After playing semi-pro soccer and now as an amateur, I always come here to enjoy a great time.
The food is delicious and flavorful, and the service is excellent.
I highly recommend it to anyone.
And the best part? It's not expensive — affordable for any budget.

“Came here on 10/17/25, service was amazing, dishes were to die for and drinks were amazing. Everything is so good and I definitely recommend coming here. If you come here please try the meringue angel foodcake, trout and cotton candy drink. FYI: THE WHOLE COURSE TAKES 2 TO 3 HOURS SO BE READY TO WAIT. In general though this restaurant is amazing! 🔥👌🔥“

“My partner and I love cafe mado and have previously dined here but not in a minute.
Place de fetes was truly a 10/10 experience. They are so creative and seasonally aligned. The menu is delicious and exciting.

Very welcoming and cozy, modern Thai restaurant with the South East Asian flare you'd be looking for if having visited Thailand before. Decor is a mix of modern and traditional which gives a nice feel, ambiance is relaxed.
I was greeted with friendly & warm smiles and seated at the spacious bar area where Yatika helped me decide food/drink choices. I can vouch for the excellent food quality and selection (Northern Thai & Bangkok) having ordered Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao & Tom Kha soup
Shout out to Yatika for the excellent service and making your patrons feel welcomed and wanting to come back! I'd highly recommend and will definitely be back when coming through the city. Double 👍👍“

“Last December, We traveled from PA just to visit this restaurant for my husband's bday. We visited Brooklyn again this year for the NYC marathon and low and behold, this place was only a few stops away on the subway. And I owed my hubs a lunch anywhere he wanted to go because I lost this year's NCAA basketball pool, so here we are. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. Nothing by our home compares to it. Oysters, lobster rolls, beer, friendly knowledgeable service. We hope to visit again soon. This is the best lunch we've had all year. ❤️❤️❤️“

“The flavor is soooo good, the food great. the staff is amazing, Ian is so nice and kind I wish the management would be more caring about ambiance, the lights are sooo bright that it hurts, I have passed by so many times and never try it because is so bright, it looks like a cafeteria. “We had dinner reservations for Saturday. Service was excellent and professional. Host greeted us at the table and asked how we enjoyed the dinner. It was a nice touch. The menu is largely seafood. We had the bronzino special with scallops and octopus appetizers. All very delicious. Glad to see the Shell has survived the pandemic and doing well.“

“Phenomenal experience! The food was all delicious and the service superb. The General Manager is perhaps once of the nicest people we've ever met, and he truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. We discussed how we had been so busy during our trip to the city that we didn't even have time to try NY pizza. During our tasting menu experience, an "off menu" item was brought to the table by the GM himself. Under the cloche was A PIECE OF PIZZA FROM HIS FAVORITE LOCAL SPOT. We will never forget this night and highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a romantic, fine dining venue. We will be back!“

“Docks is an institution! I am so glad it is still around and going strong. 40 years ago I used to hang out there after work to unwind and socialize with my colleagues. We were young and loved the energy the place exuded. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting up with a new colleague for happy hour and it did not disappoint. The bar is exactly how I remembered it and the happy hour prices plus the quality of the food made me well---happy! I shall return but much sooner next time :-)“

“I've been visiting Johnny's for over 30+years. Today I went for a lobster roll which replaced the shrimp roll. last year this lobster was so delicious 😋 couldn't wait till the summer. unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. it is not longer on a garlic bun and now served on a plain hot dog bun :( also flavorless! last yr price was $24 and now up to $28 with no flavor and blah bun. please bring back the recipe from years before. thanks“

“Luke's lobster is known for the lobster dishes, as the lobster rolls but I went there looking for a clam chowder (New England style) and wasn't disappointed. Creamy and tasty. I missed a touch of bacon, but I guess this is not on the traditional recipe.
And next time I should definitely go for the lobster roll.
It's a small and cozy place. You can dine in or take away.“
