“Small place with an old time travel feel. Two separate sitting areas with a nice size bar. Good Tap beer selection. Had the Italian pork sandwich with sweet vinegar peppers, spinach & provolone cheese, it was really good. Staff were great.“
“I ordered the porchetta sandwich. It looked better than it tasted. The ciabatta was not a true ciabatta and did not go with the sandwich. The porchetta was just crisped up pork belly and was skimpy on the portion considering the price of the sandwich. The waitress said I can substitute the fries for any of the sides but didn't state there would be an upcharge. There was tiny fine print under the sandwiches that says they'll be an upcharge but it's very easy to overlook. I opted for the warm cabbage side which was very tasty and would order again.My friend ordered the beet salad and that looked amazing. I'd suggest trying that and if I go again I'll order that instead.Lastly, the water glass had lipstick on it. I wasn't wearing any. When I asked for a fresh and clean water glass, there was no acknowledgement about the lipstick, even after I pointed it out. That was unprofessional, in my opinion as a former waitress and bartender.Overall, will I go back? Eventually, yes but it's towards the bottom of the list of things to do.“
“Had lunch here on a Wednesday with my aunts. Seafood dishes were delicious. The hot chocolate was ok, a little too sweet for us, but not as rich as we expected. The wings are on the larger side so if you're more into the smaller wings with less meat on the bone you may not love them.My kids love the pizza. I'm a little more neutral on it due to the crust leaning a little towards a "store bought" type. But the sauce and toppings are spot on.The employees are great across the board. They all seem to enjoy working there vs just "having a job". Good place to hang with some friends or eat with the family.Parking: Depending on the time of day can be a little challenging.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly in the dining room for sure. The bar area has high tops but I wouldn't say that space is kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Not the easiest to access for people with disabilities.“

“First off I have to start this review by saying that their food is great. Been here more than enough times to know that their food and drink is consistent and never fails. My go-to is the classic burger and my wife loves the grilled chicken dish. Fries are top notch. Service is always great. My only issue is the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Theres no sugar coating that. This is actually one of the main reasons I never became a regular. I hope they can go away from the classic pub bar bathroom vibe and tidy things up in there.“

“Tried Hudsons Mill for the first time last weekend and Im sitting here writing this review because I am still shocked how good this place really is. At first it was a little hard to find since it is almost tucked away but don’t let that fool you from the greatness that awaits inside for you. For starters the staff was really friendly from the beginning always laughing and walking around making sure everything is in order. Me and my wife started with the brussel sporuts which are so good along with the sauce that comes on the side... the perfect one two combo!! we both had ipa beers (Motto motto and wrench) they were so great and to top it off our entres which I had the og burger which tasted so fresh and delicious and my wife had the chicken a limon which she could not stop saying how good it was. To top this all off there was a band singing in the background which really set the mood off a great time. Definitely will be returning to Hudsons Mill again!!!“

The veal chop... to die for! Wonderful service the 1st time. Everything was perfect. It was just ok last week, at best. But they were super busy and perhaps short-handed. In any event, there was an automatic 20% tip applied to the bill, so perhaps the server didn't care to give it her personal best. Still, we'll definitely return and recommend Roost.“

Highly recommend getting breakfast here and then checking out the framers market just up the hill. Parent pro-tip, the Ivington location for the farmers market is right next to a playground.Kid-friendliness: I'm definitely calling this one kid friendly. They even had some toys on hand. Also, other patrons were not put off by the presence of a young kid.“

Everything was great, the service, the food came out in a timely matter, there was water ready at the table to quench our thirst. For 4 people spent $200, that's with an appetizer 2 entrees. We had a kid who had fries and someone who had a soup special and buffalo wings (they ate before getting there). No cocktails, 4 sodas; that's gratuity included. Overall, the ambiance is great, right by the train, across from the waters, plenty of parking.“
