“We came for a saturday brunch and it was nothing short of excellent. The manager greeted us and we had some drinks at the bar. The bartender gave us some great recommendations for the menu and the owner even came over to us and introduced himself which was very nice. We got the meatballs, rockshrimp and calamari, lobster guacamole, and burrata which were all incredible and great shareables for us. 5/5 and will definitely be back.“

The atmosphere is fantastic especially in the bar area with a view of the river and bridge. Overall this is one of the best taverns I have ever been to.“

“Bareburger is one of the best places to eat out if you have Celiac, especially this location! The staff is always super friendly and accommodating, especially Kylie, who is a lovely server. I love their gluten free chicken tenders and the fact that their French fries have their own fryer! You also can't go wrong with their Classic Chix sandwich, which I substitute with grilled chicken and either a lettuce wrap or gluten free bun depending on my mood. They also have yummy ice cream and drinks! I highly recommend Bareburger because of their fresh, allergy-safe food and caring staff!“

“Taco Thursday’s! Who doesn’t like a taco? Food is very fresh and best Mexican food around. Margaritas are made fresh with squeezed limes not a mix. One of my favorite places for Sunday breakfast! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.“

Twice, recently, I dined at I'l Fresco with friends and family members; The words they used to describe Il Fresco were: -Fabulous - dinner was scrumptious -Phenomenal restaurant and staff -Tastiest sauce in the world - delicious hot bread out of the oven. -An Exceptional dining experience. -Amazing homemade tiramisu - wonderful desserts -Best meal ever - better than the meals I had while visiting Sorrento, Italy. From my cousin who went back to Belfast, Northern Ireland: I am keen to get back to visit again and hopefully we can visit the fantastic restaurant again, can't remember the name otherwise it would be getting a 5 star from me. “The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

“My husband and I frequent the hotel for events, but it was our first time dining. We had a 5pm reservation, so it was quiet and empty. The food was a bit pricey, but generous portions and delicious. I had the chicken pot pie and my husband had the most tender short ribs of his life. We will likely be back in the future, and look forward to an elegant way to enhance our future events!“

Everything we ordered was great, but our bartender, Neschmy, definitely elevated our experience. She was super professional, very knowledgeable about the menu, and gave great recommendations (plus makes great espresso martini’s). Would definitely come back and sit at her bar again.“

“Do not be put off by the fact that the restaurant is adjacent to a hotel. The vibe inside is hip and modern, and they have the ability to seat large crowds. Most importantly, the food was excellent. My father in law (who eats very little these days) happily ate every last bite of the octopus starter. Our daughters shared a macaroni and cheese starter, and only reluctantly shared with the rest of the family- it was delicious. The truffle fries were also shared by all (huge portion!), and they were crispy, flavorful, and addictive. I ordered the carrot ginger soup (also a large portion size) and it was very tasty- creamy with a little hint of spice. Entrees were wonderful- with the steak dinners being the most impressive. Wine list is impressive (they sell Unshackled by Prisoner by the glass- yum) and cocktails were also creative and refreshing. Would love to dine here again when in town.“

She also convinced me to try the Pumpking beer for dessert and that was a delicious surprise! We will definitely be back on Mondays and/or Fridays to see Jessica and try more of her recommendations! “Tarry Tavern for dinner: Mom had Seared maine sea scallops with local corn and leek risotto and I got the roasted Hudson valley duck breast with pecan cranberry wild rice and sunchoke purée. Unreal. Mom cleaned her plate at a restaurant for the first time in ages and mine was to die for. We shared the pumpkin pecan bread pudding for dessert. Outstanding experience with excellent, friendly service“
