“I used to come here all the time before COVID, and I had the pleasure of going back this week. I was pleased to see that the restaurant had undergone some renos. It looks wonderful! My party of 4 was seated immediately in a comfy spot near the warm fireplace. Service was great throughout the whole meal. Several servers continued to check in on us throughout our time at the restaurant, and they were kind and respectful. I ordered the Fettuccine alla Bacio, which was very tasty! Portions are sizable, too. I'll be back!“

“The food was incredible, amazing point is that the owner recognized me and was excited to see me. However when I asked the server what mocktails they had he said they could do orange juice and cranberry juice. Which is insulting, might as well give it to me in a kids cup. I was there not three weeks prior and the server went to the bar to get a list of mocktails I could have and went above and beyond so I could have something other then juice or water and make me feel apart of the table. It's also very embarrassing when I get told I can have a juice, when the server looked and sounded irritated that I wasn't ordering a wine or cocktail. “It had been quite some time since I’d been here and the food was just as delicious as I remembered!Our group ordered Clams, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, Bow tie pasta with Pesto sauce, and an Arrabbiata pasta that was not on the menu.The pesto dish was practically licked clean . It was a large portion eaten by a tiny friend who seldom finishes her plate . The fact that she she managed to devour the entire plate speaks volumes as to the flavor.. I have to admit that I stole a piece of two because it looked so delicious .I ordered the Arrabiata, which was perfectly spiced. I think each and everyone of us enjoyed our food equally.The staff was perfect. They were very attentive, without being intrusive.I had to take a star away from the atmosphere simply because the overhead heaters in the patio area became too hot, and while they were incredibly accommodating in turning them off, it became too cold. Had they been adjustable heaters it would’ve been fine. Looking forward to coming back during the spring months and sampling more of the menu..“

They called to tell me it was a mistake and they stopped delivering already, but when I explained that it was for my kids and we didn't have other options because we were heading home from the airport, they graciously agreed to make the food and deliver it to us! “First time at Trattoria Sei. The inside was nicely decorated, warm ambiance. The food was delicious, very generous portions. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese made with ground beef and veal. Highly recommend it. We also got a salad which was one of the specials and had pickled beets, blueberries, crumbled blue cheese, and it was very delicious! I also have to commend our server, Sophia, who was very attentive to us!“

“My wife and I stopped here in Oct 2021 on our way up to Connecticut after a 5 hour flight from Las Vegas to JFK and battling NYC traffic after getting the rental car. After a full day of traveling, she and I were both exhausted and hungry. The restaurant itself and the pizza were absolutely awesome. “Came here on a whim with a large group (19 of us) after we had dinner up the street. They were super accommodating even though they were very busy. Service and drinks were great, we really enjoyed ourselves! We’ve been here several times before and the service and drinks are always top notch. “Last week, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Il Villagio. The restaurant was highly recomended to us by my wife's coworker. We were greeted warmly and sat promptly. We had a 6:30 reservation. The service from start to finish was warm, friendly and professional. We started with a crisp tender fried calamari and the roasted beet salad. So many times calamari is a hit or miss. This was an excellent version. The beet salad was tender, earthy and sweet. The crunchy pistacios and orange vinaigrette were a nice touch. My wife ordered Chicken Millanese and I ordered Gnocchi Bolognese. Both were excellent. The chicken was crisp and tender. The arrugula was peppery with a drizzle of lemon and virgin olive oil. Great balance. The Gnocchi was a great choice as there was a chill in the air. My definition of comfort food. Recently I have notice some resturants are going with a cheaper grated cheese, not Il Villagio. The Peccorino was perfectly salty and sharp. During our meal several people came over to check on us including the owner. I told he should be very proud of his staff. This restaurant is doing a great job. The provide quality service, excellent food and a warm friendly staff. It was a 25-30 drive for us. A drive I will be doing again real soon. Thank you to all“

“Just had the most magical dinner. We sat on the patio - had incredible cavatelli and broccoli, eggplant and baked penne. Iced cold dogfish beer. Chocolate cake to bring home. The owner is so sweet, always brings a fun energy to the evening. (We had a great convo about the nuance and patience involved in making carbonara properly.) View of the moon, no bugs, homemade bread with the salads. Summer evenings don't get any better.“

“A cozy Italian-American in Mahopac on Route 6, that is worth a trip from anywhere! The review, may sound like hyperbole, but it's not! A friend mentioned it had good food, great prices, and table service and he was going down there, so we all stopped in for lunch. Great decision. The prices are very reasonable! One of the best Italian-American restaurant/pizzerias I've found in years; and I've eaten more than my share of pizza in many countries. Only top quality ingredients are used! We each ordered a different 12" pizza, one for each of us. In hindsight, we could've ordered one pizza that the three of could have shared and would we have been satiated! My significant other ordered a prosciutto and arugula pizza. She had one at Cancino's in Mexico City November 2019 and LOVED it. We've never seen it on another menu here. So, when she saw it on their menu, she ordered it right away! It was perfect! There was about 4 ounces of arugula and the $20 something a pound prosciutto on it. See the photo. No crispy cremated prosciutto chips nor wilted arugula arrived to the table. My friend had the red meat pizza. It looks like about a pound of sausage meat and a whole pepperoni was sliced and put on his pizza. He kept picking pepperoni off his pizza and putting it on ours. What we had looked like a normal pepperoni pizza; there was that much on his! There was a small group who ordered pasta dishes. They looked great also. Yelpers get a 10% discount.“

“This is my family’s new favorite Italian restaurant! We don’t live in Ridgefield but whether it’s dine in or take out, Venice is always worth the drive. Their Sicilian pizza is the best in CT!! I would also recommend trying their grilled NY strip steak, fried calamari or the stuffed mushrooms which are all delicious. My wife is obsessed with their hot antipasto which I don’t blame her. So if you’re looking for a good spot to eat, check them out. You won’t regret it!“

“Wow, so delicious. Packed on a Saturday night, and it's not just because of the ambiance. The food was quick and delicious. I had the bucatini with zucchini and it was so special; savory and rich without feeling heavy. The cocktail list is small but the tequila mule was pretty good. We ordered a ton of food - three appetizers, two mains, two desserts, a cocktail, sparkling water and one soda and the bill came to just under $200 which felt really reasonable. My jeans feel tight and that is fine for me because it was worth every calorie.“

“I hadn't been to Dolce since they enclosed the patio area. The food was excellent as ever and lunch was reasonable. Excellent fresh salads and my chicken parmigiana was excellent, a large portion of tender chicken with a nicely browned layer of quality cheeses. The sauce is not the overly sweet red sauce in so many -laces these days. It had a nice garlic flavor and was big enough for me to take half home. My friend equally enjoyed his sausage & ziti. A top notch tiramisu followed w cappuccino for both of us. Had a little trouble getting the waiters attention at times but he was competent and pleasant. Dolce is also quieter than some of its raucous competitors. Recommended.“

“Was looking for a pizza place in town that had wood fire pizza ovens with thicker crust. This place is awesome! The pizza was delicious, we had the mushroom pizza (New England) I think? And then we had the fried calamari and the crispy cauliflower, which was my favorite! It's not a huge restaurant though, it's smaller but they do have a patio as well. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely come back again when we are in town!“

“After eating here a few times for dinner and or lunch we decided it was a great place to do our office holiday party. I had noticed they have a private room with large glass doors and inquired about booking it. They got back to me really quick with a better deal than anything else local we could find, meal options, etc. But honestly we would have paid more. They printed us out menus for our event. They lined up two tables for dining and have the extra tables for a white elephant gift exchange. We chose to have appetizers served family style (nanas bread with cheese sauce and marinara, crispy meatballs ( these were so good!) tomato and mozz salad and calamari) there were a few plates of each dish placed and timed so we weren’t overwhelmed . Then we had four options- chicken piccata, halibut, pasta ragu and a vegetarian option. After this came out we did our gift swap and then had coffee accompanied by tiramisu and a lemon crostata dessert. This didn’t feel like a under thought buffet style party. It came out in courses- we had plenty of time to enjoy each other outside of our office. We didn’t feel rushed. The wait staff was so on top of everything. No one had to ask for refills etc. Multiple managers came in to check on us periodically ( and the owners brother) and they packed up whatever we didn’t eat. We actually took all the desserts back to the office. All in all I would 10000 percent suggest this for anyone looking for a party location. While we enjoyed it for a large office plus spouses Christmas party, it was spacious enough that I could see rehearsal dinners, retirement parties graduations etc. Everyone left happy! We’ll be booking it again in the future.“

“The food was great. I ordered the pork chop with spinach and roasted potatoes. The food came out hot just the way I like it. My friend ordered the chicken Mona Lisa. I tried my Friends entree and I will say what I tried was fabulous. I love Norca the bartender and she gives wonderful service. Norca makes you feel like you don't want to leave, she is very welcoming and warm. I like to visit this restaurant when Norca is working. When Norca doesn't work I don't show up and neither does my friends. Very nice decor comfortable atmosphere great vibes all the way around. The pizza is also great too. I live in Phoenix az and they packaged my order so I could take it home on the plane and then when I ordered for my family for valentine's day they separated the portions to go to 2 different places for me. “Food was good. Service was quick the location is nice but it's a little small. I only had typical El Salvadorian pupusas. They were very good. I would go back for those again but seems like a lot of people came for the soups. Which I didn't try. It gets busy but mostly take out. I would order the Spanish food since everyone there is Spanish. I don't think the Italian side of the kitchen will be as good as the el Salvadorian one since there is not Italians cooking it.“

“Nestled in the corner next to the DeCicco Family Market in Katonah, NY is an unexpected pleasure called the Farmhouse Tavern. The upscale feel from the rich earthy tones, period moldings, and tin ceiling all heighten ones expectations. The talented chef and personable and attentive bar tender, Nick, delivered on every level. We started with Steamed Clams bathed in an aromatic broth of garlic, chorizo, shallots, and white wine. It was so good we asked for more bread and made certain little was left behind. For our entrees, I chose Faroe Island Salmon with a tasty dijon mustard sauce, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. It was a perfect compliment to the Steamed clams. My partner chose their Lump Crabment Ravioli in a Brown Butter and Sage Sauce. The flavors danced on our tongues and were beyond sublime in taste. We had no room for dessert and look forward to returning and adding that in too. They offer live music from time to time, so you may luck out big one Thursday night. Add Farmhouse Tavern to your list and sit at the bar and receive first class hospitality from Nick, a great bartender that never takes his eyes off your glass and provides heaps of hospitality on top. “I have been going to Fortina since they first opened in 2013. Fortina and Decicco's, both located in Armonk Square, were a shot in the arm to downtown Armonk at the time and they both have become institutions in town. Fortina strikes a perfect balance of modern takes on italian food while offering an authentic experience with excellent homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and other "wood-fired" offerings coming out of their ovens. Their menu has few blind spots as everything I have had has always been delicious. I always look forward to new seasonal additions and tweaks over the years. On our most recent trip, we tried their wood-fired wings for the first time. They came out piping hot and juicy. The calabrian chili and maple sauce was delicious paired with the green goddess dressing. For an entree, I had the gnocchi (which I had previously via takeout, and I knew I had to try fresh in the restaurant next time I went). The pan seared gnocchi has a thick, almost creamy pistachio pesto drizzled with brown butter and cheese - it was fantastic. Inside Fortina has a great vibe with a rustic but modern feel of the wood covered walls adorned with eccentric art including a portrait of Bill Murray from the life aquatic which has been there since opening. Service is friendly and relaxed. Fortina is always a great choice for some of the best pizza and pasta in the County as well as an excellent weekend brunch.“

“I always love the food here. So delicious and so reasonable for the quality. The only thing that can be improved is the ambiance. Why are white Christmas lights blinking in the windows at the end of January? I wish they would update the interior of the restaurant to give it a less dated look to match the oh SO delicious food. “Food price / quality (value) rating 7.5. The atmosphere in the bar area is kind of 70's disco, but tasteful. A large bar , about 24 seats, surrounded by about 8 four seat tables. The two dining rooms are more formal. The menus are really cool, they are electronically backlit so that the pages light up for easy reading. They offer a wide variety of Italian dishes and several interesting specials. The wine prices were reasonable. They have about 8 or 10 draught beer choices, but half of them are too common. A bruschetta and fresh bread are included with dinner. I had the halibut special, which was good, but $45 was a little steep for the dish. The wife had the shrimp and scallops over risotto, which was good. Neither dish had anything unusual as far as flavors or presentation. The service completely fell apart towards the end of the meal, our waiter didn't check on us for about 20 minutes after finishing our entrees, and I had to ask three times for a draught beer list. I was going to have dessert and a cappuccino, but by the time we saw our waiter again, it was time to go home, so I skipped those. The bill was $135 for two entrees and four glasses of wine, which seemed a bit steep for what was received.“

The salad that came with the entree was absolutely delicious. Usually I throw the side salads out they are so bad. The chicken parm was huge, tender, flavorful and the best we've had in the area. The spaghetti was also perfectly al dente with a surprisingly delicious sauce -- neve had a good side of pasta for take-out as usually it is mush. Chicken paillard was okay-- not as flavorful as hoped. Service was very friendly and would definitely return for that chicken parm and salad!“
