They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! “The environment is very warm and feels natural. They used to have a pacman game by the stools on the side, but have gotten rid of that. However, the food is AMAZING. I have been coming here for the past year or so whenever I have appointments or am craving a sweet treat. I love the biscoff and cream waffle but also the k-dogs have been good for when I want hot foods.“

“I had a wonderful experience here. The Butter Cookie Latte was absolutely amazing—easily one of the best specialty lattes I’ve had in a long time. The Caprese sandwich was good and fresh, though it wasn’t quite as memorable as the coffee.

Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. “Beautiful coffee shop on Queens Blvd. I had a cortado and a black cup of coffee. Both were just ok. The food and the pastires are the draw here. Too many delicious cakes to mention. The avocado toast was outstanding. Topped with grape tomatoes, feta, calmata olives, and herbs. Outstanding. I had the spinach and cheese filo dough pie that was great as well. The shop is very well appointed. There's outdoor seating. Service was great.“

“I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.

I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.

The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

They have a wonderful lunch special. All of their food is great, but I particularly recommend the lamb chops, the lemon chicken soup, and the beautiful, piping hot lentil soup I have just ordered on this gusty March day. This place is frequented by people who know good food. It is a family business in every sense of the word. I'm a matcha enthusiast and I have been to Maiko before but never had their soft serve. This was exactly what I needed to satisfy my sweet tooth! The flavor is sweet enough and the matcha really come through - I can compare the flavor profile to Chigi no shiro by Marukyu Koyamaen.
