I only gave it 4 stars for atmosphere because you can't be that busy and popular and it be a really relaxed environment 😀. The kiosk when you walk in is super convenient and the order comes out right there or you can wait in the crazy line to see everything on offer.

Nuff a the food were finished(sold out) but we got the pepper steak w/rice&peas and raw vegetables (shredded carrots and cabbage,love it!) and sweet chilie wings w/rice and peas. Firstly, rice and peas can eat by itself! Well nice!! She wanted oxtail but it was basically done but server(wish i got her name) gave us the few small pieces with the gravy to her rice. Looking forward to trying their curry goat. Represent Jamaican food lovely, support!!“

“The food was good, but they really need to do better about customer service. We had a party of Nine that wanted to dine-in. We were given no help only told us to put the table back after we moved them together ourselves to seat us. Luckily we dine in because we was missing a full order of Rasta pasta. My mom order okra and fish. We were missing the okra so they refunded me a dollar. As we were leaving the young lady approached me saying they gave her pumpkin that she didn’t order or want and asked for the dollar back. I was very surprised about that. “I was unfamiliar with this restaurant, but my husband received a gift card from his colleagues at his retirement party. We came for Valentine's Day and were very pleased with the choice! We started with Old Fashioned and Fried Green Tomatoes. Perfect batter and crunch. The bacon jam gave the perfect amount of bite. Mr. TSwi had fish (sorry - no photo). I had the garlic clove stuffed filet. It was fork-tender and so delicious. Potatoes fried in tallow butter were decadent. We had the Bread Pudding for dessert - and the leftover for breakfast Sunday morning. Overall, great value for the quality of the food. Not ridiculously expensive. Not ostentatious (TSwi wore jeans and a blazer and was well-dressed compared to others.) We will look forward to coming back again soon.“

“It’s become really hard to find consistently good jerk chicken these days. A lot of my former favorite spots have fallen off and with food like this, you can tell when the love and effort aren’t there anymore.
That said, this place absolutely nailed it. The jerk chicken was a home run perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. The rice and peas and the sides were just as impressive. If I lived closer, I’d honestly eat here every day. That’s how good it is.

The only small negatives were the packaging and the limited sauce, but truthfully, the chicken didn’t even need much extra. Overall, this spot is a definite hit.“

The pasta is creamy and a little bit more than al dente which I like. There was a lot of shrimp and it was seasoned perfectly and cooked just enough so that it stayed moist and tender!

This is an excellent deal for salmon and pasta! The salmon is soft, fresh, with sweet sauce to complement the savory flavor. It's a perfect mix of healthy and heavy food.

Curry Goat 9/10
Perfectly spiced, savory with medium curry strength and the meat was super soft and falling off the bone.

Soup of the day 8/10
This is an excellent chicken soup. The broth is thick and savory. The chicken is falling off the bone. Chunks of potato and carrot to top it off. Lots of flavor!

Jerk Chicken Sandwich 8/10
It's spicy and reasonably priced and it comes with some slaw. I think it could be dressed up a bit but it's good.

Kale Salad 8/10
It's a healthy and delicious mix of greens and veggies like cucumber, tomato, mango, corn.

Braised Slow Cooked Oxtail (Large) 7/10
I'll have to try this again because when I got it, the oxtail wasn't falling off the bone like I expected. I think it needed more time in the slowcooker. It also needed some more spice.

Yard Style Jerk Chicken (Large) w/ rice and peas 7/10
The chicken is juicy with mild spice and the container was packed but I think the rice and peas was dry. The coconut white rice is better. Plantains were great.“
