“A delicious, warm dining experience! The staff were friendly and the ambience inviting. I also really appreciated that the menu was designed to be shared and the portions were designed exactly for that, when so often they’re either too small or too big. Food itself was delicious — familiar but not reductive. The pillowy bread is a must, I wish I could eat it every day.“

“Paros in Tribeca is my new go-to for modern Greek. The room is bright and stylish,
blue-and-white Cycladic vibes that make you feel like you’ve stepped onto a Greek island, but it’s the food that brings me back. The grilled octopus is charred and tender, the seafood is fresh and clearly imported with care, and the Bronzino with lemon hits that perfect sweet-salty note. Chef George Pagonis knows what he’s doing. Add genuine Greek hospitality and a sharp cocktail program, and it’s a standout. Perfect for date night or a long dinner with friends.“

“There are many excellent Greek restaurants in Astoria and Ambrosia Garden can hold its own with all of them. The decor is splendid. It feels like you are being teleported to an intimate Greek island. Pavlos, our server, was top notch. Every dish we had was on point. The meal started with fresh house baked bread and olive oil. Excellent. We then ordered the Hellenic salad, tzatziki, a couple of glasses of Cava and some wine. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, my wife and mother in law ordered two branzinos and my father in law ordered the cod special. I loved it all. My father in law thought that the cod was too salty and Pavlos was extremely apologetic. He proceeded to give us a couple of desserts on the house. Amazing. Each are done in house and they are special. We had a sticky cake layer topped with a cream and pistachio. It was divine and then we had their famous orange cake. So good. I finished off the meal with a perfect double espresso. Thank you Pavlos and thank you Ambrosia Garden for a wonderful experience.“

“Came here for Monday lunch. Food was good but not amazing. But the service was very slow. Ordered the standard lunch prefix menu (app, main, dessert) and ended up spending almost 2 hours, mostly in waiting, not what I would expect from lunches.“

“We first heard about Tony’s on Jon Barr’s YouTube channel (prepping for our first NYC visit). Can only say that this is the perfect spot to get food, and then go eat it in Central Park.
Both times we visited the food was great, staff was very friendly & we received our orders within a couple of minutes.
The memorable comment from my girlfriend - “I want to move to NYC because of Tony’s”“

“The food was so delicious! I’m so thankful because I was having a terrible day and really needed something fresh.
The spanakopita slice was huge and came with lemon potatoes! The filling for the spanakopita was stuffed and the pastry was so flaky. I was actually contemplating ordering a side of the lemon potatoes but decided not to, so I was so happy to see them included with the spanakopita. The potato’s were sooo flavorful. The tzatziki had plenty of fresh cucumber and tasted amazing! I also got the lamb gyro, which is only $11 on Uber Eats… definitely a fair price. It was flavorful and packed with veggies and lamb. I thought the portions were perfect, and everything tasted great. I even have enough left over for another meal later. I will say the food was a little on the salty side, but I love sodium lol. Thank you guys for making me such a delicious meal!“
“My friend and I had the most gorgeous dinner at Gaia last Tuesday. We ordered a fantastic Piniot Nior followed by Organic chicken and potatoes with a side of spinach. My friend had steak, all cooked perfectly. The restaurant had a warm and welcome atmosphere. Conveniently located next to the hotel we where staying in, the Gregorian.“

“The whole vibe with Greek auntie felt like I was actually in Greece . All that was missing was the Aperol spritz. The food was incredible and while we had to wait to get a table the wait is worth it. Everything is cooked with love and you can tell. I recommend the branzino .“

“Excellent Mediterranean seafood restaurant. The halibut was outstanding and the Greek chardonnay paired nicely with the fish. My wife had octopus and loved it. The sommelier was particularly sweet and went so far as to procure the recipe for the dressing on her salad.“

“I was craving a Greek gyro, and this place hit the spot :) Overall, it was tasty! I’d give it a 7.5/10. The pita sandwich came with tomato, onions, tzatziki, and on top, some fries! My only critiques were that it would be nice if it had lettuce, and the fries could’ve been a bit crispier because they already started out pretty soft and the travel home didn’t help.“

“I love Pi I enjoy getting my Greek frappe and other coffees from Pi. The pastries are exceptional and if you want to have lunch, you can also have fantastic Greek dishes. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the coffees and food that they serve. I go to Pi every time I’m in that neighborhood.“

“For those with taste buds that were refined summering in Greece for many years, the taste of the souvlaki pita is unmistakably familiar. Warm pita break, pork pieces cut small, just the right amount of tzatziki, and, of course, French fries. The only question that remains is whether to order two, or go directly for three. They have other great dishes too, but the pita is a must.“

“Family Corner is an amazing cozy family restaurant that my friends & fam have been going to for decades! It’s like “Cheers” where everyone knows each other’s name! The food is made fresh homemade with ♥️Love everyday! Their food is so tasty and the portions are generous. The staff & owner makes you feel part of their family. It’s intimate diner throw back to another time atmosphere is refreshing! The traditional Greek food is out of this world and very reasonably priced. And it has a thriving takeout/ delivery business. Neighborhood eateries like The Family Corner - is what makes our Astoria community great!!!“

“So we were out in Brooklyn where we stumbled upon this restaurant and grateful that we did. I don’t even know where to begin, James and his son (which I thought was his brother) are the nicest, hospitable people ever. The food is INCREDIBLE, I mean how do you elevate a green salad, but James did!! Everything we had was 10/10!, from the grilled scallops, to the steak & eggs, down to the mastic gelato. Thank you for a great experience and you will be seeing us again .“
