“I have enjoyed the coffee here a few times, but I recently bought my toddler with me and the staff at Harpoon Hanna's went so above and beyond for him. They gave him a toy, which they absolutely didn't need to do, and they brought out his cocoa and called it coffee (because he wouldn't have had it if he knew it was cocoa). They were so friendly and kind. My son had an amazing time and I will definitely be going back.“

“Went here for dinner on a whim, very glad we did. Nice cozy atmosphere. Everything was top quality, the drinks, the food, the desserts. Everything tasted fresh and the service was great. Oh and the french fries are some of the best I've ever had in my life. “

“I've been coming to Glitter Thicket for years and still feel enchanted every time I visit! It's a charming cafe with a full menu of delicious sweet and savory vegan offerings, an art gallery showcasing local artists, a cozy gathering space where you can play trivia with strangers and feel like you've spent the evening with good friends. The owner is lovely and crafts the food and space with such care that you really feel like you've stumbled into somewhere quite special. Whether you are hungry for a BLT or breakfast sandwich (highly recommend), a cupcake or peanut butter cookie (can't leave without getting one), or inspiration for doing/making, wander into Glitter Thicket!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan/plant-based!Dietary restrictions: So awesome to have legitimately good vegan options--and lots of them (the whole menu)!“

“Quaint, friendly, family-owned café with delicious offerings all around.I've been going once a week the past month, and I've tried almost everything this place offers. The food is incredible (I'm most partial to the croissants). From the coffee to the breakfast offerings to the truffles, I haven't had something I didn't think was excellent. And they make it all in-house!The staff is great. I've been in during busy times and slower times, and they're always working hard and friendly. (And the cute barista behind the counter is always nice to see.)I've worked in service in the past and so it's impressive to see them in action when the lines start forming. Really love going there. Can't recommend this place highly enough.“

“Friendly people, impeccable sandwich with razor thin bead and croquetas that were not too oily upon being fried. The sandwich was lean, not too salty and well balanced. Real work of art. Coffee was also caringly prepared to our specifications.Gracias de corazon“

“I visited here Mar 2024, and I really like the atmosphere and food they have. I ordered my go to drink, hot americano. The coffee was strong with hint of sour flaove which I do not like, but other than that everything else was okay. There isn't much sitting here so it's best for take out.Parking: More parking lot in the back of the building.“

“I have not yet been here in person, but had to rave about their coffee. Being a decaf drinker, it is not always easy to find delicious coffee. I happened to see this brand in my local supermarket, and, being a dog lover, decided to try their Maya decaf after reading the description. Oh my goodness, the most delicious coffee!! I am going to try to get to the store in person but in the meantime I highly recommend their coffee!“
“Walked into Piermont Bicycle Connection the other day and got to work with Sunny Quach. He is professional while also being personable, knowledgeable and very attentive. He was adept at finding ways to explain more technical aspects of the bike I was looking at in a way that helped me understand, which was extremely helpful. I ended up buying the Trek FX Sport 6 which is the biggest investment I’ve ever made in a bike. Even though Piermont Bicycle Connection is an hour from me, they earned a devoted customer in me because of the care and attention Sunny gave me. I will be back and will recommend to others. I highly recommend this shop. If you’re looking for a bike you’re in good hands with Sunny. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Sunny. ?“

“I love this place. They have won awards for their avocado toast and when you try it you’ll see why. Everything tastes homemade and made with love. I love their espresso too. 3 stars for service because I had an incident where I was given non gluten free bread once and also cheese when I asked for none as I have both food intolerances which cause massive widespread inflammation for me that can last weeks into months. The person I spoke dealt with did not apologize/seemed annnoyed and it happened both times with her. However, it’s such a rare find to find a place with such good food and GF options for me (coming from the BX) that I wound up going back and it hasn’t happened since. Everyone there knows me now and automatically knows what I order but I just think people need to take food allergies and concerns much more seriously than they do. The atmosphere is cute and it’s a nice place to read a book or work on your laptop.Dietary restrictions: If you have food allergies, mention it 3 times. Triple confirm they understand.“

“As the rave reviews here confirm, I think this is one of the best eateries in the Rivertowns. Exceptional coffee (I have very high standards!), and this morning I had their scrumptious breakfast burrito, which is cooked from scratch to perfection. The staff is always kind and professional.“

“Go here immediately. Everything we had was delicious! Classic Mediterranean with a modern twist. Service is delightful and shop is sweet. Byrek (tried both spinach and cheese) are best I’ve ever had. Greek(ish) salad is so good with the figs. Carrot soup also amazing. Very happy to discover this place (its a little hard to find even though it’s next to Trader Joe’s)Kid-friendliness: Came with our baby and breast fed her here (owner said no problem when we asked)“
“BEST coffee in Irvington!!! I'm there often for large orders to bring to work and Mike and Brittany are so patient, kind, and deeply care for their community. We always have such great conversation while they make my oat latte. So much love is put into what they do-- amazing coffee, incredible pastries, and do NOT sleep on that egg sandwich.“

“We absolutely love Jean-Jacques Culinary Creations in Pleasantville! We try to stop in at least once a week even though it is not near our home. Cris, Lauren and Jack are so very sweet and always welcoming. The food at the grill is delicious and meticulously prepared by Wilder. The environment is warm and inviting but it is truly the caring team and quality of the food that make this place so special. It feels as if everything is prepared and presented with such care and never has anything we've tried been less than excellent. The bakery selection is outstanding. Not only does everything look like a work of art but it is delicious. In my opinion, it is rare to find that combination. Whoever is working behind the scenes there is definitely a talented culinary trained chef and baker.“

“I came here on a Sunday afternoon to work. It's a small place, so there are not many tables, but they have WiFi and outlets. The cafe is covered in real plants. The servers were kind and friendly and you could tell the barista was passionate about the art of coffee. The food and drinks were great: * Matcha Yuzu - 10/10 - The matcha flavor is not strong and earthy, so it's perfect for non matcha lovers. The yuzu syrup adds a nice brightness of flavor, and the addition of the sparkling water makes the drink extra refreshing. I saw the barista hand whip the matcha too. * Cortado - 8/10 - I'm not a coffee drinker, so take this review with a grain of salt. This drink is pretty strong since it's equal parts espresso and milk, but I liked the flavor of the beans. * Chocolate Croissant - 8.5/10 - The pastry was buttery, flakey and light. I wish there was a bit more chocolate tho because only 1/3 of the bites had chocolate. Overall, I would definitely come again for the vibes and food. I want to try their hot food options next time.“

“Simple place to get some food and warm drinks in Winter, cool drinks in the summer. They've got maps and books for sale. Only problem? Not enough indoor space for the tables. Outdoors is okay in the summer when it's crowded. But it's always crowded here, especially in the summer. They close the parking lot when it gets full. Be prepared to park somewhere else like the boy scout camp on the other side.“

“TNT Luncheonette is fantastic. I started going there, when it was called Mitz and Mike. They have a great breakfast menu. I like to order a couple of eggs over easy, with ham, home fries and whole wheat toast. Their home fries are to die for.Unfortunately, I haven't been there in years, because I live overseas now. But, if I ever get back to good old Harrison again, you can be sure, I will pay a visit to TNT Luncheonette.“

“Such a cute coffee shop! They get BUSY... especially in October. I will attest to the fact that their drinks are very good and they have a nice variety of food items too. “My Fiance and I have been looking for a place close by that has good, truly authentic Dominican food and Maria did not disappoint! We both got the pernil with rice, beans, and maduros - everything was full of flavor and FRESH. Portions were also more than plenty, we ended up bringing our leftovers home. Chips and salsas were also complimentary and just as tasty! Maria was so sweet and attentive, and took the time to chat and get to know us. She mentioned having breakfast available and we will def be returning soon to try it out!“

“Now let me tell you about this little cafe, located in the down lake street heading towards West Harrison…I’ve been to this establishment several times along my route. In the morning for coffee, bananas and more coffee. But never have I ever ate here…till last month. Around this time 2pm in the afternoon I was craving a taco (which I knew Eddie’s Little Cafe most definitely make) along with other delicious Mexican delights. I just never knew what everything tasted like. Because let it be known I’ve tasted majority of White Plains’s Taco scene… ONLY ONE PLACE CURRENTLY REIGNS SUPREME…. Which I have yet to review. Till now..: Not only does Eddie’s Little Cafe crafts the most beautiful taco.. but their “Chorizo/2 egg scramble with home fries breakfast tacos” literally will satisfy anyone craving a breakfast taco. Perfect for brunch, perfect for a quick lunch. This homemade meal I order was and is a force to be reckon with. Because it IS MADE …with professionalism, “homemade-ism”,… it just tastes really freaking good and I was hungry! I still have a few hours delivering mail along my route but damn I AM SATISFIED for now…till dinner… PLUS DONT FORGET THE SAUCES!!!Please support the locals!!“
“As a newbie in town, I have been looking for a healthy cozy place to get some work done. Sweet and savory has the perfect menu. Everything is made fresh and was delicious. As I sat in a booth I could hear the family greeting everyone by name when they came in. It was so nice to find a homey feel and great eats.“

“This spot is small, but the food is totally worth it! Everything we tried was delicious ... Horchata, Birria French Fries with Hot Sauce, Milanesa de Res Torta, Carne Adobada Torta, Tres Leches Pancakes, and Churros French Toast. Seating is their only problem, with about 9-10 seats at their counter and two tables that can seat only two people. So if you're small party, it works or do take out (which was humming). Definitely look forward to going back!“

“Hands down, best ice cream in Westchester/Putnam Counties. All home made. Common favorites as well as innovative flavors. Friendly staff. Wonderful, community driven & supportive owners.Great flavors. My favorite is Coffee Kalua; it's so creamy and just the right amount of Kalua taste with bold, smooth coffee flavor. I will drive miles out of my way between family in Westchester to my home in Putnam, just to get a pint to take home and of course a scoop with hot fudge to sit at the tables on the side walk and enjoy. So dang, good! If you're an ice cream snob like me, you'll love it! Check them out. They also sell some old-fashioned candy in the inside shop and they make dessert Crepes. Faaaabulous!“
“Great place to kill some time. Pros - huge advantage is that they have drop-off services for errands, a Cafe in the back for parents- similar to a Tig & Peach/Honey Joes but I found the open hours easier to reserve and more for kids to play with, everything is digital which is a plus. Plan ahead and reserve a time slot is best. Staff is professional and friendly.Bathroom even has a nest chair so toddlers and small humans won't wander when adults have to use the restroom, wish I knew about this contraption earlier, I would've installed one in my house lol“

Parent pro-tip, the Ivington location for the farmers market is right next to a playground.Kid-friendliness: I'm definitely calling this one kid friendly. They even had some toys on hand. “We just stumbled onto this place and were SO happy with the lunch. I had avocado toast with poached eggs. Every ingredient was fresh and flavorful. You can tell the eggs were very fresh, the fresh spinach was not overdone and the sprouts were brilliant. I also had an apple tart that was just the right amount of sweetness and crunchiness; not overdoing the brown sugar topping. When in town; I plan to visit again.“

“I love the flavor of the food everything is delicious.... THIS IS A PUBLIC WARNING. I have been to this place multiple times and I'd say 40 percent of the time when I order either the chicken empanadas or tomales there are chicken bones that I and my nephew have nearly choked on. I tried calling and telling them about it but they pretended to not understand me EVEN WHEN I SAID IT IN SPANISH.This is unacceptable putting chopped up bones in these foods is a hazard. I hope the owner sees and educated his line cooks on proper food prep.“

“They say never judge a book by its cover, well that couldn’t be more true for Lou’s Wagon (hot dog truck). On the surface, it’s a really small white box-truck that doesn’t appear to offer much. Rest assure, that is not the case. The food and service here was great. The two hotdogs with chili, cheese and cooked onions that I purchased were very tasty. The chili had just the right consistency and the cheese actually tasted like cheese. The bread wasn’t stale and the dogs didn’t taste like they’ve been sitting in boiled water for a week. The food was fresh. The lady running the hot dog truck was extremely welcoming, quick and courteous. For anyone looking for a quick bite and tasty hot dogs at a very affordable price compared to other food trucks I’ve stopped at, this spot is a winner. They also offer hot sausage, Dr. Browns soda, chips and cookies. The food spot is perfectly located right at the corner of an intersection just off 9A and Croton Dam Rd. Give them a try. “I started working in Mamaroneck 3 years ago and up until this year I hadn't gone to Stanz. I don't know why no one had told me sooner about this place! The sandwich's are like your typical Italian deli sandwich but with a modern twist. There is all different kinds of breads to choose from. I still have yet to try their breakfast but I hear they have the best bacon egg and cheese. That is next on my list! They also have yummy looking salads. Lastly, I got a chocolate chip cookie because it was only $1 and I wish I had bought 5, sooo soft and chewy! Definitely recommend for your next brunch outing.“
“I came across this establishment by chance when I found myself searching for a nearby boba juice bar. And, I have to eagerly admit that I have not regretted it even since. My reason for this statement lies within its quality of staff, service, and selection throughout the store; conveniently located inside HMART! The professional staff crew is made up Gian, the drink chemist, Sneha & Bri, the product & development analysis team. Submitting my order was such a pleasant experience that I was surprised to be bestowed the honor to be allowed to request my own personal boba mixture (at my own risk of course). Which to my surprise was actually quite good/tolerable, . The Cafe' L'amì employees are a stellar, courteous, and an exemplary personnel that shed an example of what other industry leaders should follow.“

“The atmosphere of The Granola Bar has a very cute, trendy, and healthy vibe to it which also goes along with the vibes of the food on the menu. Overall the food was pretty good and the menu had a variety of different options. I got the warm brussels salad. I appreciate that the salad was so chopped up so I got a taste of each ingredient in every bite. Continually, the granola on the salad was a unique and unusual touch, however, it added crunch and an unexpected sweet flavor and constrasting texture to the soft chopped brussels and the tahini dressing. My iced oat milk latte was good and was what I needed, although, it was slightly bitter for my liking. Overall, it was a very good experience accompanied with great service.“
