“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“A+ across the board. Unbelievable service. Sitting at the chef’s table was a little smoky but a blast. Was nearly impossible to get a reservation and I hate to say it but it’s worth the hype! Hope we’re able to land another reservation again soon because I’m going to be thinking about this meal for a long time.“

“We came here on a Sunday early afternoon and had one of our best recent dining experience. We live close by so we went in hoping it would be a gem and it absolutely didnt dissappoint. The garlic naan might just be the best we’ve ever had. The mussels were very fresh and not sure if it’s the season but the flesh was super fat. The sauce it was cooked in was also very very good. Dipping the naan in that sauce was straight heaven. We also ordered the rotisserie chicken, which we thought was a bit pricey at first but man, it was cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy skin, JUICY all throughout, with grilled lemons and a decent sauce. The service was also phenomenal. Our server had great energy, and provided us the perfect balance of attentiveness and space.
The vibe of this place is also top notch. The modest exterior is only hiding the spaceous, modern, and elegant interior.
Overall, we could not be more thrilled about this find and will definitely be coming back to try their drinks and sea bass dish! Highly recommended for an absolute treat.“

“Melissa and James create soul food with modern twist -- with big flavors! I visited P&C multiple times already, with family, friends and work colleagues and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to eat modern American with a lot of love. 🍷🍸🍹Their cocktails are equally amazing and delicious, they also have a fantastic wine selection and their freshly baked Pita is a MUST! Please do go and visit P&C to also support the local restaurant community -- they deserve it! 🥰🍾🥙“

“We had the pleasure of dining in your restaurant last week, We instantly loved the mediterranean style atmosphere of your place. We had the best server we could have asked for named, Martina, she was friendly and had a great sense of humor, Her menu knowledge was excellent, She recommended the Duck and Short Ribs, which were excellent. Full of flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience with great food and nice, friendly staff. Lloyd Hartford“

“Good and interesting food. Crowded and noisy. Good and very efficient service. Cocktail selection good but mine was ok. Daily special of fava bean hummus was delicious Chicken liver with hummus reminded me of my grandmother. Half brick chicken was very dry and not crisped enough with a soury harissa sauce. (Was it 1/2 brick or 1/2 chicken?). Limited dessert menu“

“I had such a fantastic dinner with my business partner, who I also consider a friend! I introduced them to Mediterranean cuisine, and they absolutely loved it! They're from Virginia, so this was a delightful new experience for them. The food and cocktails were outstanding, and the atmosphere was so cozy. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive; they made us feel right at home. Cihan, the owner, even stopped by our table to check if everything was okay. He was so polite and warm! I can't wait to come back for another amazing meal!“

“I am SO glad I found this place! The shrimp kebab seriously is divine, I think I developed an addiction. Also, they have happy hour every day until 7pm and their house wine is so good. The place is cozy and relaxing. On a recent Saturday night I was there for 4 hours... they never rush you, the staff is super friendly.“

“A smaller space, but nicely decorated. Was able to walk in at 7pm on a Tuesday night for two with no problem. Food and service were both great. The mezze portions are great; really loved the labneh. The carrots are slightly sweetened and is served cold. Falafel hummus was plentiful and the falafel was great. Chicken shawarma was delicious; recommend getting a side of pita so you can make yourself a pita sandwich.“

“Go. Seriously. We went with a group of six for brunch and every single person was raving about it for days after. Hits every mark - food (first and foremost), service, ambiance. Only ding is that it's a bit hard to get to but if you're already making the trek to Greenpoint, consider Glasserie a must.“

“I have been to malka for dinner multiple times. Each time it has been a supernatural experience: the staff is kind, the food is delicious, and the ambiance kindles a torch in my heart.
The selection of dishes is excellent. It covers a wide variety of international options with an excellent twist. The schnitzel is to die for, the best in the US. The hummus is bold and creamy, it will transport you to the desert in the Middle East. The drink selection is superb.
One of the best restaurants in the US and a hidden gem in NYC.“

“Very impressed. It’s not often that you go to a downtown restaurant these days and have good service along with good food and a good atmosphere. Everything was seriously delicious. We were bummed out that they didn’t have any Bronzino, considering our table doesn’t eat any meat or shellfish. We got the Dover soul as a replacement for the Bronzino, we all really normally like Dover soul, but this was not prepared well.
The chef was super accommodating and replaced the item for another salad. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. They were super accommodating with large parties and I think overall this spot will be a staple.“

“Amizigh Food Truck was hired for our company picnic and everyone loved the food! They had a staff of 3 friendly workers and the line moved fast. “We keep coming back and it never disappoints! Bijan’s has become one of our absolute favorite spots in New York. The food and cocktails are consistently amazing, but what really sets it apart is the service. Every time we come in, whether brunch or a spontaneous dinner, we always see one server who remembers us, our usual drinks, and always makes great conversation.
The service is friendly and they clearly take pride in creating a great experience. Even when it’s busy, we’ve never felt rushed or forgotten. The energy is cozy, relaxed, and inviting which is exactly why we keep coming back! Every visit is just as good as the last. Bijan’s is the place to be!“

“Every time we come to Manhattan and stay midtown we come back to this restaurant. Invited another couple to try it. Israeli salad ; salmon skewers were delicious. Humuus is fresh delicious. Matzo Ball soup great . Disappointed with the very sweet—-too sweet sorbet. They forgot to give us the chips we always enjoy. Had to ask for it. This was our forth visit in a year. May skip next time and try some other restaurant during our next trip to NY.“

“Food was really tasty, both the Israeli breakfast plate and Shakshuka were great with the pita. Prices were pretty steep though ($53 including tax and tip for just two dishes and the Shakshuka is a bit smaller) Seems like it’s more of a to-go spot, the seating inside is high top bar style along the wall.“
