“I came here a friend and had 2 rolls (salmon and tuna), one sea urchin, and one wagyu single piece. All the food was incredible. Some of the best sushi I've had in my life. My friend had 2 vegetarian rolls, which both were delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys higher quality sushi, especially at lunch since they have some discounted rolls.“

“A hidden gem! We stumbled upon this place on a walk and decided to grab a bite. We didn’t have a reservation but was quickly seated with a full bar of other diners for the lunch omakase. “Sushi was some of the best I’ve had. Chefs know what they’re doing with the glazes and sauces.

Service was attentive, but I wish they had more info about the dishes. Info such as ingredients in the sauces, where the fish came from etc.

The service was also very authentic to Japan in the sense that they were rigid about timing and when we were allowed to order certain things. If you missed your chance to order certain sections of the menu they wouldn’t take the order. lol it felt just like being in Japan.

HOWEVER they did accommodate an unusual dietary restriction and we very much appreciated that.

I think it’s fair because there’s no tip (it’s included in the price). Which is also true to Japan.“

“I had a great time at Kaiyo. It has been a go to for me when I want sushi and am in Long Island City. The front of the restaurant is only the sushi counter, so it isn't noisy or distracting. It's a good place to sit and talk over a meal. The sushi is good and it is reasonably priced.“

Xin displayed wonderful customer service and is by far the best server we've ever encountered. A big shout-out to Xin! “My wife and I went to Sushi Jin last night for the first time. It was wonderful on all fronts - the space, the vibe, the freshness, the omakase selections, the assembly, the presentation, and of course, the taste (oishii!). Really good sake, too. Chef Tachikawa took great care of us- he was friendly, gracious, and way capable. Our server (everything else but the sushi), Jean, was also fantastic. We walked out of there satisfied & very happy and thought it was the perfect dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We look forward to our next visit.“

“My wife delivered at Weil Cornell, and after 9 long months it was finally time to eat Sushi again. It was hard to decide where to order from, but we picked Goal Omakase (and it was excellent). Spicy Crunchy Tuna and Salmon were delicious as were negi toro and jumbo toro rolls. Wasabi Chips were a fun treat. Anyway, my point is that if you're at Alexandra Cohen and you delivered a baby, you deserve sushi delivered to you, and why not treat yourself with high quality fish. Goal Omakase did not disappoint.“
