“Number One Kitchen is number one for a reason! I made a mistake with my order originally and even though I still paid for that order through a delivery app, I had to cancel it. So when I reordered I didn't order the wontons, but they noticed and sent me them anyway! Their food is literally the best in the area and they go above and beyond! I will never order from anywhere but Number One!!!“

“I’ve been here a number of times. I’ve never been disappointed. The first time, I expected it to be like any other American style Chinese restaurant. I soon found that it was levels above that. The owner/chef takes a lot of pride in his product. He is also extremely friendly.

All of the menu items are elevated above your typical Chinese restaurant, but I normally get the Szechuan Chicken. It has nice, complex flavors.

The fried rice is also outstanding. Tastes like a very home style version, as if he was making for his family.

On occasion and if you ask, he has a small Korean menu. The Jaampong is really good and a healthy portion.

Overall, you can’t go wrong here. So happy this place exists as a better option for lunch.“

There is absolutely nothing fancy here and that’s an important part of its charm. Friendly, helpful staff. We came upon Home Taste accidentally while looking for a different restaurant and I am glad we did. It reminds me of small restaurants in Asian neighborhoods in Toronto. “We got takeout yesterday. It was delicious! I have been living in a place that does not have good Chinese food. I got the General Tao’s tofu. I make tofu and thought it was good. This was so much better. I could taste the orange in the sauce and seeing the pieces of ginger and garlic impressed me. Everything was top notch.“

“I ordered a small appetizer of the beef spare ribs and a general tso's chicken combination. The portions were great and pretty inexpensive for what prices seem to be at most places now. “We've been back to Golden Dragon twice very recently and were quite happy with most items. The menu is huge, so we expect we'll find a lot more to like.

Their lo mein is totally different than when they first opened and I love it now. I got beef the first time, but it comes with very little, so I opted for vegetable the second time. Not a lot of vegetables throughout (mostly on top, as you can see in the photo), but it was really delicious! Both times the lo mein noodles were the perfect firmness and had great flavor. I want it again and again!

Matt didn't enjoy his sesame beef. The batter is too thick, and the beef gets completely lost. I like that they will do sauce on the side. We like to toss it ourselves last minute so that it doesn't get soggy. Better for leftovers, too. They do charge an extra $1.50, but they give you a lot of the sauce.

The wonton soup is amazing! A small is only $3.95 and it comes with five big pork wontons. Makes me happy because I get wonton soup cravings. I'll definitely be getting this again.

The General Tso's Chicken is spot on. The pork egg rolls are good, your typical egg roll. The crab rangoons are also quite good.

Their prices are great and the service has always been friendly. I'm so glad we tried again, they're really close by, makes it very convenient.

“I used Uber eats to order a general tsao's Pizza, its something I never heard of before so I gave it a shot since it's my go-to Chinese meal! It was absolutely delicious, you guys nailed it with this one but then again over the years I've never gotten food that wasn't delicious here!“

“I was working nearby and wanted a quick hot meal. It was my 1st time stopping at Ke’s kitchen. I was expecting the normal average Chinese food I always get that is good. I was surprised by how much better the food was at this restaurant. The flavor was excellent, the portions were generous and I almost didn’t want to taste the sweet and sour sauce because of how delicious the chicken was without it. Crispy outside, just right all white meat cooked inside. It wasn’t greasy like most dishes I get from other places. The rice was also a pleasant surprise. Full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Onion, Everything - and the Crab Meat Puff's are amazing - they are home made and so crispy and the red sweet and sour sauce that they serve them with is seriously so sweet and decadent the best I've ever had. “Very fast, very yummy Asian-American food at reasonable prices. They use Styrofoam "clamshell" containers, which I'm not a fan of (the old foldout boxes are better), but the portions are generous and they tend to be ready faster than they tell you (I only ever buy 1 or 2 dishes, they always say "5 minutes" and it's already done when I'm counting the last of minute 4). Staff are efficient and not discourteous. And the location is pretty convenient for the east side of Buffalo. Parking hasn't been an issue yet.“

“Food was actually some of the better Chinese food that I’ve had in Buffalo. I got chicken lo mein, fried chicken rice, orange chicken, and vegetable spring rolls and everything was very good. Orange chicken were large chicken chunks. Lo mein very good and the fried chicken rice was very good was yellow rice and really liked it. Service was great and right to the point. Atmosphere was horrible but this is mostly a takeout place so it’s not supposed to be the most fine decor.“
