“After having brunch here I will definitely be back for their dinner service.
Definitely worth checking out. Tried the biscuits & gravy, full 2.0, pancakes all were solid renditions of the traditional meal with a twist.
Callout - The French press is a full French press not just a personal sized one“

“After eating so much (pizza etc )we needed to eat something different, spicy and booked this gem,as it as near to our hotel. It was also our 40th wedding anniversary. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay, try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. Thanks for the rendition “ congratulations “ for our 40th. You are great ! A little gem of authenticity in big New York !“
“Had a wonderful dinner experience at Adda tonight. The food was exceptional. The chefs know what to do with the spices to create some of the best flavors in all of these dishes. The curry leaf crab is a must! All the dishes were great. But the one of the best bites we had was a simple yet so flavorful kulfi popsicle desert that was dipped in strawberry cream sauce. Also what was top of the line was the service. Our server Swayam was a delight. He was the kindest person with a great personality. He was very knowledgeable about all the items and was a great help with recommendations. Service was a 10 out of ten. It’s hard to get a reso here, but that means everyone is going here. This restaurant is a must.

“Indian Kitchen in Williamsburg is a real neighborhood gem. Living right above it, I can honestly say it’s a huge convenience—and a pleasure. The food is consistently excellent, full of flavor and care, and the service is always warm and attentive. It genuinely feels community-oriented, the kind of place that remembers its regulars and adds to the fabric of the block. I’m lucky to have such a great restaurant just downstairs.“

“Warm, modern, and intimate restaurant that has a creative take on Indian cuisine. Upon entry, we were greeted welcomingly. You’d notice the decor immediately—stunning and attention to detail from top to bottom! The menu had so much to choose from and the servers were extremely helpful with explaining the differences. But the star of the show has to be the presentation of the food and the flavorful sauces. Worth the city prices. Would definitely come back for another special occasion!“

“One of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time. Everything here from the service to the ambience was amazing! For appetizers we had the biyebarir fish fry and the aloo chaat, both were spicy but we found ourselves wanting more. The entrees stepped it up a notch with the prawn malai kari and the kosha mangshu which were 100% worth coming back for. Our server Zaraith was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the entire meal and the manager Joy was very hospitable. Will be back soon for sure, thank you Unapologetic for the experience!“

“Really want to give them a perfect 5, but their service was painfully slow, consistent with what many Yelpers have mentioned on their reviews. Getting reservations was a breeze, and the layout remains the same at this place, what was formerly Priyanka Chopra's failed venture - Sona.
Katie got us seated and George was our host/waiter - who was pretty difficult to spot throughout our time here.
Now that I am done complaining about the service, lets quickly get to the food which was absolutely fantastic.
What to get? The standout dish of the evening was Jackfruit Ghee Roast ($30) - the most delicious Jackfruit dish I have every had. Creamy, spice balanced, and flavor packed. This with Malabar Parotha was a banger combination.
Market Beets ($20) stood out in small bites, thanks to the delicious walnut chikki, and the smoked mayo sauce with Kolhapuri Chicken Bao was really tasty. Roasted Bombay Corn Ribs ($12) can be skipped, and so can the Biryani Chicken Wings ($16).
Their seasonal cocktail - a Gin & Tonic with cucumber and mint was refreshing. Cocktails overall were enjoyable.
We tried all their desserts which include a pistachio icecream, gulab jamun with coriander, and icecream sandwich. Desserts overall were an absolute letdown and I wouldn't recommend any of them. If you have an absolute sugar craving, go with icecream sandwich!
If they figure out their service staffing, I see no reason why Passerine can't be a New York favorite. With a gifted chef who balances flavor so well, the core ingredient of this restaurant is up to the mark!“

“Amazing food. Loved the service given by the people around there. I really didn't expect to get such a good service at such an hour I;e 11:30am in the morning, that too on a weekday( Tuesday). The ambiance was neat and good. Highly recommend the lollipop dry and the goat dum Biryani that was suggested by the person over there. Perfect in flavours. “I’ve been walking by Pranam for quite some time and finally decided to come in - I can’t express how much I’m wishing I visited earlier! I’m blown away by the quality of the food and attentive service. The Momo were incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned and the entrees from varying places in Asia impressed me. Special shout out to the imported beers as well - I got the Nepal Ice beer and am now looking where to source it for myself. Truly a hidden neighborhood staple -
I encourage everyone to check this place out. You won’t be disappointed. Promise.“

“We recently visited Bungalow NY, and it was truly an unforgettable dining experience! The ambiance was elegant yet warm, perfectly blending modern luxury with an inviting charm.
The food is absolutely outstanding! Every dish was a masterpiece, beautifully plated and bursting with authentic flavors. You could taste the creativity and love behind every bite.
What made the evening even more special was seeing Chef Vikas Khanna personally visit tables, sharing stories behind the dishes and asking for feedback. He is such a humble and inspiring gesture from a world-class chef. 🙌
And to top it all off, we even spotted Tripti Dimri dining there that night! ✨
Overall, Bungalow NY is not just a restaurant. it’s a complete culinary journey. Highly recommended for anyone who loves exceptional food, impeccable service, and an unforgettable atmosphere.“

“I stopped by the Hindu Temple Canteen after visiting the temple and the place delivers exactly what people say about it. The food is simple, fresh and made with the kind of consistency you only get in a temple kitchen.
I tried two plates because I was there with a friend. The pongal was warm, comforting and properly seasoned. The curd vada had a light, balanced taste and felt refreshing. The mixture on the side added a nice crunch. The dosa was crisp, not oily, and the coconut chutney tasted clean. The sambar was mild but paired well with everything.
The canteen is not about presentation. It's about honest food that feels familiar and satisfying. Portions are fair and pricing is very reasonable for New York. If you're already visiting the temple, stopping here makes total sense. It’s quick, reliable and a good break before heading back out.“

“Amazing Food. Excellent staff. So kind and mindful of our requests. We went with our baby and one of the staff gave my little kiddo Valentine’s flower. She kept dancing all the time.
We ordered Shrimp in main course but we thought it was not a main course dish to eat with rice so gave us extra gravy of butter chicken. We also ordered Paneer Khurchan which is very unique and delicious. Didn’t say No to anything we asked.
To top it all, they gave us delectable rasmalai desert with chocolate strawberry. So delicious.
We all enjoyed our valentine’s dinner.“
