“Amazing food, super flavorful and very light feeling where you don’t feel gross after eating. Service was great shoutout to Rakesh, very kind and fast server. And the fact that it is HALAL on top it, incredible. I go to a lot of Indian restaurants and this is one of best places I’ve been to.“

“The best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. I have brought my whole crew of friends and family, and each one of them can’t stop talking about this place. The food is beyond flavorful and has gorgeous presentation. I would come back here in a heartbeat, always and forever.“

“We were in the city for 3 nights. I made reservations for the second and third nights. Left night one open. I found Saar online, it was less than a block from our hotel so we figured we'd give them a try. So glad we did. Nice place. Great, friendly service (Karim is the man!), and excellent food. I ended up cancelling the reservations I made for night 3 and we went back to Saar. Give them a try if you like Indian food. It was amazing!“

“my annual visits to new york always include one trip to tadka indian. connected to a banquet hall, tadka is divided by a wall to five star banquet which often hosts festivities such as weddings. the restaurant portion maintained the fancy feel of the banquet hall, with white tablecloth and nicely dressed waiters. the food is celebration worthy. my family is loyal to our respective orders: butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and palek paneer. rice and naan go very well with all of it. i wish id taken a picture of the food, but my hunger beat me to it. so instead, here is a photo of the atmosphere that i only came around to taking after our complimentary rice pudding. all together, dinner was delightful and i can’t wait to visit new york again, knowing tadka will be on the itinerary.“
