“Ordered from here many times and it's always been very good and well-seasoned! It's classic Chinese BBQ; the prices are reasonable, it really doesn't deserve such a low rating. Super thankful they're open late (until midnight) when nothing else in the area is open.The employees don't know much English but they are very polite and call when they run out of something/text when my order is ready. If you don't speak Mandarin/Chinese, I would highly recommend ordering on their Square site ahead of time for pickup, where the menu is also in English. It's definitely worth it.“

“Arrived too early for our lunch reservations. Some of us were starved already, so checked Yelp for the best place to snack. This place was highly recommended. Easy to find, and many ways to search what we wanted. Most of us picked the #10 and I picked the #13 (fried bun). Took a bit for it to be ready but there were 5 orders to do at one shot. We decided to wait inside even though it was a tight fit. It was a little chilly outside. I think mostly, people order to pick up or have delivered. So the food was piping hot! But we didn't care, it was so good! And we had 3 different dipping sauces. The really spicy one my husband liked a lot. Two of us enjoyed the soy sauce one. My dad liked the sweet white sugar sauce. Everyone was so happy and we can't wait to return again. Definitely recommend.“

“There’s not a whole lot that’s wrong with Farook’s tbh. I’ll pick him over Halal Guys or Adele any day of the week, given the price and wait time.However, I’m personally a fan of Santa Halal which is the cart next to Farook’s.But, that’s a personal preference. Farook is pretty great too.“

“My aunt likes this place, she bought 7 orders. The pork, and fresh shrimp is probably the best, but so is an 'off menu item', cilantro cheung fun, love it. The beef, chicken, and dried shrimp, not my favorite(Not for me). Don't add peanut sauce, it just muddles the flavors, making it, less enjoyable. Sadly to say this was the last full meal, she ever got to eat.“

“This location has fewer vendors than the original location but they still offer alot of variety. On this occasion I had cheese steak from fedoroff's. It was a lot of food for less than $20. Pretty good for NYC prices. The sandwich itself was made fresh and delicious. This spot is worth the visit.“

All of their offerings are super flavorful with great portions, you can’t go wrong with any of them! “On the way to another cheong fun shop, we were driving by this cart and saw the long line of Chinese aunties waiting, so we had to stop by here instead (it's practically authenticity-certified, how could you say no?). While the long was long, it goes by pretty fast considering they make each dish as it is ordered. The ladies running to shop don't speak much English, but they're pretty patient and nice. The shop (from what I remember) only takes cash, so remember to take note before stopping by. My boyfriend and I ordered the shrimp and beef rolls and they were so delicious. We were also offered spicy sauce and soy sauce which really enhanced the flavor. Prices here were also unbelievable for the quality and portion you're getting (a small can easily fill me up). Highly recommend supporting this small business.“

“She makes the most amazing zongzi. Everything is flavored so well. I recently got her black rice zongzi (the only vegetarian one on the menu). It had generous amounts of chestnut and peanuts mixed with the rice. She also speaks so many languages! I started ordering in Mandarin but when I asked if she had Taiwan style zongzi, she switched to Taiwanese and we started conversing in that language. She was speaking Cantonese with the customer before me. She is really impressive on so many levels!“

“I usually get my juice or smoothies from those pricey uppity “Green” stores but a few days ago when it was hot, I felt I can use a break from getting robbed again after doing groceries on the day inflation came rushing back in so I thought I’d try coming here. First, it felt like I just hit the darn jackpot. As a daily juice aficionado always on a hunt for a reasonable price for the vice, this takes the cake! For their price in this impossibly expensive city that I love so much so help me God, I can forgive anything, but I’ve never had my Beet/Carrot/Ginger/Apple combo soo goooood, it’s moisturizing loll! So fresh and so well done and you can tell it’s made by a pro. Second, I already said it, the pro, Mohamed (and I think he also owns the place)…gotta love this guy…great chat, funny, excellent service…I may have overstayed my welcome over there each time coz, I’ve been dropping by now like a regular fixture. Try the Green Combo too…superrr goood! The place is right across the Flatiron Building, right at the corner of Broadway and 23rd…very easy to find!“

“Closest thing I found to eating quesadilla off the final in DMC. I haven't found a filling I don't like. They are light, fresh and simply delicious. The perfect balance of Ingredients at a fair price. I line that they are so small so I can eat one or two for a snack.“

“We skipped the famous Adel's food cart to come here. Glad that Adel's line was so long otherwise we would have never left and found Kwik Meal Halal Cart. The food is PHENOMENAL AND FRESH. Perfectly cooked rice and tender chicken with the perfect amount of seasonings and sauce. This place was soo good that we ate here 3 times in a span of 5 days. “Tariq’s 1 Halal Food cart is parked on Park Avenue South and serves up a variety of Indian-influenced rice platters, salads, and sandwiches. stopped here a few weeks ago and picked up a chicken over rice. watched as the owner / grill man made my order. steam rising off the fluffy rice as it dropped into the container. the sizzle and aroma of chicken and spices is a sensory delight. and a small heap of lettuce tomato salad on the side stuffed into the side. and ample amount of white sauce on top. got this as a late lunch and was really satisfied with the quality and how filling it was. the grill guy is friendly and knows what he’s doing when it comes to these dishes.“

“Known as "Party BBQ" in English: Located on Broadway, between 45th Ave & Whitney Ave., in Elmhurst (in front of the Asian Supermarket which has its own parking lot).This BBQ lot has been here for years and has quite a large following. There's always a line of ppl patiently waiting for their BBQ goodness! On this Tuesday evening at around 7:30pm, it was no exception; there were about 8 ppl on line. But don't let that deter you from ordering your BBQ Skewers! The line moves surprisingly quickly. This is a one man show and he was hustling! Kudos to the hardworking gentleman making our BBQ Kebabs, and don't forget to tip him!On this visit, we tried their Beef and Lamb Kebabs ($1.75 each). We asked for the kebabs with cumin and extra spicy. These were so flavorful and delicious! My only complaint is that some pieces were very fatty but very good nonetheless.I will definitely be looking for this cart the next time I'm in the area.
