Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Came here for lunch because I’ve been craving some hotpot. I’m so glad I did. They have a wide selection of meats, seafood and veggies. I had the pork neck soup base which was rich and delicious. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“

“I was in the area and I come there for Korean food but happened to notice this place stating Korean Vietnamese food and was a little skeptical. I am Vietnamese and do speak Vietnamese and know the Vietnamese names for the dishes. This woman knew how to make vietnamese food with her Korean flare,just didn't know the names understandable. I inquired about one dish the call Bun Cha and is actually with Bun the skinny rice noodles and flattened pork meatballs and actually was made famous by president Obama visiting Hanoi, a Northern Vietnamese dish and not cold dipping noodles as they say that's a Korean dish.“

Price is based on weight, but one bowl around 1.5 lb was enough for the two of us. Most sushi restaurants I’ve frequented over the years are inconsistent with quality and freshness—which is what got me to try Taku in the first place and I’ve never looked back! We order from here 3-4 times per month….and we love it! They also have great Asian dishes when I’m not in the mood for sushi, but the rest of my family is. It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. I come here when I crave rice and something spicy. They offer cold dishes as side dishes or you can have them as part of of your lunch meal. Got the tofu shreds and celery, bamboo shots in chili oil, and the beef tendon & tripe. They were all delicious. I know other places have cheaper prepared rice dishes like this around flushing but if im in NY food court, this is a nice meal as well which includes hot soup.

Ive recommend their hot oil chili hicken, chicken feet, and the fried fish too. I see lots of locals get their hot rice dishes. Might be worth a try too!“
