I've never in my life tasted such amazing food like this and to be honest I'm very critical and hard to please when it comes to food so like always I was waiting to either be let down or not that impressed but I was shocked I live in the City and I order from these guys 2 sometimes 3 times a week. “I’ve been coming to Champions Pizza at rego park for a while now, and it never disappoints! I usually don’t have fav spots but this one might make the list! My go-to order is always the Margherita pizza, and it’s never let me down. Everything tastes fresh, the slices are always hot, and the crust is so good. The staff is always very kind, quick, & friendly!”

“I came all the way from Long Island to Rego Park, and while passing through I spotted this hot dog truck and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The hot dogs were AMAZING. I ordered the chili cheese dog with onions and mustard, along with a sauerkraut dog with mustard, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! 🌭😊”

“Got Thai pepper stake, chicken with cashew nut, tempura roll, tom yum soup, duck salad and tonkatsu Ramen. They are all good. Actually i would say it's balanced between 2 worlds. It's flavorful enough to satisfied our asian taste but not overpowered like old schools foods so it's suitable for people of all ethic background. Example their duck salad is my wife favorite. It included avocado which normally are not in thai duck salad but somehow they make it work really well. She also praised the tonkatsu Ramen. She said it's tasty and delicious. My favorite is Thai pepper stake. When they brought out , my wife said oh I can smell aroma of spiciness, I think it's gonna be spicy and hot. It wasn't and it was pleasantly delicious. Just right amount of kick and sweetness. The service is really well too. the young lady named Muu took care of us and she was very polite and caring. Excellent service. The restaurant is Very well priced also. You get a lot of bang for your bucks. Overall very satisfied. We will definitely going back again and again”

“I stumbled across this place after reading something online. Up until my visit, I had never had any food from Uzbekistan and that needed to change!

Because Austin Street is interrupted near this location getting here, or away from here, can be a little tricky. It's no big deal, but I wanted to mention it. Just follow GPS and grab any open parking spot when you get close. If taking the subway, it's a few short blocks from Queens Boulevard.

I arrived after 1pm, so I went with the Samsa's. They usually have lamb, beef, and pumpkin, but they were out of lamb. I tried a pumpkin ($3) and beef ($5) and both were very good. Neither was piping hot, but instead warm. The pumpkin had a hint of sweetness while the beef was savory. They both were more moist than I expected.

This is a bakery, not a cafe. As others have stated, it's a retail storefront, there isn't any seating. The gentleman who rang me up offered me a seat on a chair in the corner, which I was happy to take.

I picked up two more of each to take home, but I'm pretty sure eating them fresh is better. I think a microwave oven will ruin some of the flakiness of the pastry.

When I was there, all of the sweet baked goods were brought in from other kosher bakeries.

I'm looking forward to returning and trying the lamb and hopefully something else that's made on premises.”

“I had guests visiting from out of state, so we decided to check out the local restaurants. We ordered fried dumplings, lagman, chicken kebab, avocado salad, home-made bread, and a pot of tea. It was insanely delicious—we ate until we were stuffed. And we paid just $40 for dinner for the three of us! In the reviews, people say they’ve been coming here for years. I always get the steak burrito or combo lunch platter. Prices are affordable and very friendly husband and wife family run restaurant. “I had eaten halal Bukhari Uzbek food many times before, but if you are hosting strict kosher keepers in Queens who were bored of the typical pizza or grill joints, this was a must try for out of town guests.
I introduced my friends to many different Samsa (average), Plov (excellent, but only one recipe), Manti (average, real Georgian places are better), and IL salad (excellent, better than some Mediterranean places), everything was fresh and nothing disappointed.
I just wish they had changed the name 6 years ago after they started closing every Saturday, as C.S.S. is quite the mouthful to remember while gossiping about good places to try. they have about a dozen seats inside and another dozen on a sidewalk shed with quiet low foot traffic. for VHQ adherents, this is a must try, then try again and again until you've sampled the entire menu.”

I got called for a gig and the ride left me by the time I got out here to Rego Park.

It still smelled like Sizzler's and like the Tom and Jerry cartoon something led me here. (IYKYK)

I only had a beer and a shot but this menu and everything I saw coming out the kitchen looked AMAZING 🤤😋

It is small & a little cramped, but it is clean & the service is polite & friendly. It is a relatively popular place.
The meals have improved significantly in quality & taste, the combo platters are a good buy! The bubble teas are as well for the variety in flavors (for a non boba place that is also an independent mom & pop shop) & reasonable sizes. I have tried only a few of the pastries; but the pineapple buns are decent in taste & price, generous in size (could have more filling tho), & it seems the muffins are popular, hoping to try one myself!”

They even make sure to always pack your fries last when you get to the restaurant to make sure it’s at its freshest and crispest and not getting soggy while it’s sitting there in the bag. The food is never squished and never rushed. I won’t say it’s the fastest service, but it’s because they definitely try their best in every order. 10/10 Burger King, it truly never lacks. All the workers cater to your needs and will never say no if you ask for a specific sauce. I hope this location stays.”
