“First time trying Uyghur food… had no idea what to expect but the food was amazing. Tried the spicy beef salad, qorima lagman, and a big plate chicken. All were fantastic. Beef salad was super refreshing. Medium big plate chicken was humongous - super flavorful chicken and the meat was very tender. Potatoes soaked up a bunch of flavor. Qorima lagman was my favorite - perfect noodz texture, stir fried(?) well, and excellent taste. Got a samsa to go which was also tasty and came with nice side sauces. Nawat tea was also nice - refilling the tea is free since you’re given the leaves to steep. Btw staff is also super friendly. All in all loved it and will come back!”

“Went there on a Sunday night. The food was still top quality. The meat was juicy. And it was fairly priced. We ordered like 11 skewers and 4 plovs for 4 people. I’m not over exaggerating when I say this gave me a euphoric experience as I was hungry the whole day.”

“First time trying this spot, larger seating area than expected from passing by in the past and cute decor. My boyfriend got the grill beef banh hoi and I got the spicy lemongrass beef with fried rice. I also got the Thai iced tea. For appetizers, we had the spring rolls and Thai style fish cakes. We'd get every one of those dishes again and will definitely be back when it's cooler out for pho. The portion sizes were decent for the price as well, I think before I added on fried rice instead of white rice my meal was only $12. Service was great as well, so kind and attentive but not hovering!”

“I had a wonderful dining experience at Grand Sichuan. One of the main reasons I went was because they serve Sautéed Loofah (sponge gourd) — a rare dish that I’ve never seen offered at even the most authentic Chinese restaurants in the U.S.

Before placing my order, I asked the waitress whether the loofah would be bitter — since sometimes it can be, depending on the season. She kindly explained that, according to other customers’ feedback, the loofah at this time of year is not bitter. Her explanation reassured me, so I decided to go ahead and order it. And she was absolutely right — the sautéed loofah turned out fresh, tender, and not bitter at all.

I ended up ordering two dishes:
• Sautéed Loofah (sponge gourd)
• Chinese Vegetables with Black Mushroom

Both dishes were absolutely delicious, with flavors that reminded me of authentic Chinese cooking.

On top of the great food, the service was outstanding. In addition to the waitress, another waiter was patient and attentive, carefully explaining the menu to me and even showing me pictures on his phone since the menu itself didn’t have photos. That extra effort helped me feel comfortable choosing the right dishes and made the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable.

I give Grand Sichuan five stars not only for the food but also for the wonderful service. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Delicious and generously served dishes in an ambiance atmosphere. It was my first time dining at this restaurant with a friend, who is a regular. I enjoyed very much.

Even though I don’t have any roots related to Uzbekistan, felt nostalgic for some reason and cozy about everything from dishes served to interior and decor of this restaurant.”

“Best thing that ever happened to Rego Park in a while. I missed the days Taco Bell was still at QCM. I’m so glad there’s finally a closer Taco Bell. The location is very clean. Service is also fast. The restaurant itself doesn’t really get crowded since most people order for delivery. They’re consistent with making the food (I’ve ordered from here at least 20 times already), and they’re open until 3am sometimes! Please never ever close 🙏 because where else would I get Baja Blast freeze and $3 loaded beef nachos within walking distance?!?”

“This is the BEST Chinese food in the area hands down. Everything is always fresh and tasty. Wonton soup, sweet & sour chicken, chicken w/mixed vegetables, chicken wings, egg rolls, scallion pancakes, fried rice… everything is delicious.”

“Paris Baguette is one of our absolute favorite shops for pastries and cakes! Today we tried the Coconut Mango Cake, the Holiday Special French Chocolate Roll, and a new Fig Jam & Cream Layer pastry and oh my god, everything was beyond delicious. The sweetness is perfectly balanced, the textures are soft and fresh, and the flavors are spot on.

The Coconut Mango Cake remains our all-time favorite, so light and yummy every single time. And of course, their croissants 🥐 are always super flaky, buttery, and just perfect.

If you love fresh pastries and creative cakes, this place is a must-visit!”

“I receive my order very quickly, the food is fresh. I've actually sat down to eat, and so far it's peaceful. Usually I don't stay around, but so far so good.

The only con so far is the use of bleach as a cleaner. Once I started smelling it, it was making me sick so I had to leave. Not good while or after eating. Please consider using a non toxic cleaner as bleach is highly toxic.”
