“Williamsburg was largely unimpressive until I tried this place. I was there for breakfast and their French toast is the best I've ever had so far. Not your typical toast where you pour syrup on top. This bread is perfectly moist and sweet and does not require syrup. There is a creme topping you can pour over that made for the perfect combo. There are so many places that claim best pancakes, best French toast, etc. French toast, here, is a must. Now I want to come back and see about the pancakes. For savory, we got the merguez omlette. I am not a huge sausage (the sausage not pork, might have been beef) fan, but this was really flavorful and I would absolutely order again. I am usually not excited about brunch, but this place does it for me. And, the ambiance is excellent. I love the exposed brick and overall decor. I could not stop commenting on how positive the experience was and how much I want to return. And, I am one of those people where virtually every place is forgettable except the ones that are not. This is my current #1 for breakfast/brunch until further notice. Highly recommend for all occasions (and that you make reservations in advance). Definitely going back soon!“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“Exceptional eatery! Diner style all the way. Had eggs and corned beef hash with potatoes. Grapefruit juice (tropicana) and took a cinnamon roll with me (the best). Hash was not crispy but LOVELY that way, eggs were done just right, over medium, the heavily buttered rye toast dipped provided excellent yolk dips. Potatoes were abundant, and had morsels of pepper and onion. Ketchup exploded on me a lil..(can't put the bottles in the fridge). However they were attentive and apologetic following the incident.
I made my return for a waffle, the way it had tantalized my nostrils on the previous visit was inspiring of such. Waffle with banana was perfect. Filling, fluffy, crispy, sweet and savory.
p.s. ask for the salsa verde :)

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! “My food was delicious. I had the 60/40 and fries. The space is cozy and positive. It’s perfect for takeout, but there are a few seats and a counter available inside. “Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“
