“Claudette’s cafe has the most perfect reputation and they definitely measure up to that. Professionally and kindness is just the beginning. They merge their two cultures and share their own story with all of us. Thank you for being who you are. Continue to shine.“

“Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast.
Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. Also shared the black bean avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles — both fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor. The chilaquiles do get a bit pricey once you add the extras, but the taste made it worth it for us.
Came around 2 PM on a Sunday and still found outdoor seating easily, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Great food, warm atmosphere, and one of those places you leave already thinking about coming back to.“

“This is one of my go-to spots in Crown Heights. Everyone who works here is really nice and the food is amazing. My faves are the pancakes (they come with dulce de leche butter!) and the crispy eggplant sandwich. Great coffee and I also love the horchata. Highly recommended“

“Extremely recommended! The best chilaquiles in NYC! The food is clearly made with love, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere captures the best city vibes. The owners and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. We come here for breakfast almost every weekend, and they always treat us like family. It's one of those special places that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!“

“My first time at Wonder was exceptional. Was recommended it by a friend has no idea what I was walking into. Food was exceptional - I got the Tejas Barbecue brisket meal. The place was clean, people were kind. First time here and I’ll definitely bb back.“
“Miss Barbs is a Crown Heights establishment of the highest degree.
Their coffee and pastries are my favorites in the area, and it's a great space to hang out or work.
All the staff is super friendly and the owners are just the best.
My favorite thing about Miss Barbs is how integrated they are with the community. They run events all the time, and they're all super fun, like the spelling bee or the trash pick-up days or the little markets.
They've also got great vibes at night and it's an awesome place to get a glass of wine or two. Karaoke is my favorite thing ever and sometimes they've got a karaoke night. You can check their insta for the calendar of events.
Miss Barbs has provided me with the best customer experience I've ever had, and I'm super lucky to live nearby!“

“We were visiting from out of town this week and came to Moco more than once just because of how friendly the staff was. We met Jana, one of the women working, and we had to come back because she was just so awesome. The whole staff was incredibly kind and made our day! Yez was awesome too. Love this whole staff:))“

“My favourite cafe in Brooklyn. Asian-owned, super friendly and cool staff, tasty pastries that are hard to find in the neighbourhood. Great place to read / work / write on weekdays (no laptops on weekends). They are truly a community hub, with rotating art exhibits and phenomenal programming / events. I can't recommend LTS enough!“

“The BLT was off the hook. Came with a nice side salad. My kids loved the corn muffins (though one said it ran a little salty). Great food and coffee but it was the atmosphere that made this place stand out to me. Lots of big plants and great music — cozy but fresh; felt like we were in Costa Rica.“

“I love dilly dally!!! The name really embodies the experience: you don't want to leave. I have been many times, and the food is always high quality and delicious. The aesthetic and the staff make you feel at home there. I recently spent many hours there working during the day. There was wifi and many outlets available. I got the breakfast burrito, which was incredible, and sustained me to do hours of work. If you haven't been, you are missing out!“

“It’s more of a desert shop. Very tasty. The atmosphere is great too and very clean. The only down fall to the restaurant is the staff. Not welcoming at all and don’t greet you. I’m from out of country and I love to experience new places and I like to go back to restaurants that are friendly and warm, however, I won’t return here because of the staff lack of hospitality.“

“So happy to see Cug open his own place :) Very neighborhood-friendly, cozy spot. All the staff were super friendly snd nice, recommended some sightseeing here in Brooklyn (my wife and I were visiting). Cug popped by, super chill dude, had a small convo. The food was great, I got the Time Immemorial and my wife got the Ya Sista, both were exceptional. Also, there is a nice selection of imported Italian sauces, pastas, oils, etc. Highly recommend!“
“Im not a review-leaver but I have to for this coffee shop. This was my second time in and the staff is so genuine and kind. The coffee is excellent and I keep eyeing the pastries (which I learned are made in-house) but I come in after a run so it never feels like the right time. One day I will, but for now the coffee and the people are 10/10“

This cozy, counter-service spot serves fresh, organic, halal fare with a surprisingly massive menu spanning avocado toast, tartines, organic farm eggs, French toast, smoothies, and standout matcha and espresso lattes. “Worth the trip for some yummy and unique gluten free food! I wish there were more locations, if this was closer to me I would be visiting here all the time. “Love this place it’s so convenient, but the baristas are not consistent! Idol is the best at making coffee when he is there and definitely worth stopping by, but the other baristas tend to make some really bitter and burnt drinks so keep an eye out!“

“Firstly the setting is amazing, like living inside a museum piece. Secondly the food was excellent, from the Asparagus with olives to the Mac and Cheese (which I was initially suspicious of!). It's a decadent layer of crispy rich cheese varietes with the pasta hidden underneath.
It's on the pricey side, but the food quality & setting was there. However I would like to see an IPA for less than $15, this felt like too much even for a tall can of beer.“

“Mahmoud is the best! He makes a great bagel and is super kind. I got a latte with 2 coconut and 1 vanilla which I would highly recommend, paired with the Best Seller bagel with za'atar that was flavorful and spicy. Will def be going back if I'm in Prospect Heights and need a snack.“

“This place ended up being such a pleasant surprise. The menu had a really nice variety without feeling overwhelming — plenty of different meat cuts, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, and lighter options, so it felt easy to find something that matched whatever mood you’re in.
We started with the French onion soup, and it was honestly one of the better versions I’ve had in a while. The cheese on top was perfectly melted and flavorful without becoming too heavy, and the balance between the broth and onions was done really well. A lot of places overload the onions to the point where the soup loses its depth, but this one kept everything balanced and comforting.
We also ordered a panini-style baguette sandwich, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. The bread had a great texture, and the mix of vegetables paired really nicely with the vinaigrette and mustard dipping sauces. The sauces actually stood out because they added flavor without overpowering the sandwich itself.
The atmosphere made the whole experience even better. The bright interior, cozy setup, and French snacks lining the walls gave the restaurant a charming café feel that felt both casual and inviting. It had personality without trying too hard to be trendy.
Another highlight was the staff. Everyone was incredibly polite, patient, and genuinely helpful when it came to recommendations. Even with the place staying busy, the food came out surprisingly fast, which made the experience feel smooth from start to finish.
And the Nutella crepe absolutely lived up to expectations. They definitely didn’t hold back on the filling, and it made for a really satisfying dessert to end the meal.
The only small downside is that indoor seating is limited, so I could see it becoming crowded during peak hours. Still, between the quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly service, it’s definitely a spot worth returning to.“
