She recommended the BASIL INSTINCT: which was the best drink I’ve had all year. For appetizer, my bestie (who previously visited) recommended the KITFO SAMBUSA which literally tasted like ground beef but somehow it wasn’t lol. How do they do that? By far, the best dish was my bestie’s dish: SHASHAMANE BOWL. It was so good that I ordered a plate to go. This is the way vegetables are supposed to taste like! I promise you that you won’t miss the meat with this one! Jam packed with flava! “Very impressed since they was decorating the place. I was passing by every day till they finally open and I desire to try the food, I was curious and also I’m not a vegan person. When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. “Everything is seasoned to perfection here! Easily one of the best burgers (vegan or non) that I’ve had in awhile. Honestly, the only reason I remembered I wasn’t eating real meat was that I didn’t get my usual stomach ache or feel the heaviness of a greasy beef burger. Also the nugs are perfectly seasoned! I’ll be back this week for round 2!“

“Mikes has been a staple in the community for almost 40 years i remember bringing my kid to have breakfast on Saturday mornings before her activities it was cheap and cheerful Pratt students and faculty would be there as well. Now its practically same staff bathroom remodeled and costs have increased but so as everuthing else same friendly and fulfilling breakfast no bells and whistles but simple good food“

“I LOVE this pretty jewel box of a Thai restaurant. It's the go to for me and my gf whenever we visit the Brooklyn Museum, or are in the mood for delicious, affordable Thai food in a lovely setting . The place is gorgeous : the walls are in deep teal with gold leaf overlay. There are chandeliers and gold candelabras with fresh flowers at the up lit bar. Fabulous for a date night but also family friendly when the sun is up. The staff are solicitous but not pushy. But the food is what truly stands out. Beautifully plated and always tasty, you cannot go wrong with whatever you choose. My friend and I are both wild about the tangy roast pork with sticky rice. Sooooooo good!! And they make great cocktails. You should definitely go!!“

“Great little Mediterranean spot in Brooklyn. You might want to make a reservation if you want a table because it was extremely busy even during the week. I ended up sitting at the bar but I didn't mind because I got great service. They even have Turkish coffee. So awesome. Everything I ate was amazing and they have vegan options. The wines by the glass are excellent. Highly recommended!!“

We got a reservation around 5 or 5:30 I wanna say and within minutes of us getting there, the restaurant went from empty to bustling and packed in what felt like a manner of minutes! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the large windows allow for wonderful lighting - first, for happiness and second, for the Gram. We tried a bunch of different things that were all delicious. What really struck me was how simple these dishes were yet packed with a delightful combination of flavors. Of all that we tried, would highly recommend the whipped ricotta, mezze rigatoni, and ricotta- filled occhi. I came here a few months ago and cannot recall the gelato flavors but we tried all three and were not disappointed in the least. I hope to come back here soon!!“

“First time stopping at Garden Carver after hearing about it online! From the outside, you are greeted with a beautiful decorated & adorable tiny cafe! You can tell from entering they put a lot of thought into the vibe. It is cozy, welcoming & just beautiful.

Their display of stunning vegan pastries catch your eye. A large display case of vegan meats & cheeses & quick grab items - all looked amazing. But what I really came for was their breakfast croissant sandwich. It was SO good! It was made fresh & you can tell it’s quality ingredients. The croissant was so crispy & flakey. The egg, sauce, buttery onions, cheese & bacon just completed it. I’ve tried a lot of vegan breakfast sandwiches & this is top tier!

This place is worth the hype. Really amazing vegan - everything here! Don’t skip on the breakfast croissant- it’s THAT good!“
