“One of the best Kbbq if not the best kbbq restaurant I’ve ever been to. The eel was so fresh, the short rib was marinated to perfection. But the best thing on the table was the kimchi. The kimchi was crunchy, it was seasoned perfectly, and it was fermented just enough to pair perfectly with the proteins. The hospitality was amazing! The lady treated our party like her relatives and showed us what’s real hospitality is. My friends and I love how kind she was to us and we could not ask for a better meal. We will definitely come back more often!!“

My husband had specifically arranged for a sweet birthday surprise—a simple dessert and a song—and the hostess completely forgot. Watching the night end in absolute silence without even a mention of my birthday was devastating. It completely ruined what should have been a special moment. Remind the hostess or server several times about anything special you want yo do.“

“SHAKALAKA Bakery in Flushing is one of the more visually polished modern Chinese bakeries in the area and a reliable stop if you’re looking for cakes, pastries, or grab-and-go sweets that feel a bit more updated compared to traditional bakeries nearby.

The mango-based cakes are the most consistent thing here. They’re light, creamy, and built around fresh fruit rather than overly heavy frosting, which makes them easy to finish even after a full meal. The matcha cake also works well, leaning more milky than bitter, with a soft sponge that holds its structure without feeling dry. The pork floss cakes are one of the more interesting savory-sweet options, and they’re better than expected if you’re used to standard bakery versions since they don’t go overboard on sweetness.

The croissants and egg tarts are solid supporting items rather than the main reason to come. The croissants are flaky with a noticeable butter layer, and the egg tarts are best when eaten warm since the custard tightens up when cold. The purple rice desserts are heavier but work if you want something more filling and texturally different from the fruit cakes.

Service is generally efficient even when the bakery is busy, and the layout is set up for quick selection rather than lingering. “Tried the cinnamon bun latte on my first visit and loved it! Tiffany, the barista, was so friendly and enthusiastic, taking the time to explain the menu and share her personal favorites. I also noticed how kind and welcoming she was with every customer, not just me. Her customer service impressed me so much that I returned the very next day! The cookie butter latte was delicious, and the ciabatta panini was fresh and full of flavor. Tiffany recognized me and was just as sweet and accommodating as the day before. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu, but especially to see Tiffany! It’s rare to find someone who genuinely loves what they do, and her warmth, positive energy, and constant smile make all the difference. She’s truly an asset to this business! ☕💚“

“I had the chicken and lamb platter, and my friends had the chicken sandwich, Mac & cheese, and gyro wrap. We all left very happy. The platter was delicious, and everything was super fresh. “Dropped in on a whim since parking was available out front. Manager said under new operations and building a new tapas style menu. Food was delicious, steak slightly overcooked but not inedible. Service was good and attentive. Late dinner on weekday, place was empty with only a few of what appeared like friends of staff hanging out at bar. Will not hesitate to visit again and see their progress, seems like they are making the attempt to have a nice resteraunt.“

“Nothing negative about the establishment other than their hours are really inconsistent, as other reviewers have pointed out. I get that as a small business you have to close up when it’s slow but it’s frustrating for patrons to inquire about your closing time frequently. please update your hours to a consistent earlier closing time instead of asking patrons to leave sooner than they anticipated. “I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.

I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.

The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

“A buddy at work told me about this little beauty on the corner of 97th & 23rd Ave in East Elmhurst so I said I'd give it a try & it did not disappoint. It's a nice clean & bright restaurant with some tables & chairs outside & inside with two countertops & seating for 8 people on high stools & a small table & 2 chairs, nice AC blowing cool air. The server was very nice and they had the World Cup on TV & music playing down low. I ordered the double Burger Queen w/ truffle fries & a can of coke zero. The burger was moist tasteful sauces delicious & fried onions give it that extra taste. I saw some comments about burger & fries too salty (THEY WEREN'T) The truffle fries again were absolutely delicious so once I was done I went and ordered another double Burger Queen. This will be my go to for a delicious tasting burger & fries. I will try the triple with a fried egg next time. Listen, it's worth the visit. G'WAN YA WON'T BE SORRY 😉“

“First off, I absolutely love Yellowstone Sushi! I’ve always ordered sushi rolls here because they’re consistently fresh and delicious. Tonight I decided to be a little adventurous and try sashimi for the first time. I ordered the sashimi appetizer, not realizing it’s normally an assortment of different fish, and I had requested only salmon.

They called me to explain the menu and, as a one time courtesy because I didn’t know, they kindly offered to make it with just tuna and salmon instead. I want to be clear that this was a special accommodation they made for me and not something they normally offer.

I thought that was incredibly thoughtful and such wonderful customer service. They took the time to call, explain everything, and make sure I had a great first sashimi experience instead of just sending the standard order.

Thank you so much for your kindness! It truly meant a lot. I already love your sushi, and now I can’t wait to try sashimi for the first time. You’ve definitely earned another loyal customer! ❤️
