“I never thought I would find a kosher restaurant on the border of Bushwick and Bed-Stuy. And as far as I can tell, the closest place elsewhere you can find kosher food is in Crown Heights, which is about 2 miles away. Still, the shakshuka pita I had blew me away. That, and Eddie (the owner) helped me put on tefillin earlier. Considering it is a kosher establishment, the prices are pretty fair. Jewish or not, if you find yourself over here, try it, you won't regret it. My Orthodox friends would love this“

“We ordered for the first time tonight from Sammy, former proprietor of JuJu’s Bagels now transformed into El Toum. We ordered 4 items and they were ready for pickup in less than 25 minutes. The Mixed Kebab platter, Kofta Burger with fries, Falafel Sandwich with extra tahini sauce, and El Toum Appetizer were refreshingly homemade, tasted delicious, and proved outstanding bangs for the buck. More than enough food for a family of four with leftovers. This is a very welcome addition to a neighborhood missing this kind of fare. I highly recommend supporting this local business. Some of the best falafel and tabouli I’ve tasted in quite some time too!“

“I've lived in the neighborhood for 2yrs and finally decided to Try this Restaurant and it hasn't disappointed me yet! I was confused on what dish to get so the cashier (young lady with glasses) recommended "Chicken TIkka" it's so yummy ? the food was hot and freshly cooked this is my third time visiting. “My first time visiting and Ahmed was so kind and welcoming! I tried the mixed platter with three different meats and two sides (I chose rice and salad). The salad was fresh and crunchy, the meat and rice were seasoned wonderfully. Every bite was delicious, and the portions were huge. It's more a restaurant vibe so give them a little time to cook the food. Overall I highly recommend and I'll be coming back!“

“The owner of worker of this truck is a godsend! I couldn’t figure out how to put coins in the meter and he offered to pay and did for me with his coins and refused my pay back. “I tried a few treats from Yummy Tummy’s Kitchen and everything was so fresh, delicious, and full of flavor! The cookie was soft and warm, the little pie was perfectly baked, and the cupcake was super moist with the creamiest frosting. You can taste the love in every bite.

What makes it even better is that this place is woman-owned, and the owner herself is the chef and baker behind all these amazing goodies. You can really feel her passion in the quality of the desserts.

However the plate was small and could’ve been bigger being that we got a “pretty messy dish.” Only knock is the price.
