You name it, they did it! Bryce, Chloe, and their entire team were so helpful and kind. So willing to step up to plate, and the food was DELICIOUS. Super affordable and convenient as well, and they answered any and every question they had. Our special day was made even better thanks to the wonderful work of their staff and the beautiful scenery of their venue. “Visited Garvan’s today for the first time for a late lunch in the Pub. We started with Mexican Street Carrots. So delicious! My husband had the traditional Irish breakfast and I had the lamb stew. Waitress was nice and polite but should have checked at least once for drink refills. I tried to make reservations for my car club to come there on a given Sunday and time in May, about 10 of us, but was told they don't do that. I guess it's first come, first serve for seating. We want to eat together and would arrive about 1:30PM. I thought we could secure the back room, but no was the answer. It's ok. I understand. No hard feelings. If we were in that area again, we would eat there. We'll just look for another place in Rosendale. Best wishes to that facility.“

“Usually offers good bread. But is very wishy washy on their "old bread sales" prices. If it's a day old it should be discounted - period. (I have worked for almost four years in a bakery) This is being aggregated by the fact that I was not notified of this pricing structure when I asked for day old bread (with the specific intend to get a discount for something that is not fresh and won't last me as long). Had I been informed about this, I would have just bought the same bread *fresh* - for the *same price*. I feel that the omission of this fact is even done purposely to mislead customers.“

“My wife and myself have been going to the Hurley Mountain Inn for years. The owner Steve and his staff are amazing. When you walk through the door you get treated like family. With a wide variety of great food to choose from there is something for everyone. There is also a great selection of drink to choose from as well. Anything from beer, wine and ciders as well as a variety of different soda’s to choose from. “Went here on a nice summer Saturday with my family and had a wonderful experience. The gumbo stole the show! Creative options, classic New Orleans fare (including the fried alligator bites which we didn't get to try, maybe next time). Burger was amazing, fries (both Cajun and regular) were spot on. Buffalo cauliflower was my personal favorite. The waitress was friendly and personable. We had a few lovely conversations with her about her favorite selections. Chocolate cake = perfection. Atmosphere is casual, music is gentle and the staff were lovely. Definitely coming back. (Just be prepared for weekend New Paltz parking when you come out...)“

“I’ve struggled with finding really delicious wings in the area. It seems like Buffalo was the only place to go-until now. I was recommended to this place and I’m very happy with the quality of the wings. I had Thai and extra hot wings. The only thing is that the extra hot wasn’t hot at all to me. But that’s just me and that certainly doesn’t take away from the quality of the food and the excellent service. Next time I’ll just specify exactly how hot I want the wings. I highly recommend Hickory to anyone who is looking for delicious smoked food.“

“We came to Main Street Bistro for breakfast on the recommendation of our Airbnb host.

The menu is creative. My boyfriend's eyes stopped two items down the menu at Protein X. I kept going and asked if he was getting Kiki's breakfast stir fry and he changed his order. He rated it 9/10.

Since Mr eyes continued to wander, the citrus walnut bread of the Zoo Canoe was intriguing. I'm a picky eater. I've never put tomatoes in my eggs or tried hollandaise sauce but my daring spirit prevailed and I'm glad it did. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. I too would give mine 9/10. (Nothing is perfect although a well done version of my favorite ANYTHING may get 10/10.)

It was Saturday morning and busy. Our server Tim was good even though it was busy. Would definitely come back if we were in the area.“
