“We ordered a cake and cookies for my daughter’s first birthday which was an Alice in “Onderland” theme. The cake and cookies were absolutely incredible! First of all, the presentation was amazing, the cake was perfect, just like the Disney movie. One of our little guests walked up to it and said “wow! that looks like a cartoon!”. The cannoli filling was one of the best I’ve had. The cookies were beautiful, I almost didn’t want to eat them but they were delicious. I will definitely be a returning customer and will recommend this bakery to anyone looking to have an event with delicious treats!“

“A rare and true Italian bakery that is still working so hard to make fresh authentic pastries. So many bakeries cut corners and use cheap ingredients but you can tell this place is legit and goes the extra mile to deliver consistent great products. The staff is also extremely nice and helpful. I hope this place is here forever as it's a lost art that many don't know how to deliver on. While I recommend many things here, we just had their Pastiera (Easter cake) which is amazing and not overly sweet.“

Often walking into a coffee shop for the first time can feel daunting, but I received a genuinely warm welcome (and farewell) from multiple staff members, which immediately made we feel like staying for a while. The sticky bun flavor profile is breathtaking, the bread is tender and sweet, the glaze on top is amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better pastry to start my morning. Every single one of my guests said it was the best cake they’ve ever had in their entire lives. Taste was 10 out of 10 it’s rare you get a place that is capable of doing exquisite decoration, but also not compromising the deliciousness of the cake because you can’t have a nice looking cake that tastes terrible and vice versa. We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. That being said I love the empanadas at Los Andes are delicious. They have a good variety of other dishes as well.The establishment is tight so a visit with a group larger than 3 is not recommended. What i do recommend is taking a box of empanadas to go. They taste even better warmed up.Besides the empanada I had the fully loaded Chilean hot dog. The hot dog was a bit thin, but the combinations atop the hot dog were delicious. Also, they make a great cup of coffee.I make a trip to Los Andes every year for the Halloween parade with a sporadic viskt when I get a craving. “When we went to this restaurant a few weeks ago, it had the name Makondo, not Pantojarse.The environment in Makondo was welcoming and warm, with a mural of los cafeteros that immediately lets you know you're in Colombia. There is a take-away area at the front where you can purchase breads, arepas, and other easily portable foods, in addition to the tables and seating area in the back of the restaurant. We opted to dine-in for breakfast and try a variety of plates: calentado, arepa con chicharron, morcilla, and bunuelos. The calentado transported me back to Medellin and, honestly, it kept me full for the entire day. The morchilla, arepas, and chicharrones were cooked to perfection and we were provided with a variety of sauces to add an extra boost of flavor. Absolutely everything was delicious and the prices are incredibly reasonable when compared with the other breakfast restaurants in the area. The service was very friendly and attentive. Most of the clients spoke Spanish, including us, but we did hear them speaking English with a few tables that morning. This restaurant is a little piece of Colombia in White Plains and brings some much needed diversity (and flavor!) to the regular breakfast scene in this city.“
