“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“The chicken is nothing short of incredible—crispy, golden perfection on the outside with meat so juicy and tender, it practically melts in your mouth. The secret is in the double-frying technique, which gives the chicken that irresistible crunch that doesn’t quit.
But the flavors are what really set this spot apart. The soy garlic wings are my personal favorite—sweet, savory, and utterly addictive. If you’re a fan of spice, the hot and spicy option packs a punch without overwhelming your taste buds.
Beyond the chicken, the menu offers a great selection of sides that perfectly complement the main event. The pickled radish adds a refreshing tangy crunch, while the sweet potato fries are the ideal balance of sweet and salty.“

“Korean Street food such as donkatsu, teokbeokki, and fried chicken are the main items on the menu. The taste of the food is average but not bad for the price. Atmosphere is quite nice with a couple of tables available for seating. There's also no restroom available for customers.“

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any questions about the menu. They made sure everything was perfect, from the presentation to the service. Their genuine care for customers really stood out, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Yoodon for anyone looking for delicious food in a great setting!“
“Love coming here to get my fix of Korean food or gifting friends some home cooked style Korean side dishes. They make the food fresh daily and the owners are very welcoming. You can come get breakfast or coffee on the go as well and it’s all delicious.“

“So, I have been trying to try the famous Modoo halal ramen since last ramadan, as always, it was a 30 min wait, understandable they're very busy. We get seated and order our food. There were only two servers for the whole restaurant. We had to keep asking for napkins. Our water was never refilled, and the server forgot the order of the table next to us. The food was incredible, however, which made up for the experience, but seeing as the service was struggling, I was not impressed.“

“You guys should check this place out. I ordered sashimi poke and a roll. They are literally amazing. The sashimi was so fresh, the vegetables were fresh, and all the ingredients went well together! The portion is huge. If you like sashimi, you will love it here. I will definitely revisit!!“

“Since crispy cloud came to town, my life has been significantly improved.I LOVE their taiyaki, smoothies and açaí bowls. It’s important to note that it’s not that “fast” but that’s because it’s currently one person working there and she’s making everything fresh. It’s completely worth the $$ and time for me.“
“Brand new. When I walked in, they informed me they just opened the day prior. They even had trouble navigating some of the prices on the register, but overall, were very helpful and nice. They have an area just for side dishes, and some main dishes in the middle. When I came, they were still cooking, so the ideal time to go is around 12:30 - 1:00 to see what they have to offer.“
“K Kimchi
Kumkangsan was not just a kimchi store but also a historic restaurant established in 1992 in Flushing. The owner successfully managed multiple locations in Manhattan and Flushing, a testament to its popularity and quality. Sadly, the restaurant had to close its doors during the pandemic. Known for its great kimchi and authentic Korean dishes, Kumkangsan was more than a dining spot—it was a cherished part of the community’s cultural and culinary fabric.

“This is a really solid spot for old-style Korean donkatsu (iykyk). This spot has been around for a long time, and I can see why. Their menu only consists of one item and they do it well. Their prices have gone up over the years, but it's still reasonable given the quality and portion.“

“I took my MIL to a korean bbq. It was 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 kids (12 & 8 yo). There was lots of food that we enjoyed, and it was a charcoal grill, not a gas grill. The kal-bi took some some time to be cooked, but so what? It was really amazing. Since I hate "sweet" food (hate bulgogi), this place was the perfect place for me. The kalbi sauce was just amazing. There were lots of side dishes, and the ladies were super nice.
No pictures - sorry... we were just busy enjoying the food..
Parking: The parking is right behind the restaurants and connected to the restaurants directly. It was drizzled but didn't have to deal with it!“

“The tangsuyook jjampong Jjangmyeon combo only available for dine in is a must, would recommend. The amount of food you get for the price is great! Will definitely be coming back with my spouse.
Kid-friendliness: Went to dine in by myself with two kids, they offer high chairs and I recommend the fried rice combo comes with a side of soup similar to egg drop soup.“

“I stopped by and had lunch on my way back from Korea, and I was surprised by the good service from the staff. I was surprised that the employees were not friendly when I went to restaurants and other places in Korea, but at Chilsung Garden, which I first visited after coming to the U.S., all the employees greeted me with a smile and were very friendly. Please bring me the cell phone that I left behind because I was so busy... thank you.“

“Great lunch special options.
We had jjampong which is a spicy hand pulled noodles with seafood. Their broth has deep oyster/seafood taste and it was one of the best I had.
Combination of various dishes and jajangmyon (brown noodle) are great.
I took out shrimp with brown noodles and dumplings for my son and he loved it.
I got the sweet and sour beef (Tangsuyuk) for my in-laws and they really enjoyed it.
Quick and efficient service. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.“

“I ordered the wings with soy garlic and Korean bbq sauce. Both were delicious and very good. The garlic Parmesan fries actually has powdered sugar on top. I called to make sure it wasn’t someone in the kitchen messing up the seasoning. Turned out sugar is added on the fries so it’s salty and sweet. It’s not what I was expecting so not really my thing. I would order the plain French fries next time. The fries were very crunchy, just wished it wasn’t sweet.“

“Always consistent in quality and service whether I take out, dine in or get delivery (even through other apps). Best Chinese Korean food in the area. My favorites are 조개짬뽕, 찹쌀탕수육, 간짜장 & 조개볶음 + 면. Good for groups as well since they have separate rooms to accommodate events.“

“Sauerkraut chinese fish. This cuisine is generally for fresh of the boat Chinese people. But over the last few years, it has steadily gained popularity amongst non Chinese and even non Asians. I can't even explain what the taste is like aside from it being maybe lemongrass and spicy at the same time. The bowl is filled with random veggies, spices, and, of course, your choice of fish or even duck blood. This spot is located inside the food court of 99 Ranch Market. The prices are reasonable ($12.95), and the employees are nice. They also serve Malatang. Those that don't know, look it up. When you pay with cash, you get a free drink (yellow colored fruit tea)“

“I recently dined at Mad for Chicken, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The chicken was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The variety of sauces available added a nice touch, allowing for a personalized flavor experience.
The atmosphere was lively, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making the overall dining experience enjoyable. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that the wait time for the food was a bit longer than expected, especially during peak hours. However, the quality of the food definitely made up for it.
I would highly recommend Mad for Chicken to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. I'll definitely be returning to try more of their menu!“
